Baby, Come As You Were – Jasmine Tea

Lyrics of Jasmine Tea – Baby, Come As You Were

Well, it’s been five hard years. Feelings are scarred over, now. I crawled from Jesus to the desert trying to pick up the pieces.
Can’t make them fit no how.
And now you’re back in town.
I hear you’ve got some things that you want to share
I’ve got some thoughts of my own about you coming back home. Might as well lay them all bare. Come as you were. Come as you were. I need the same old girl that I used to love. So if you’re coming back baby, baby come as you were. No need to bend and cry. We’ve always always had a spot for you here.
It’s yours if you want it but the price tag that’s on it Will set you back a couple of years. Come as you were. You’ve got to come as you were
Don’t need you new and improved, in fact I would prefer. If you’re coming back baby, baby come as you were.
