Jordi Forniés – The Music Painter (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Neoclassical, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“The Music Painter is the case when the track title speaks for itself. Jordi Forniés like a real artist in the world of music draws his classical works. Gentle, sometimes impetuous melody and contemplative, creative mood.”

“The Music Painter тот самый случай, когда название композиции говорит само за себя. Jordi Forniés как настоящий художник в мире музыки рисует свои классические произведения. Нежная, порой импульсивная мелодия и созерцательное, творческое настроение.”

“Long Way Home - the postulate of a new composition of the classic artist Ulas Sarper. Soon or later, after achieving all the desired goals, the moment of awareness of the truth - it's time to go home; there is a fire in the fireplace and your love is waiting you there.”

“Долгая дорога домой - постулат новой композиции классического исполнителя Ulas Sarper. Рано или поздно, после достижения всех желаемых целей, наступает момент осознания истины - пришло время возвращаться домой; там горит огонь в печи и вас непременно кто-то ждёт.”

Artist shared with Nagamag few words behind this song:

"When creating this song, I thought what I feel when I drive home each day. Yearning for my family, happiness, doubts, mixed feelings... That's the reason why this song includes major / minor scale transitions indicating mood changes from happy to sad. I came up with simple melodies and by improvising it, I structured the chord progressions. "

A peaceful soft piano composition. It tells us about the rural life of our grandparents...

https://www.instagram.com/andrea.sertori/

Andrea Sertori is an Italian pianist and composer of instrumental music. He started his first classical piano studies when he was 9 years old and his first keyboard experiences when he was 15. He had the opportunity to play in different rock bands and at the same time to continue studying piano in order to improve his piano technique and sensitivity as much as possible. Beyond the piano he has the great passion of synthesizers. The study of synthesizers allowed him to learn how to combine classical piano music with electronic music. His first solo work was 'Mosaic Room' (2017), a 5 track EP where piano and synthesizers overlap. From this moment on, in succession, he released a series of tracks that are characterized by a fusion between neo-classical and electronic music.

Maceo Frost – Failing to Meditate (Spotify)

“Feel what you have inside. Feel the waves of goose bumps and a lump in your throat. This new composition Failing to Meditate, now it is within you. Music of Maceo Frost is not just a part of your soul, it is its whole now.”

“Почувствуйте, что у вас внутри. Почувствуйте волны мурашек и ком в вашем горле. Чувствуете? Это новая композиция Failing to Meditate, теперь она внутри вас. Музыка Maceo Frost не часть вашей души, она её целое.”

-Nagamag.com

Artist shared with us few words behind this song:

The first time I tried meditation I felt panic. My mind, couldn’t find peace. I didn’t get it. I was bummed I signed up for a 3-day meditation course because now I had to commit. After 3 days I managed to hack the system by shutting my brain off. Basically falling asleep without anyone in the Yoga shala noticing. I felt thankful like: I'm so lucky I’m not a snorer.

However, I remember landing a kickflip down a curb first try while skateboarding home from the last day. Wow! Somehow I had more balance and control. Second attempt, I flicked the board effortlessly and catched it as if it was nothing.

I could hear the catch of the board gripping my shoes mid-air. Only to realise I catched it sideways, landing, a little bit too fast. Effortlessly giving blood to concrete basically.

When given the chance to slow down, why do I still look for loopholes and distractions to avoid feeling what's going on inside?

It was around this time I started playing piano.

It started off as a kind of challenge to see if I could learn something I thought I had no talent for. Maybe if I could prove myself wrong I’d realize that anything is possible. After about a year, playing became less focused on improvement and naturally became a sort of meditation to help me process life. Songs started coming to me as if from a magical place, often with deep insight, goosebumps and tears. They helped keep my mind sane during my tireless quest to prove myself as a film director to the world, whether it was an airport piano or a hotel lobby piano on my next film gig, or home, in my kitchen with the lights dimmed. It helped bring me back when I was burned out and depressed from selling too much of my soul to the commercial world.

