“Don't be afraid to TOUCH FIRE with -Malene Markussen- which under the hookiest qualities of melodic and groove layers matched together through a solid mix, erupting above with her upbeat and entrancing vocals. ”

After releasing two Norwegian albums, I decided to release an Ep to expand my follower base outside of Norway. Touch Fire is the second single form the Ep which will be released 2021. A powerfull pop song with a bit of a retro vibe. The song speaks about the thrill of pushing limits.

Myyora Interview on Nagamag

Nagamag:
What are the genres that describe better your music style?

Myyora:
Pop, electro, soul for the acoustic version.

Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?

Myyora:
For my musical background i have always sung, since i was a little girl, whether it was at home by myself or with my cousins, or for school talent shows, or being in a band in university. The pursuit of my musical career began 2 years ago but it's only getting started now after only just releasing my first single in July.

Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?

Myyora:
I've always had a connection to music but i would have to say the biggest and final push that's lead me here was being in a band in my first year university. It was my real first experience with being on stage and feel that connection with people who love music as much as you do.

Nagamag:
Most artists have a favorite song from a different music genre than the one they are producing music for... Which is yours?

Myyora:
Willow Smith "Time Machine"

Nagamag:
Of Course Nagamag would love to listen also which track from a similar artist you admire?

Myyora:
Alicia Keys "3 Hour Drive (feat. Sampha)"

Mario Verandi – Small Wings Behind (Video)

“Mario Verandi composed a truly rich in harmonies story. Notes gently shimmer in the air, as if the raindrops play on the railing of a balcony. Yet somewhere far away, where clouds on sky are travelling quick you listen a lighting. ”

“Mario Verandi создал поистине пространственную музыку. Ноты мягко переливаются в воздухе, будто капли дождя играют на перилах веранды. И где то вдали, там где плывут по небу тучи слышится легкая тревога.”

This track features delicate impressionistic piano melodies that flow over distinct electronic/ambient textures.

“Mysterious rhythms overlap with the spatial melody. The feeling that you are in a small room, and the music makes you dance. This is so relevant in our time, because each of us wants to have fun. Do this, boost your joy with this new single of Trenox!”

“Загадочные ритмы пересекаются с пространственной мелодией. Ощущение, что вы находитесь в небольшом помещении и эта музыка заставляет вас танцевать. Она так актуальна в наше время, ведь каждый из нас хочет веселья. Сделай это!”

“An emotional message to each of us from Helena Mayer. Who are we? and why do we misunderstand each other? Delicate rhythms with enveloping vocals and emotional piano are all you need for a warm evening and to understand easier each other.”

“Эмоциональное послание каждому из нас от Helena Mayer. Кто мы, и почему мы так не правильно понимаем друг друга? Нежные ритмы с обволакивающим вокалом и эмоциональным фортепьяно, это все что нужно для теплого вечера и что бы понять друг друга.”

-Nagamag.com

Helena Mayer is a singer and songwriter born in Thousand Oaks, California. From an early age, Helena has had a passion for music, and now at 21, she has begun releasing lyrically emotional energetic pop & R&B influenced music. Her deeply introspective, sometime brooding, and soulful lyrics represent a dichotomy when paired with the dance oriented, electronic insturmentation. Mayer takes her influence from artists like Lauv, Khalid, Julia Michaels, and Billie Elliss.

While she planned to begin releasing in early 2019, she released her single in November of 2018 in response to the Borderline shooting and fires that overtook her hometown earlier that month. Since then, she has been convicted to write music that makes the world better.

Matthew Avery Interview on Nagamag

Nagamag:
What are the genres that describe better your music style?

Matthew Avery:
Classical, minimalism, ambient, melancholy.

Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?

Matthew Avery:
I used to play guitar in several punk/hardcore bands from age 15-23 and then slowly began composing on piano over the next years. I find the sounds of the piano soothing and more conducive towards composing songs that inspire strong emotions. Guitar is still an amazing instrument that I enjoy playing, but the piano has taken over as my instrument of choice over the past few years.

Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?

Matthew Avery:
My first real love of music came when I heard AFI's album "Sing the Sorrow". The guitar tones, song structures, lyrics, melodies and production quality were all so perfect in capturing a sort of romantic feeling of sadness. I would say my biggest inspiration for composing instrumental music came later from listening to movie soundtracks done by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis as well as Clint Mansell. They were able to inspire so much emotion with minimalistic piano-based songs.

Nagamag:
Most artists have a favorite song from a different music genre than the one they are producing music for... Which is yours?

Matthew Avery:
Caravels "Hanging Off"

Nagamag:
Of Course Nagamag would love to listen also which track from a similar artist you admire?

Matthew Avery:
Nil Ciuró "Inner"
