Aroshanti – Angelic Waves

“If you like ambient/drone and essentially beatless music like I do, this song is a perfect fit for you. Loving the atmosphere and Bansuri flute as the lead melodic part that is the heart and soul of the track. Reminded me of Deepak Ram and his style. Beautiful meditation song. ”

“Piano keys with that lo-fi sound, so moody, melancholic, like deep autumn season, when you prefer staying more and more at home with your free time, with many thoughts that comes and goes as the mood shifts. Perfect composition to capture those moments. ”

Elskavon – Copper Hills

“Dark, moody, starting slow, building itself with such a great bass line and filtered vocals. Great synth choices, feels like kraut rock atmosphere, with such a beautiful piano theme, that somehow, it stays hidden, but you can hear and feel it, perfect for a rainy day. ”

“Cold, dark and beautiful. Like a soundtrack to Carpenter’s The Thing, first scenes, intro. Amazing, just amazing, the depth you can hear with this composition. Just love the string and choir arrangement, also reminded me a bit of Craig Armstrong work, this is amazing piece of at. ”

JoyCut – NOVEMBRE13_

Categories: Audio, Neoclassical, Spotify, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , |

“Such a big atmosphere, blurry piano with a beautiful theme, big reverb. Amazing strings part, perfect blend of sounds and then, a huge melancholic lead synth, with a bit of distortion, just an amazing production here, amazing composition. ”

-Nagamag.com

The song grows from calm to the density & energy of sound. It is an instrumental
composition that put the sound of the band between post-rock experimental of
Sigur Ros & Mogwai to ambient and sound-researches of A Winged Victory For the
Sullen & Stars Of The Lid in a world that moves from post-rock to contemporary
sounds with including Ambient and space music.

Christian Cohle – Another Life

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , |

“The future of voice and sound. One connects to the other like tree and root, dependent on the other for substance and both working for a same symbiotic goal. We like that fresh beat and the simplicity of this piece. The synths really wake one up and bring it all together. Its powerful and full of motion. ”

-Nagamag.com

“Another Life to me is about love and time,” Cohle shares. “While making the track itself I had this idea of creating an acapella but pitching, bending and making my voice sound so gnarly and disconnected until it became something else. It allowed me to connect with the song in a really profound way, by getting out of my own way with it. I was also listening to Yves Tumor’s, Safe In The Hands of Love at the time, which I think had a part to play too in inspiring the energy of Another Life.” The video – directed by Tristan Heanue – takes us on a journey of two lovers, and their moments full of devotion, longing, trust, pain and forgiveness.

Jakob Lindhagen – Here, Before

Categories: Audio, Neoclassical, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , |

“Just love the production on this piece, all the details it have, noises, fx, but the heart, the heart is that lush piano with an amazing cello, that is so moving, sad and at the same time full of hope. Amazing how it captures all emotions you can feel at the same time, like a remembrance, images of the past you will have forever.”

Aarktica – Delicate Waltz of Shadows

Categories: Audio, Rock, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Whispering vocals about the struggle most of us have to face in this life, carefully mixed with peaceful acoustic melodies. A philosophical approach of how stronger can become if we pass through difficulties and choose to stand up and fight. Quality music with food for thought too.”

-Nagamag.com

Aarktica’s “Delicate Waltz of Shadows” is a journey through pain, loss, healing, and growth, and captures the non-linear nature of forgiveness in the face of adversity. “I remember, when you were kind / just like yesterday of another lifetime / and the love still flows,” sings Aarktica’s Jon DeRosa, making peace with complicated emotions. A gentle acoustic strum accompanied by subtle electronic soundscapes, the song showcases Aarktica’s prowess in bridging meditative folk and starry-eyed ambient. “The album is about this idea that once we acknowledge certain wounds, weaknesses or unpleasant feelings, and instead of ignoring them, we dive headfirst into the darkness and face everything that is terrifying, there’s at least the possibility (and more so, the likelihood) that we will come out on the other end feeling stronger and more empowered,” says DeRosa on the overall message of his forthcoming album We Will Find The Light, out September 30th via Darla Records.
