“Some kind of pure poetry in its exclusive apogee. There is a burning desire to go somewhere away from the city bustle, escape from the shackles and eventually spend a couple of nights on your favorite beach.”

“Чистая лирика в своём исключительном апогее. Возникает жгучее желание уехать от суеты городских оков куда-нибудь подальше, где будет возможность провести пару ночей на любимом берегу. ”

“Very sturdy material and monolithic design. From its quality sound it's proved that this single is very professional and comes from the heart. Despite the simplicity of the lyrics, the artist can easily produce some strings, which is a huge plus.”

“Весьма крепкий материал и монолитное исполнение. По качественному звуку сразу слышно, что этот совместный сингл сработал от души и крайне профессионально. При кажущейся простоте текста можно с лёгкостью некоторые строки домыслить самому, что является огромным плюсом. ”

Kreem – That Guy (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“The single -That Guy- collected the best tones of indie pop, forming its own spatial universe. This is a hypnotic odyssey that accompanies its listener to all the nooks and crannies of his own mind. Stunning sound palette.”

“Сингл -That Guy- собрал в себе лучшие тона indie pop, сформировав собственную пространственную Вселенную. Это гипнотическая одиссея, которая сопровождает своего слушателя по всем закоулкам собственного разума. Потрясающая звуковая палитра.”

-Nagamag.com

About the song "That Guy" Kreem says: "This song describes the transition into a new phase of my personal life where I was first headed nowhere while being petrified. Through honest introspection I had an epiphany which helped me to start flourishing towards a better version of myself. At the same time, this song moves me as a new musical chapter in which I have found my own true sound without making any concessions for the first time in my life. ” His EP is expected in late 2021.

https://www.instagram.com/kreemmusic/

Songwriter Kreem, Karim ter Veer was 17 when he taught himself to play guitar. For some time, he dedicated his time to composing and producing music for others. During a tough period in his personal life he decided to shift focus on expressing what he was going through by composing his own songs.

One of the projects he worked on earlier was the song “Part of Me” by LittleKings. He wrote this originally for a lemonade brand which quickly generated a viral status with over 16 million streams worldwide.

This autumn, Kreem will be launching his debut EP. With melodic, warm and vibrant songs with a poppy feel, he takes you on a trip through his thoughts and feelings. The tracks are packed with passion and enthusiasm and convey genuine emotional resonance. They are personal and emotional yet filled with vitality and joy of life, making the songs true pick-me-ups.

Inspired by artists such as Gotye, Emily King and Post Malone, his music dynamically blends elements of introverted singer/songwriterand alternative pop with today’s modern in-your-face pop sound. His love for analogue, which he shares with producer Mark van Bruggen, can be heard throughout his music: with the sound of 80’s synthesizers, vintage drum computers and even a ‘singing saw’ Kreem managed to craft his own unique sound.

Rudyb – Into the wild (Video)

“The opening interplay between acoustic & electric guitar continues throughout the song to provide a background for the engaging solo male vocals in the early verses & the sweet harmony female vocals that accompany in later verses. The rest of the band joins in during the pre-chorus builds & throughout each chorus to lift the song even more. Extremely listenable.”

It’s a song about going into the unknown. Acoustic vibes with a deep and sad message as undertone. Going ‘into the wild’ is actually not what most people would think from first listen.

The Remaining Part – Misery – Piano Diaries Session (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Neoclassical, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Taken out from "The Remaining Part" debut album, this piece unites the classical acoustic beauty with inspirational singing. Starting like a fairytale it uncovers a hidden epic power, which travels way back in some mythical era, full of adventure!”

-Nagamag.com

"Misery" is a dreamy, melancholic song about a girls standing on the railway tracks waiting for the train. It’s an attempt to unite something tragic and something beautiful.

Despite the Corona pandemic and the bad situation for the music industry, the Danish/German songwriting trio stayed creative and screwed in their Berlin studio on the perfect piano and vocal sound. With "Piano Diaries" the three songwriters have written a musical diary in pandemic times, in which intimacy and emotion hit the right note.

https://www.instagram.com/the_remaining_part/

About The Remaining Part

"Piano Diaries" is the name of the new album by the band THE REMAINING PART. It will be released on March 29, 2021 as a follow-up LP to the orchestral debut album "Northern Tales" on Edition B+.

