The Key Rocks – The Line (Acoustic) (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Rock, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“In the manner of fulfillment, deep vocals prevail, but at this tempo the naked voice exerts its acoustic melody with its intonation peculiarities. The vocalist added a texture that required expressiveness, which is a key element to understand the main message of lyrics. Soulful! ”

“В манере исполнения преобладает глубокий вокал, но при этом тембр голоса наделяет акустическую мелодию своими интонационными особенностями. Вокалист придал тексту необходимую ему экспрессию, который бережно заставляет понимать основной посыл текста. ”

The Key Rocks is an independent solo project by Irish Musician and Producer Kevin James Murphy. The Key Rocks applies a low cost, lofi, approach to recording to demonstrate that in this crazy world where there is some much expectation on things being perfect, mad consumerism, and overproduction, that it is possible, without breaking the bank, to get your music out there globally with a little bit of focus and effort. The Key rocks maintains a simple approach. Limited takes, trying to keep the recordings authentic, home-recorded with basic equipment, and with only a limited amount of overdubbed tracks. The songs are written from either a personal or an observational perspective and capture real moments or feelings that I have experienced or observed.

The Line is a song about a moment in time where two people met and had a deeply meaningful experience together. The future was full of promise with a long journey ahead. But for reasons unknown, and due to complications things don’t work out as expected and turn to the worst. If only they had had more time as they crossed a line during their brief time together. If only they had given each other more time . . . . as now it has all turned to dust.

It was recorded in a kitchen in Kuala Lumpur, and kept as simple as possible in line with the simple message in the song.

The Line (acoustic) appears on the album Deja Reve released during 2020.

Alice Pisano – September (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“September is a wonderful reason to pour a cup of hot tea, wrap in a warm plaid and enjoy your favorite music. Piano, which pours the soul in front of his listener is a highlight of this song. The vocals here is not just present, giving life, without this track simply would not had such strong identity.”

“Сентябрь прекрасный повод, чтобы налить чашку горячего чая, закутаться в тёплый плед и насладиться любимой музыкой. Пиано, которое изливает душу перед своим слушателем, является изюминкой этой песни. Вокал здесь не просто присутствует, он является тем, без чего этого трека просто не было бы.”

Her latest heart-tugging single “September” captures the post-sunshine blues, as Alice explains, “I wanted to try and capture that bittersweet feeling that I often get towards the end of summer…and at the same time, the end of love, when you’re trying hard to forget about someone but everyone and everything reminds you of them”. The bittersweet end-of-summer anthem is produced by John Foyle (Years & Years, Maisie Peters) and driven by rich piano motifs and intimate vocals.

Quickly becoming an artist on the rise, there is no slowing down Alice Pisano.

Palmaria – Ocean (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“We'd like to highlight the emotional vocal part, which so perfectly fits with those guitar soundscapes. Colourful sound palette with deep blue, irradiating on the sunny water surface of the vast ocean. True pleasure!”

“Сразу же хочется выделить эмоциональную вокальную составляющую, которая так отлично вписывается в гитарные пейзажи. Красочное полотно, как синяя, переливающаяся на солнце водная гладь бескрайнего океана. Истинное наслаждение!”

-Nagamag.com

Palmaria are an Alt Pop duo from a small town in Italy, currently residing in London. Members Giulia and Francesco have been making a name for their distinctive sound, poetically transporting listeners on a journey of dreamy landscapes and uplifting experiences. Think The xx meets Sylvan Esso, meets Little Dragon on a field trip to the Italian coast.

Their latest single “Ocean” is off of their upcoming EP, Crystallize. Co-written and produced with B-CROMA (Yendry, Fia Moon), the single stays true to their sound of delicate, hypnotizing vocals with a mix of organic sounds and utopian guitars. Taking sonic inspiration from the drums on James Blakes’ “You’re Too Precious”, the duo re-interpreted the sound through Francesco’s classical guitar.

The song is inspired by the legend of Colapesce, the magical story of a man that sacrifices his life on earth, turning into a fish to save his island, but also highlights the problem of the pollution of the ocean. “Ocean” is a call for help. The duo confides, “We wanted to give voice to our frustration; it’s been hurtful to see what is happening, especially growing up in a town almost surrounded by the sea. The ocean has always been such an important element in our lives, inspiring and healing us everytime we were in need, so it’s now our turn, we have to protect it.”

“Ocean” takes you to a surreal, idyllic, safe place, where you can feel free and you can be yourself, inspiring creativity and kindness. In this particular case, kindness towards nature, in a time where it’s pivotal that we stop ignoring the dangers we are already facing and start taking action. The single release sees the duo partnering with OGYRE - an environmental organization that protects oceans and collects plastic waste from the shores, turning it into products.

Palmaria have garnered acclaim from publications such as Complex, The Line of Best Fit and CLASH and have been playlisted by numerous official Spotify and Apple playlists including New Music Friday, Fresh Finds and many more, amassing over 3 million streams across DSPs to date.

