Release Critique: Dan Olsen – Milestones | Pop Review

Music Review:

Lyrics of Dan Olsen – Milestones

One day I will see my name in shining lights
One day I will finally say I know
And some days that’s the only thing that keeps me right

Turning unknowns into milestones
I’m still riding
Miles roll into milestones
I keep driving
To my highest potential
And fuel my fire

In some ways I don’t mind calling this road my home
I see new ways of life in every crowd, from town to town
Shared a truth with a stranger’s eyes before a show
We passed like trains at night and waved goodbye, until next time

And I look back
Back to that old crossroads
And I give thanks
To that kid who wanted for something more

Turning unknowns into milestones
I’m still riding
Miles roll into milestones
I keep driving
To my highest potential
And fuel my fire

Isn’t it ironic how you find yourself by getting lost
Sometimes even logic bows to time and the lines that we cross
Isn’t it ironic how you find yourself by getting lost
Sometimes even logic bows to time and the lines that we cross

Turning unknowns into milestones
I’m still riding
Miles roll into milestones
I keep driving

Turning unknowns into milestones
I keep riding
Miles roll into milestones
I keep driving
To my highest potential
And fuel my fire
Nothing to lose but my fire
I’m coming through like fire
