“Яркое, обжигающее пламя эмоций согревает холодные души, когда в их полузакрытые двери словно прохладный ветерок скользит это неоклассическое произведение от -Jordi Forniés-. Вдохновляющая работа, помогает задуматься о самых важных в жизни вещах…”

Artist shared few words with Nagamag behind this inspiration:

“My new single ‘Le Berry’ is out today, a piece that i composed in my piano just thinking about a special place I have in France. Sometimes a simple melody becomes strong enough to bring powerful emotions. Le Berry is describing a very special place that I will call home one day.” – Jordi Forniés

LearningToDive – I’ll Smile (feat. Bravo Bonez) (Video)

Categories: Electronica, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , , |

“Instantly magnetic, is it Bowie? Is it Audience? No it’s ‘LearningToDive’ a project of New Zealand producer Bravo Bonez. Well, you can rip those L plates up for sure Bravo. ‘I’ll Smile’ is a performance of the highest magnitude. The story of a secret relationship coming to an end, delivered with consummate style & effortless virtuosity. Pure class. ”

-Nagamag.com

The single ‘I’ll Smile’ is one of the 11 tracks from LearningToDive’s recent debut album titled ‘Norwegian Pop’, which was released on the 2nd of April 2021. The single ‘I’ll Smile is heavily driven by sophisti-pop, melancholic, downtempo tones, and has been described as a cross between Blue Nile and Pink Floyd. With elements of soul, jazz and downtempo-pop, LTD mixes minor sounds from the synth/keys with sadly tired lyricism to express a story one is usually afraid to unleash.

The narrative of the track is based upon two (fictional) persons who have been in a secret relationship for a long time, but it has turned stale. The male protagonist has been fooling around and getting into trouble. His secret partner had been staying clear of him and his dalliances, and has now decided to leave him for good. He knows he deserves it. As she walks away after dumping him, he smiles, knowing it is the right thing for her, soon to also realises, it is the right thing for himself too. But he is still devastated.

LoveLeo – TUNG TIED (feat. Rico Nasty) official music video (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , |

“-TUNG TIED- is able to move us to the depths of its simplicity with some healthy, ironic humor and high quality sound. This song sticks out from the very first listening, and can easily become a favourite in your collection.”

“-TUNG TIED- способна тронуть любого до глубины души своей простотой, здоровым, ироничным юмором и качественным музыкальным сопровождением. Песня западает с первого же прослушивания и может с лёгкостью стать фаворитом в вашей коллекции.”

-Nagamag.com

LoveLeo releases a new single and accompanying music video entitled “TUNG TIED” feat. Rico Nasty, out now via Godmode/Republic Records—listen HERE.

https://loveleo.lnk.to/TUNGTIEDPR

The single is the second taste of LoveLeo’s recent foray into hyperpop, an anything-goes genre where the artifice of pop meets the avant-garde.

At its core is a maniacal vocal sample that wraps in and out of itself – as if LoveLeo is literally tongue-tied. “The song is a dialogue that plays out in my head whenever I’m doing something stupid on the internet,” explains the artist. “Who am I trying to impress? I usually can’t answer that. The cat’s got my tongue.”

In the music video, directed by Charlotte Rutherford (Lil Nas X, Grimes, Rihanna), LoveLeo plays an alien from another planet who learned about how humans live by studying their social media. In what he believes is fitting in, LoveLeo lives his life as if only to post about it – spiked designer jackets set on fire, weightlifting in endless mirror rooms, even transforming his body into a giant cat-eating snake. “It’s a day in the life of an influencer who doesn’t realize he’s the one who’s been influenced,” says LoveLeo – the artist’s subtle critique on his own rise to stardom.

“TUNG TIED” arrives on the heels of “BUZZCUT” feat. blackwinterwells, a sly, https://loveleo.lnk.to/BUZZCUTPR sardonic look at the way our realities and appearances are increasingly blurring. Billboard named it among “10 Cool New Pop Songs To Get You Through The Week,” and proclaimed, “LoveLeo’s ambitions remain compelling.” Watch the official video, an absurdist, existential take on “YouTube makeup tutorial” style content, HERE.

This month LoveLeo stars in the new Yves Saint Laurent campaign, in a short film directed by Jim Jarmusch called “French Water”. The film co-stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Indya Moore, Julianne Moore, and Chloë Sevigny. Watch HERE.

