“Everyman Parker” by Richard X Bennett x Matt Parker | Jazz Review

“On “Everyman Parker,” Richard X Bennett and Matt Parker embrace a lighthearted, almost disarming sense of cheerfulness, without letting the melody sink into easy nostalgia. The saxophone unfolds with playful confidence, lending the track a lively, slightly mischievous edge. Rhythmic shifts keep the piece in constant motion, as if flirting with the idea of an impromptu dance. This is music that doesn’t demand our attention but manages to win it anyway, turning relaxation into a small, unexpected celebration.”
