It seems that every now and then the stories end, so they say. Love songs are always tragic, and it can only be like this: when things go well one deals with something else, he certainly doesn't write songs.

I have described a now irrecoverable situation in which, however, the protagonist begins to see a distant light that will surely bring something good.

Musically we chose to make the song very open: me, Tyler and Nick played all the acoustic guitars, the pedal steel guitar and the slide trying to recall those typically American atmospheres, especially in the crescendo.

Pare che ogni tanto le storie finiscano, così dicono. Le canzoni d’amore sono sempre tragiche, e non può che essere così: quando le cose vanno bene uno si occupa di altro, non scrive certo delle canzoni.

Ho descritto una situazione ormai irrecuperabile nella quale, però, il protagonista inizia a vedere una luce lontana che porterà sicuramente qualcosa di buono.

Musicalmente abbiamo scelto di rendere il brano molto aperto: io, Tyler e Nick abbiamo suonato tutte le chitarre acustiche, la pedal steel guitar e la slide cercando di richiamare quelle atmosfere tipicamente americane, soprattutto nei crescendo.
