Rising London musician / producer Meelo is poised to announce a brand new release with the arrival of ‘Reflets’, lifted from the forthcoming debut EP ‘Movement 1’ due this April.

Accompanied by a visually stunning choreographed concept video, ‘Reflets’ transcends into a new era, exploring the intricacies of sound, anchored by an emotional, meditative core. Meelo says: “My music explores a deep commitment to the values of introspection, self discovery and healing. We’ve all felt that strange mix of thrill and fear when we’re on the cusp of making a breakthrough, fearing it precisely because it is still in the unknown. Reflet dives into that feeling with a mix of shimmer and depth, unrelenting rhythm.”

When Meelo was well into his career as a touring session player and music therapist, (playing for the likes of Goya Gumbani and Tertia May), he was forced to stop everything on a fateful day when the front wheel of his bike jammed and he broke his arm. Shut away and unable to play he took some time for himself, his production skills and poetry; applying that to his already strong songwriting and compositional abilities he began to build an EP that represented this moment of self-contemplation.

It took another fateful moment to accelerate the project when Meelo met Frankie Mami, international Dj and production engineer master. Sat at the back of a session in Frankie’s studio Meelo slipped in and spun a track he was working on called “Gatto”; Frankie’s ears pricked up, and with a knowing smile the two of them recognised something special. Frankie’s enthusiasm, refined expertise and invaluable guidance propelled the project to new levels and kickstarted a beautiful friendship built on mutual respect and sharing.

Movement 1 is joyous, and at times despairing but loaded with the momentum and power that comes with exploring one’s self. It’s the result of years of the artist trying to find his way, releasing the fears of the past and ultimately finding his voice. Ambitious in his genre-spanning scope and fiercely committed to the redemptive quality of music, Meelo’s story can be heard and felt on every note of his debut EP.

Adem Dalipi is a blues-influenced Pop/RnB artist and producer, in the style of John Mayer, Charlie Puth, and Shawn Mendes, and recently became a Yamaha Guitar Ambassador. After attending the 2015 Chicago Blues Fest, Dalipi became enthralled with the blues and was particularly moved by Buddy Guy’s rain-soaked yet blistering performance. After the set, Dalipi took it upon himself to study the blues genre and some of the greats.

In 2019, he caught the attention of a producer from American Idol and was invited to audition for the long-running television series. Dalipi impressed the judges throughout the audition process and was even awarded the Golden Ticket to Hollywood week, where he met other artists and performed in front of Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry.

Dalipi’s talent and vision have landed him features on Cleveland.com, the Daily Herald, Good Day Stateline, Chicago SoundCheck, and was even a Featured Artist on the Chicago Music Guide, just to name a few. LA-based pop artist Tory Floyd released her bright, R&B-inspired single, “As It Is,” on February 4. Working alongside her brother Preston (aka Press Tone) of Press Tone Productions, the song came to life almost instantly. The track, interestingly enough, started out with the goal of Julia Michaels cutting it for NBC’s Songland. Luckily for Floyd, the song eventually fell back into her lap, which allowed them to transform it into her signature style of soulful, R&B infused pop.

Although “As It Is” went on a quite unique journey to become what it is today, the message behind it always remained the same. “I’m someone who has struggled with the internal battle of anxiety and comparison,” says Floyd. “It doesn’t accept the state of paralysis we put ourselves in, waiting for an idyllic world and the chance to wish on the right star.” The single takes a lighthearted approach to this issue, allowing listeners to feel safe in accepting their habits of comparison and begin working towards positive change. “As It Is” welcomes the desire to live and the love life you’re given. “We’ll still have moments of weakness, we’re human, but we’re able to re-center ourselves much faster on this one,” says Floyd. “It refuses to accept the paralysis we bring upon ourselves waiting on an idyllic world if we could just wish on the right star.”

Phe R.E.D.S makes his return with new single, “Closer,” featuring fellow Seattle artist Catch24. Released today via H1GHR MUSIC, the R&B number captures the push and pull of a budding relationship. Written to mirror a conversation, “Closer” is the mix of emotions that comes with feeling out a crush and deciding where things stand. While Phe R.E.D.S offers the perspective of someone who is cautious and guarded after previous heartbreak and disappointment, Catch24 voices taking that leap of faith. The track is produced by label mate and close collaborator Cha Cha Malone and it is the teaser to a larger Phe R.E.D.S’ project release that’s in the pipeline for later this year.

Leng Phe, who goes by the stage name of Phe R.E.D.S, is a Cambodian-Chinese American music artist. He is signed to H1GHR MUSIC, an unconventional independent record label that focuses on unique talents from Seoul and Seattle. Discovered by founder Jay Park through Seattle’s local hip hop and break dancing scene, Phe R.E.D.S initially got into music because he didn’t see many who looked like him making music. His name, which is a combination of his surname and an acronym for “remember every dream stolen,” pays homage to his family, who were refugees from Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge. It serves as a reminder to discover one’s dreams and live them out for those who didn’t make it, in addition to striving to break generational curses. “I think I’m unique in the sense that I’m Cambodian-Chinese, signed to a Korean label, and pushing my music in America,” he shared. Since his debut with the single, “Smile,” in 2017, Phe R.E.D.S has released a string of records, including “Love On You” (Prod. GRAY), “Your Hands” (Feat. Jay Park) (Prod. GRAY), “Way 2 You” (Prod.