The Kid – Fish And Scale (Video)

Categories: Rock, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , |

“Style -Fish And Scale- can be described as the perfect acoustic ballad, with deep, measured and very soulful vocals. A strong song from which goosebumps appear on the body. Music that is satisfying to listen to and leaves a lasting mark on the memory.”

“Стиль -Fish And Scale- можно охарактеризовать как идеальную акустическую балладу, с глубоким, размеренным и очень душевным вокалом. Сильная песня от которой по телу проступают мурашки. Музыка, которая приносит удовлетворение при прослушивании и оставляет весомый след в памяти.”

-Nagamag.com

https://smarturl.it/iwkcwp

The song „The Kid“ is the third video release from the current studio album “ You Can Call Me LOVE“.
„The Kid“ tells the story of a child caught in an undefined pain. We all have this child inside us. From a young age, we unconsciously adopt the belief patterns and thought patterns of family and society and thus lose contact with ourselves. If this early separation from our true personality core is not dissolved, we often take the wrong paths later in life. We stumble and feel like a lone wolf wandering in the depths of the woods, longing for the moon and an unknown home.
The video for the song shows the initially futile search for one’s own identity and the long road back to freedom.

"Written during the pandemic while feeling lonely and missing friends and family, this melancholy song celebrates all the little things I didn't know I missed about being social. Noah Vela – just a kid (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Rock, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“-Just A kid- can become addictive to the very end, as you listen in one breath. The esoteric atmosphere is created primarily due to its depth. It directly adjusts to the desired vibration with its very pleasant melody that is perceived at the subconscious level.”

“-just a kid- завлекает и не отпускает до самого конца, слушается на одном дыхании. Эзотерическая атмосфера создана прежде всего благодаря своей глубине. Настраивает на нужную волну легко и непринуждённо. Очень приятная мелодия, которая воспринимается на подсознательном уровне. ”

-Nagamag.com

This song is just a reminder that everyone was once a kid before we experienced life. Life removes the feeling of being a kid. Trauma changes a person and everyone goes through something traumatic. Overtime we forget who we were and what we could be.

Rasmus Hagen, Maxine – Learn to Love (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Deep poetic romance layered cleanly over a mid-tempo beat, with a snap. This Song has duality ingrained within. Setting the stage for being Wide open and ready for more. ”

-Nagamag.com

Rasmus Hagen is a platinum-selling singer/songwriter and producer from Stockholm, Sweden. Inspired by Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Julia Michaels and Lauv, Hagen’s compelling blend of pop and acoustic soul aims straight to the listener's hearts.

Everything started with weekly guitar lessons at eight years old, playing classic rock songs from The Beatles and The Eagles - which eventually led to starting his first cover band. After a few years of passionately jamming with classmates, he went on an exchange year to the USA and focussed on music theory and classical guitar. During this time, he played in several bands and toured both nationally and internationally, before deciding to start a solo career. In February 2021, he released his debut album Love & Hurt, which was received with glowing reviews and achieved platinum status within just six months.

His latest single “Learn to Love” emits a euphoric feeling wrapped up in a juxtaposed sense of hope and fear. Coming in with Hagen’s haunting, echoing vocals which fall over a tender piano motif, the song also features vocals from Dutch artist Maxine. Her Halsey meets Julia Michaels voice adds to a stunning polarity of tones and perspective, including a phenomenal array of harmonies that result in ultimate full-body shivers. The pop-acoustic feel maintains the raw passion allowing the depth to come through in a highly singable and relatable song. From energised guitar strums and subtle romantic synths, the tune is bursting with feeling and excitement.

The self-produced and engineered track was co-written alongside Swedish songwriter Aron Blom. “Learn to Love” touches on tearing down emotional walls built from a previous relationship and slowly opening up to giving and receiving love again. The single is a story of two people surrendering to love, reminding listeners to be vulnerable and providing comfort when dropping the barriers for romance.

As inspiration for his music, Hagen uses his ups and downs in life and converts his happy or sad moments in his songs. His studio setup was specifically designed to capture these ideas and inspiration in the best possible way. For example, he uses multi-coloured lighting in his studio to steer the song in different directions and trigger certain emotions. “Learn To Love” for instance was written all in blue.

With currently over 120 million streams on Spotify alone, Hagen has been heavily played on commercial radio stations in Sweden as a featured singer on the John De Sohn hit single “Love You Better." He has also worked with incredible artists such as Andrelli, Urban Contact and iamsimon.

Arther Blue – Parallelogram (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Rock, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“A warm summer breeze between soft silky sheets, while embracing your lover. Arther Blue has done it, captured the essence of sensuality on this track. ”

-Nagamag.com

Parallelogram is a haunting folk ballad anchored by sparse guitar movements. Lyrically, Parallelogram is a looping meditation on intimacy. The song admits a deep sense of yearning to fully know and be known by someone, while recognizing the impossibility of truly being one with someone. Nevertheless, Arther celebrates that two lives can run parallel and finds joy in those brief moments of near-total understanding between two lovers. The instrumentals illustrate this theme as well — the guitar shifts between two parallel chords that share no notes in common, yet together evoke a profound sense of bittersweet joy.