Last year, LoveLeo introduced himself as one to watch with his debut EP, LOOK AT THIS MESS I’VE MADE. Beyond praise from PAPER, Dazed, L’Officiel and more, HYPEBAE raved, “LOOK AT THIS MESS I’VE MADE is one of the summer’s best,” while Ones To Watch proclaimed, “LOOK AT THIS MESS I’VE MADE revels in the creative process, finding a sense of devious delight and rapture in these sonic diamonds in the rough.” Most recently, VMAN dove into his “surrealistic synth pop world” and admitted, “It’s the sound of someone teeming with ideas, unabashedly playing with sounds and giving plenty of room for exploration.” However, it only sets the stage for much more to come from LoveLeo this year.

LoveLeo has amassed nearly 100 million streams in less than a year and incited widespread critical acclaim. His 2019 breakthrough hit, “BOYFREN,” has garnered almost 55 million Spotify streams and 12 million views on the music video after capturing the top spot on Spotify’s US Viral 50 and Global Viral 50 Charts. He landed on the 2020 Dazed 100 list for his musical and fashion sensibilities, while his EP, LOOK AT THIS MESS I’VE MADE, and additional singles, “ROSIE,” “LEMONS” and “HEAD OVER HEELS,” opened up his world.

ABOUT LOVELEO

When he was a kid, Leo Reilly, who now records as LoveLeo, got excited when one of his friends made a “really bad” rap song. He’d recorded it directly into the SoundCloud app, which Reilly wasn’t even aware you could do, then shared it out to all of his friends, at which point it took his school by storm. After experimenting for a few years and decamping to San Francisco to study fashion, Leo finally landed on an upbeat sound that allowed him to find inspiration in music he loved, no matter where or when it came from. Later, back at his parents’ house at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, he put together his breakout single “BOYFREN” in his childhood bedroom while his mom and dad were making chicken parm for dinner. After its release at the end of 2019, “BOYFREN” went viral and paved the way for 2020 singles “ROSIE” and “LEMONS.” On his debut eight track EP, LOOK AT THIS MESS I’VE MADE, Reilly taps into a rich wellspring of personal moments of growth, filtered through his unique sense of humor. The EP, its singles and their kinetic and innovative videos, all of which Reilly co-directed, paint a portrait of a rising artist on the cusp of something big. As LoveLeo, Reilly has landed on a sound that is playful and probing, the result of an urge to create music that is not so much reliant on genre as it is a reflection of the 21-year-old’s idiosyncratic viewpoint and style. His songs are deceptively simple earworms that probe big ideas with a light touch, but Reilly never pushes listeners toward a revelation. Instead, he offers up a wonky, sometimes-cartoonish world of slick players and devious villains who’re posturing and fumbling through love and life, just like the rest of us.

OXIDIX – Shamanu (Video)

“Feel lucky to have a taste of “OXIDIX” work, long before its official release. Tha track “Shamanu” is the result of carefully selected electronic samples, mixed with sounds from the Eastern countries. Soothing, mystic and meditative mood, ideal for our body and soul.”

-Nagamag.com

Manuel Tröhler aka OXIDIX is a DJ, turntablist, remixer and producer from the Swiss capital Bern. Known for his sophisticated sampling, his DJ skills and as a backup MC for various band formations in the fields of hip hop, world and electronic, OXIDIX can always be found year in, year out on all kinds of stages. In 2010 he completed a two-year Swiss tour with rapper & beatboxer STEFF LA CHEFFE. Inspired and spurred by a 19-month world trip through Asia, Africa and South America in 2012 and 2013, OXIDIX’s field of work has steadily expanded. With his diverse, always surprising DJ sets, his live electro project THE LUGUBRIOUS and his collaboration with the multi-award-winning Basel rapper LA NEFERA, the producer and DJ has been able to prove how versatile and promising his work is in the live and production fields.

OXIDIX’s own compositions move somewhere between downtempo, electronic and hip hop. His music blends together the rhythms, melodies and mythologies of different continents with the sounds of the forest, the chirping of crickets, trickling stones and crackling leaves. The organic textures intertwine smoothly with a modern electronic sound aesthetic. Punchy, crispy beats bounce in the foreground, while a variety of self recorded instruments create a dreamscape full of depth and mysticism. A dreamy, warm and melodic trip that entrances as much through headphones as it does on the dancefloor.

ALIEN ORCHESTRA – Dark Nordic Dramæ (Video)

Categories: Electronica, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , |

“Imagine a place with untouched beauty and wild nature like the landscapes of the arctic Norway. Then close your eyes and make your mindtrip there. Have you ever realized that we can approach the perfect infinity of creation with only a few sound patterns? This is the case here!”