Despite the Corona pandemic and the bad situation for the music industry, the Danish/German songwriting trio stayed creative and retreated to their small Berlin studio to rearrange the songs of their debut album. The result is the counterpart to "Northern Tales": instead of opulent instrumentation, they prefer to play one note less and hold one chord longer in their piano versions. You can hear simple, cleverly composed piano arrangements and the solo voices of Sharyhan Osman and Line Bøgh, which sensitively merge with the choir voice of Maxi Menot. Thus, it is mainly quiet melodies, the balanced and nuanced sound of the piano and the spherical choir passages that make the album a melancholic dreamy one.

SMWN – Do Over (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Nobody is perfect, but we can choose to try hard. Who hasn't thought to go back in time and fix some mistakes? The key for improvement is the knowledge that comes from self-evaluation and (why not) the right song to push you in the right direction!”

-Nagamag.com

Meet SMWN (pronounced 'someone') the new creative project of viral artist Prince Fox, known for working alongside household names like Hailee Steinfeld, Bella Thorne, Quinn XCII, YG, Ella Vos and more. From Rick Rubin tweeting his remix of Florence and the Machine, to being the number one artist on Billboard's Emerging Artists list, Prince Fox has seen quite a remarkable few years. Now SMWN has rebranded and branched out of the 'dance drops' he's known for in his past releases to release music with a message.

https://www.instagram.com/smwnsongs/

The upcoming "Do Over" is a contagious pop track which follows the release of SMWN's successful debut track "Somebody Else," which set the tone for the new project.

In "Do Over" a viral bass-line ushers you in, complimented by flawless electronic production and SMWN's distinct pop vocals. On the narrative front, SMWN reflects on all the times he wishes he could get a 'do over.' The relatable "I wanna be someone better, can I go back in time," rings loud and clear and is an ode to existence and the inevitable mistakes we make. It's one thing to say we'll do better but action is where the truth lies.

https://twitter.com/smwnsongs

On the single SMWN adds "When I wrote "Do Over" I was thinking about how even if I told my younger self what I know now, I would have made the same mistakes. I wouldn't be the person I am today without those road bumps, so those road bumps HAD to happen. The writing became this very circular idea of a self-fulfilling prophecy–every time I messed up and wanted a do over, the same thing would happen again. All this to say, all we can really change is our future, based on our past actions, we can not change the past itself."

The New York-born and bred Sam Lassner first picked up a guitar at the age of seven but quickly gave it up for life on the ice rink. "It wasn't until I was 13 that I picked it back up and caught the bug," he shares. Lassner went on to study music at NYU where his Prince Fox project was born in his dorm room at Lafayette Hall. The Prince Fox project opened several doors for Lassner and led to collaborations with several notable artists shaping the type of artist he strives to emulate.

SMWN is a culmination of those experiences, lessons, and growth as an artist. Lassner puts his best foot forward with his SMWN project which is teed up to quickly eclipse that of Prince Fox in the years to come.

Jax Anderson, K.Flay – I Don’t Care Anymore (Video)

“This work is insanely creative and full of positive energy. -I Do not Care Anymore- Basically having affections from indie & lo-fi pop and demonstrating quality humor by -Jax Anderson and K.Flay-.”

“Безумно креативная работа наполненная позитивной энергией. -I Don’t Care Anymore- вереница из таких удачных звеньев, как indie & lo-fi pop и качественный юмор от исполнителей -Jax Anderson и K.Flay-.”

-Nagamag.com

Today, newfound friends Jax Anderson and K.Flay team up for their self-empowerment track “I Don’t Care Anymore”, released via Jax’ label Neon Gold Records HERE.

https://stem.ffm.to/idontcareanymore%C2%A0

Jax started the song as a demo on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@jaxandersonmusic/video/6938879468085857542 where it tracked 400,000 views and proved to be an undeniably relatable bop. She decided to invite K.Flay along into the studio, as well as producer Tommy English, to bring the song to life while creating an important dialogue at the same time.

