Lyrics of Blake Stokes – Needing Me Now

Things change
People grow up and they grow apart
Lose faith
And dive right into someone else’s arms

You could’ve gave it a chance
I had my heart in your hands
Never told me the plan
No, oh

Is he everything you wanted, can he love you the same?
Does he promise you forever, while he’s taking my place?
Took one night for you to take back all the things we would say
Tell me what that’s all about
Why aren’t you needing me now?

Woah, woah
Woah, woah
Woah, woah

Sometimes you give it your all but it’s just not enough
Sometimes you gotta bring hell onto someone you love
But if you’re having regrets don’t call me to get you
Been trying to get well but goddamn it’s too
Hard to be fine but I’ll never be
No I’ll never be with you gone

Woah, woah
Woah, woah
Woah, woah
Why aren’t you needing me now?
