Scoobert Doobert is on the up both as an artist and producer. He recently produced CHAI’s latest single ‘WHOLE” which is the theme song for the comedy-drama series “Koi-senu Futari” on the NHK network in Japan, released on Sony Japan / Sub Pop. He is also one of the remix artists on CHAI’s “Wink Together EP” to be released in February. Within the last month Scoobert Doobert has been in Pitchfork, NME, Paste Magazine, The Fader, among others. His previous single "a song to quit your job to" released on January 7 was included on Spotify's official playlists Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Pop, and Indie Brandneu.

His new single, Let’s Move to the Top of a Mountain, released on Beformer Records, is a feel good nod to joyful living with a vast view, wrapped in a breazy pop hug.

Rivita to release new song 那Nà就Jiù抱Bào抱Bào我Wǒ on January 28th 2022 for the celebration of Chinese New Year.

Rivita shared “When I first wrote this song it was called “Safe Safe”. While producing the song, I played it to my friend who is Chinese and we somehow ended up translating it and the lyrics became 那就抱抱我 (Nà jiù bào bào wǒ) which means “hug me” which is exactly what I was going for! For many years, I thought about what is the meaning of love and with this song, I think I’ve finally found the answer!”

Rivita visited China in 2016 with her parents and has been inspired by the country ever since; it was a dream come true to make a song with lyrics in Mandarin for her.

Bass was played by Paul Tornbohm who was Rivita’s classmate in London while she pursued a Masters in Composition, the song was mastered at Lurssen studio in Los Angeles by Reuben Cohen. The song was produced and mixed by Rivita herself, and the Artwork was created by Chinese artist Chang William Wang.

Scottish singer-songwriter Natalie Clark, who has reaped plaudits from Virgin’s Richard Branson and BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw was selected as a Mercedes Benz KTLA “Artist to Watch” after moving to the US. Natalie was featured in the Mercedes Benz commercial campaign which also included performances at the famous Roxy on Sunset, and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. She was handpicked to open for the Grammy award winning Indigo Girls tour and has been recording in L.A when not busy touring the US. Natalie received acclaim from multi-platinum artists such as Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton when she appeared on NBC’s The Voice, who praised her voice as ‘cool and powerful’ and ‘incredible’.

Since moving to the States, Natalie has opened festivals, toured the country, and was recently named a ‘Hot 100 Live Artist’ in Music Connection Magazine. Speaking about the track Dominique says, “This track was one of the first songs I ever wrote! I believe I was around 8 years old. I took inspiration from the things around me: this was church and Adele. I had always found myself drawn to music and found myself sitting at our piano at home trying to create melodies by ear. The song is an unrequited love song with biblical imagery, perfectly stemming from my inspiration! Obviously as the years have gone on I have done a lot of changes to the song; maturing the lyrics and making it into a song people will enjoy! It is such a joy to know this song is coming out to the public, younger Dominique would have been so proud.”

Dominique Simone's soulful vocals and velvety tone are what sets her apart as one to watch in 2021. Citing Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas and Kiana Ledé as her biggest influences, Dominique commands her own distinctive sound, effortlessly blending elements of neo-soul, R&B and alt-pop.
