Give Me Love marks the start of a new journey into Drum & Bass from production duo Diezmo. Here Juan and Gelby turn their attentions from the house, garage and latin productions into the 174bpm, creating their own signature DnB sound using unique layers of percussion and brass stabs, overlaid with female vocals from one of the UK DnB’s ‘Royal’-ty. We know Diezmo are bringing a fresh new dimension to the scene with this and forthcoming bangers.

About the artist

Gelby and Juan met in London in 2016 and soon after started co-producing and releasing bass music of different sub-genres such as UK Garage, Trap and Moombahton under the name Diezmo. They also share a love for world and ethnic influenced electronic music which led them to start a side project called @Carthnage in 2018. The evolution of Drum & Bass in the last few years has re-captured their interest and reignited their lifelong passion for Drum & Bass. They now intend to make their name within the genre and are working hard preparing a debut EP to be released later in 2021.

Through his recent release entitled “Géminis”, the young Chilean producer Tomás Novoa explores in the field of experimental electronic music with a danceable proposal that brings together melodic techno, downtempo and modular synthesis, which will be available from October of this year (2021).

"This project was conceived in a pandemic context and corresponds to the closing of a very important creative cycle for me. I think it has been a great opportunity to seek new ways of relating to music and art, to reinvent ourselves and learn other paths", says the musician. His latest release reflects this search, with four songs that incorporate strident passages, emotional sound textures and danceable rhythms. This novel proposal joins the release of his EP “Espacio Negativo”, produced in 2019 in Chile.

"Beyond Control" is taken from NTO's upcoming album, which is a beautiful collection of melodic compositions paired with NTO's talent of making a track feel melancholic and uplifting at the same time. With the three already released tracks, "Zig Zag", "Invisible" (which was also remixed by Paul Kalkbrenner) and "Petit Matin", the French producer has already set the tone for his debut album with high-quality sounds and visuals.

Apnea is a collection of personal feelings, memories and milestones for NTO, which has taken him almost two years to create and finalise. "I have enjoyed the process of composing so much. The way I worked this time was way less isolated than usual, and I do feel that I made a lot of progress," he says and adds "this debut album is also a little bit of my family's history. Some songs and extracts wink affectionately at the people I love."

The album includes collaborations with Monolink, Tricky, Louise and French 79.

The album's title Apnea was inspired by the world free diving champion Arthur Guerin, who introduced NTO to his art. And as the term "apnea" is used to describe the suspension of breathing used in water sports, including free diving, it seemed only fitting for him.

Acclaimed Dutch duo Tinlicker (Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven) have released their stirring new single ‘Be Here and Now’ on London-based independent label Anjunadeep. The single release is accompanied by a music video directed by Julius Ponten and starring Dutch actor Werner Kolf (Wolf, Gangster, Vechtershart).

A collaboration with vocalist Nathan Nicholson, who has previously worked with Claptone, Kiko Franco, and Hannah Wants, ‘Be Here and Now’ presents as a part ballad, part progressive house anthem. Featuring the ecstatic builds and strings that have become synonymous with Tinlicker’s hair-raising sound, the single invokes the emotions of looking back at what once was. On the single, vocalist Nathan Nicholson explains:

“When Tinlicker first sent me the instrumental for this song, long before they gave it rhythm, I fell in love with it – just piano and strings. It was very powerful and a lot of the lyrics and all of the melody came out on my first pass. The lyrics are about a longing for the past and the innocence of growing up. I lost my mom when I was eighteen and within a year moved from Tennessee to England, so my childhood into adulthood has a very strong line running in between. I’m in a constant war with nostalgia – the other life – and where I am right now. In this song, I’m simply telling myself to have reverence for my past, but not to be beholden to it. A huge thanks to Tinlicker for asking me to be a part of it.”

‘Be Here and Now’ joins Tinlicker’s esteemed catalog, which includes their 2019 album ‘This Is Not Out Universe’ which saw support from the likes of Pete Tong, Ben Malone at Kiss FM, SiriusXM Chill, 538 Dance Department, Slam!, and Sunshine Live, as well as prolific producers such as deadmau5, Gorgon City, Cassian, Eli & Fur, Lane 8, Dosem and Edu Imbernon.

Having individually honed their skills as part of a world-renown drum and bass act Black Sun Empire (Heyboer), and as a producer, songwriter, and music editor for many artists (Van Achthoven), Tinlicker has quickly become a household name in the world of electronic dance music. On her new EP Étoile out October 27th via FLAU, Noah continues takes things into denser territory, rich with atmosphere and a healthy dose of mysterious mode without sacrificing the unmistakable rhythms she's become known for. Following the first single "Moonchild", today Noah shares the EP opener "Rosa Alba", a track that sends a delicious mix of golden-age Ninja Tune and sliced up piano down the hatch.

The Hokkaido-born musician Noah has changed her constantly seen her sound evolving since the release of her 2015 album Sivutie. While she described it as "a sonic vision of a daydream scene,” 2019’s Thirty contained a mysterious, vapor-wave-like atmosphere that functioned as a gateway to Tokyo’s urban world. While also incorporating the delicious minimalism of 80's Hong Kong pop, Noah finally realized what she really wanted to express during the challenging first year of the pandemic.

Growing up in Hokkaido, an idyllic snowy place and Japan’s northernmost island. The environment, as it would, had a deep impact on Noah—and it’s her surroundings that inform her music to this day.
