Although at first I thought that the song was dedicated to that person, over time I understood that the message and meaning of the song speaks of the feeling that we begin to experience when we begin to fall in love, that dopamine, certainly addictive.

Anto Dust is the musical venture of Anto Cossu, musician and composer from the Italian island of Sardinia.
After playing solo initially, Anto was joined by Antonio Perry on lead guitar duties and David Roberts on drums.

Mental Pictures is all about living in the moment. So many people are living life through their phones. They’re obsessed with capturing the best picture, with the best angle, in the best lighting, not realizing that what they’re actually doing is missing the moment. There is something about just looking up from our phones, putting away the devices, and seeing/experiencing what’s really in front of us. I got the inspiration for this song on a very ordinary day. I was simply driving through my neighborhood with my boyfriend (now husband) and I looked over at him while we are at a stop light and something about the way he looked in the moonlight just captivated me. I knew that I wanted to remember it forever, but instead of pulling out my phone to take a picture like I would normally do, I put my hands up to my face and took a “mental picture” instead. A Canadian medical physicist turned singer-songwriter who first discovered his voice and songwriting in his late 30's.
Without license or passport Doc meanders through musical styles weaving together influences from pop, folk, country, and jazz. Doc's songs are lyrically driven, heartfelt, and focus on universal themes that allow his music to relate to a wide audience.
His acoustic sound and breathy folk-pop vocals have been compared to other to singer-songwriters like Ben Rector, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and Jake Scott.
To date Doc has released two 4-song EP's that are aptly named "Half-Life" and "Thought Experiment". These works have seen Doc collaborate with many of Canada's top producers and musicians most notably Toronto-based producer Les Cooper (Craig Cardiff, Jill Barber, Meaghan Smith), violinist Drew Jurecka (Dua Lipa, Hailee Steinfeld), piano player Robbie Grunwald (Donovan Woods), drummer Lyle Molzan (Headstones) and the Juno-award winning singer-songwriter Meaghan Smith.
Doc releases new music every 8 weeks and will continue doing so for the foreseeable future.
