"Hold On" is an original song about feeling uneasy about a relationship's future, and experiencing uncertainty in general. The chorus represents a final plea to hold on to the relationship based on the realization that there's enough good left to salvage. The artist played all the instruments on the track, which features a smooth vocal with haunting electric guitar accents overlaid over a driving train rhythm drum beat and feverish acoustic guitar.

Lion's Den, the musical project of Matthieu Huijser, is releasing the first single of his upcoming EP 'Tune In', which is set for release in February 2022. His melancholic folk is influenced by artists such as Amen Dunes, Devendra Banhart and Destroyer. In 2018, Lion's Den released 'Naoko/Time', which reached over 100k streams together. After that, he played at the Dutch traveling festival Popronde, supported Okkervil River (US) in Amsterdam and got airplay on Dutch Radio. His releases also got media coverage by the The Daily Indie (NL), Dansende Beren (BE) and 3voor12 (NL).

“Videosa” is the last single before the album release of the German folk rock band Ticket to Happiness. A cliché spaghetti western plot, derived from a dream of the band’s singer JP, is presented together with an elaborate music video. A snottily spoken intro takes the listeners into the wild west where in a “foolish, rotten town” the protagonist Videosa is bloodily shot by the antagonist Revolver Ron. Her great love Benny rounds up his crew and seeks revenge.

The plot is supported by a fiery musical arrangement and marks a showy kickoff that is meant to be enjoyed with the winking of an eye.

The album is produced by Pomez di Lorenzo (3x ECHO-nominated “best producer”) and mastered by Marc Einstmann (Depeche Mode, Mick Jagger). We are looking forward to the album “Roaming Riders” being released in two weeks time.