From now on I promise to share this music with you. Hoping that just maybe... it will help you connect to yourself as these songs did to me. They all came to me at certain times in my life, helping me get through wherever I was at the time.

”Failing to Meditate” is my first piano single, A homage to these moments of escapism, Reminding me to stay humble when preaching about mental health.

Now on all streaming platforms.

10after10 – Forgive Me (Video)

Categories: Electronica, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , , , |

“Sometimes we realize we have done wrong, feel the regret of our bad deeds and wish we knew more. This is the general idea of 10after10-Forgive Me. A focus on the importance of forgiveness and the avoidance of repeating the same mistakes. All presented in a great Cinematic track.”

-Nagamag.com

“There are so many things I wish I knew
Wandered for so long, to come back to the same place”

“The music video of “Forgive Me” is a pictorial analogy of the everlasting guilt driven by a bad decision which leads to ruminate the “I wish I knew” thought.

The scene takes place following the moment when God talked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to ask them why they were hiding. They must have felt so guilty even though God was showing them so much love.

In the video, Eve is wandering as she seeks forgiveness for the sin that we are still paying for to this day. She wanted to know so badly that it led her to take the worst bloody decision in the world when she was totally free in the garden… How can we break free from such a burden?

Letting go is always a decision away, it starts when you accept that you are guilty, selfish or sometimes, an asshole, but it’s ok, as long as you don’t keep being it! The biggest challenge after is to open the door and let the light in… to let love in.”

Gustav Hoyer – Innocence (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Neoclassical, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Crystal clear, airy, soft and magical orchestra sounds from another world, directly revealed from a real master. An epic Cinematic mix with targeted up and downs and excellent transitions. We consider "Innocence" among the pieces you should never miss.”

-Nagamag.com

Gustav Hoyer, a Colorado-based classical composer, has interest in both classical music and technology. This combination has created a lifelong journey for both Gustav and his listeners. Founder of the Los Angeles-based Orchestra Unleashed, Hoyer has built a growing discography available for any person aiming to be transcended into an almost-cinematic universe.

His latest release, “Innocence” is the follow up to his glorious track “Adventure at Sea,” which made waves.

His abundance of strings in the song allows for the listener to be immediately captured by the story of the piece. The piece goes on to be a dynamic story, with beautiful themes and powerful horns. This piece immediately reminds me of Alexandre Desplat or Alan Silvestri, two composers known for creating an entire universe within their works.

His recorded music has been heard in film, on radio and in performances worldwide. He founded and directed the Los Angeles-based Orchestra Unleashed, dazzling audiences with a series of multimedia orchestral performances that reimagined the typical classical concert. Concurrently, Hoyer produced the original soundtrack for critically acclaimed stage epic “Acts, the Three Man Show.” His most recent album, “The Gilded Age,” included The Steampunk Serenade for a 40-piece string orchestra. Gustav Hoyer’s journey to become a classical music composer was certainly not scripted.

“The Listening” is a choral piece inspired by a 1967 MLK speech (“Beyond Vietnam: A Time To Break Silence”) and features MLK’s goddaughter, Donzaleigh Abernathy. The piece is a call to act, to listen, and to speak for the unheard voices. The song will be featured on People.com, in Harper’s Bazar, and several radio stations and media outlets who have interviewed Donzaleigh about it. We are doing a strong promotional push during Black History Month. More info at www.cbemusic.co/thelistening.

“True piano talent revealing from this three-minute Cinematic flower. "Forever And A Day" brings the sense that you listen something serious, important and truly real. Sacha Hoedemaker knows very well how to affect without any complicated methods.”

-Nagamag.com

This melancholic piano track has the vibe of heartbreak.
The ambiance of this piece represents letting go of something of value or a loved one.
It's a necessary decision that you put off too long, but now ready to be at peace with.
There is hope in the future. No matter how much it hurts right now, it's for the best.