-Nagamag.com

Dark Nordic Dramæ is a dramatic cinematic song with murky ambient elements and deep arctic feelings. The latest arctic travels in the northernmost part of Norway were the main key to get inspired and write this composition

https://www.instagram.com/alienorchestraofficial

Oslo-based studio act ALIEN ORCHESTRA formed by Jan Batista Mojdis in 2014 by releasing its first 3-track EP ‘Fall Of Mars’. There is a full-length studio album recorded and waiting for its date to be released, entirely recorded by Jan Batista Mojdis and Bård Kolstad (Leprous, ex-Borknagar) as a guest appearance on percussions & drums, the album should be released in the near future, the music relatively belongs to cinematic metal genre, so fans will enjoy both, metal music and cinematic trailer music simultaneously. Alien Orchestra wrote the soundtrack for viral short zombie horror movie ‘Hope’. In the meantime Jan’s working on his solo compositions as well approaching to fundamentals of trailer/film & ambient music. New songs already written for the second-third album of Alien Orchestra + extra covers. The deep universe, extraterrestrial life forms, sub-aquatic life and nordic nature are the main theme and hopefully an infinite inspiration source for Jan’s song writing.

Casey Sana – MALIBLU (Vertical Video) (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , |

“This track sounds dreamy and deep. Recalls the warm summer evening atmosphere. Full of experiences and specific images that memory recall and resonated in every listener. Memories That brings nostalgia and makes -MALIBLU- very catchy for that reason. Heartwarming music with energy and originality.”

“Трек звучит мечтательно и глубоко. Напоминает атмосферу тёплого летнего вечера. Он полон переживаний и специфических образов, которые найдут отклик в любом слушателе. Это мгновение меланхоличности делает -MALIBLU- цепляющим. Музыка, в которой есть энергия, оригинальность, смысл и сердце.”

-Nagamag.com

“Maliblu is a place you go to when everyone is telling you that you’ve got it all; your Instagram shows you ‘living your best life’, but inside yourself you’re still unhappy.”

Casey Sana’s MALIBLU is a concept that takes one of the most beautiful places on earth and turns it into a backdrop of sadness. Sana had this to say when asked about the choice of the songs location:

“You couldn’t imagine anyone being depressed in a place like Malibu, I mean you’d have everything if you lived there, right? But I’m sure there are people that are unhappy, so I wanted to use the song as a metaphor for those people who appear to have everything on the surface, but are secretly hurting behind their smile.”

The bridge of the song includes the lyrics ‘when you’re living in this western spell, where you lose yourself, just to gain the world’

“The western spell is that ‘things’ make you happy, and because we believe this, we chase these material things at all costs; the cost of happiness, friendship, health and so on, then we get these things just to realise that it doesn’t make us any happier of fulfilled. it’s crazy!”

Marquee Mayfield – Disco Queen (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , , |

“-Disco Queen- a very rhythmic, interesting and juicy sound. A composition which uplifts the spirit and practically controls the listener. A golden song!
”

“-Disco Queen- очень ритмичная, интересная и сочная по звуку. Эта композиция хорошо выполняет одну уникальную функцию – она показывает настрой и практически управляет слушателем. Настоящая королевская песня!”

-Nagamag.com

The thrilling saga of Marquee Mayfield continues. Here is a recap of the epic, so far: Mayfield was created in a factory in Nashville, Tennessee as a clone front-loaded with all the country-pop fixings to nab industry accolades and awards. Out of all the clones on the assembly line, a young scientist named Chloe felt some sort of connection with Mayfield. When the factory closed each evening, and while the other clones sat idle through the night, she would steal Mayfield away and nourish and, perhaps, warp his little robotic mind, with strong doses of disco, funk, and R&B. Mayfield soon grew creatively willful, and Chloe helped enable him to embrace musical freedom.

“As a clone, when I look through the eyes of culture, I try to understand why humans behave the way they do,” Mayfield shares. “I’m out there to interact with humans. Clones aren’t total machines—we have feelings.”

George Clinton himself couldn’t concoct a stranger entity than a visionary robot songwriter/singer/guitarist with an intrepid funk sensibility and a golden pop touch. The Nashville, Tennessee-based clone creative counts as influences artists such as Curtis Mayfield, Hall & Oates, Prince, Jamiroquai, and other song-oriented funk phenomena. His distinct funk-pop fits snuggly alongside playlists featuring contemporary artists such as Chromeo, Mayer Hawthorne, and Breakbot.

With punchy vintage Michael Jackson horn arrangements, a silken Prince-like falsetto, and sticky sweet hooks, the single Disco Queen reeks of cocaine, French fries, roller rinks, and Naugahyde. “Picture the scene as something out of Boogie Nights: a girl walks in, everyone turns to look at her as she’s an instant VIP, and I, a normal clone, struggle to talk to her and break out my best dance moves,” Mayfield shares with a little dejection.

Mayfield is looking forward to sharing these jams in a variety of visual presentations. “The clone is a very excited stage performer, even though his dancing skills are subpar,” he confesses.