Jax says: “Someone commented recently that I Don’t Care Anymore is a song about nihilistic optimism & I’d say they’re totally right. I’m saying “nothing matters, but isn’t it freeing?” It’s my way of fully accepting who I am & rejecting any standards that I’ve learned to carry. It’s incredible how freeing life is when you choose not to give a fuck, right? All I can do is live as myself, truly & fully & it’s been awesome.”

K.Flay adds: “This collaboration came about totally organically. Jax posted an early version of the song on TikTok, people loved it, and a bunch of folks commented that I should feature on the track. So we made it happen! The lyrics really resonated with me. For anyone who’s felt like an outsider, you eventually reach a point where you actually stop caring what other people think. And you embrace yourself with a newfound sense of confidence and swagger and kindness. To me, that’s what this song is all about.”

Jax Anderson, who changed from her Flint Eastwood moniker to her real name, has built a reputation for writing alt-pop anthems that boldly speak to overcoming the forces in the world that try and keep us from loving ourselves and actualizing our full potential.

About K.Flay: The Chicago-born K.Flay’s near-undefinable amalgamation of dark-electro soundscapes, art-pop sensibilities, spitfire rhymes, industrial rock backbone and versatile chameleon-like vocals has led the songwriter/artist/multi-instrumentalist to two GRAMMY nominations (Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for ‘Every Where Is Some Where’, and Best Rock Song for “Blood in the Cut”), tours alongside Grouplove, Imagine Dragons & Thirty Seconds To Mars, and festival spots at ACL Fest, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Treefort, and Riot Fest. She most recently dropped her ‘Don’t Judge A Song By Its Cover’ EP via BMG in December where her transportive musicality takes a blindsiding trifecta of 90s rock staples (Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff”, Green Day’s “Brain Stew” and The Offspring’s “Self Esteem”) and reimagines them into another dimension.

Bjorn Rydhog – I Don’t Wanna Be Alone (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Blogwave, Blogwave Features, Features, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“There are moments we feel boredom and loneliness in a totally decaying world. This is the right time to pick some fine music and give ourselves a breath of hope. Bjorn Rydhog is here to offer his best work for this purpose. Don't miss his new single "I Don't Wanna Be Alone".”

-Nagamag.com

Together with producer Johan Sigerud (JRSS) and co-writer Olof Gråhamn, Bjorn Rydhog continues to take his melodic indie pop into an electronic and beat-based realm. Melancholic progressions are blended with a modern retro sound inspired by M83 and The Weeknd. A logical continuation of their previous collaboration, the single ‘Just to Be with You’, which was released in 2020 and was picked up by Swedish radio.

"The single ‘I Don’t Wanna Be Alone’ shows an electronic direction I’m currently exploring. The tracks of the song were recorded separately at our different homes. I guess the creation process, as well as the theme of the song, reflect the distant and lonely, but also creative times we currently live in”.

The Tame and the Wild – We Lost More Than A Battle (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , , |

“How many times have we been in trouble, ready to give up, but found the courage to go on instead? We may have lost more than a battle but continue to fight. This is the message of “The Tame and the Wild” via their light and charming Folktronica song.”

-Nagamag.com

This song is about accepting the fate of relationships. When it comes to a end there are always losses on both sides. And even if you’re down and burned to the ground, you’ll eventually get back on your feet, you just have to follow the light. The Tame and the Wild lyrics are like polaroids: snippets of real life situations, moments or feelings, condensed to the length of a song. This is the second of a four-song project called „We Lost More Than A Battle“.

https://www.instagram.com/thetameandthewild

The Tame and the Wild is a nostalgic-indie-folk band around the singer-songwriter duo Seja & Flëpp. Its music drives with vocals exploring human emotions among the natural world, sea and stars, youth and age, resiliency and love, boldness and resignation, honesty and memory. The songs urge one to touch those personal situations that are set in and often so tightly bound to nature. The Tame and the Wild see their influences in the sounds of bands such as Daughter, Angus & Julia Stone, Kodaline, Boy or Feist.
