Kadebostany, Valeria Stoica – Wild in Secret (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , |

“Kadebostany and Valeria Stoica have both put their creativity in this Indie Electronic candy. Light harmonic sound mix, which captivated our mind along with that etherial singing voice. Music with attitude that leaves its sign on almost every listener.”

-Nagamag.com

Kadebostany strikes again with another audacious single, the timeless and sophisticated pop anthem “Wild in Secret”.

With its moving songwriting, meticulous electric beats, twisted folk melodies and bewitched whispering vocals, “Wild in Secret” bridges the gap between folk and modern electronic music, with a feeling of “crying with a smile”, as best described by its creator.

Architect of future pop and creator of many chart-topping singles, the singular hit producer/composer Guillaume de Kadebostany joins forces once again with singer Valeria Stoica. “Wild in Secret” is the follow-up to the much acclaimed single “Take Me To The Moon” released earlier in 2021, which rapidly conquered both the radio charts and fans.

During a late-night recording session last summer, the magic operated again and “Wild in Secret” was born. The result is both spontaneous and unpredictable, and highlights once again Kadebostany's acclaimed mastery of modern pop.

Supported by a dreamscape of stunning visuals, “Wild in Secret” is another major contribution to the Kadebostany legacy.

“An enticing midtempo beat with lounge overtones. Her layered voice is produced well so each one enhances the other. A bit on the darker funky side, we dig the classy claps. Satisfaction is served from an interesting angle. ”

Nervous City Nervous Self – Moving to Moscow (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Blogwave, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“A midtempo journey into a poetic expression. Evident 80s influences sound clear on this track. We enjoyed the piano and the echoed voice. ”

-Nagamag.com

In Moving to Moscow Swedish singer/songwriter Nervous City Nervous Self envokes the longing for purpose and meaning once envisioned by Irina in Anton Chekhov´s play Three sisters. In a famous scene Irina laments over the loss of vision and grandeur in the rural country life in a Russia of yesteryears. The dreams, the real life awaits them all in Moscow, while she is stuck in a g-d-forgotten place, with a stifling job as a telegraph clerk. And while our dreams fade away our lives moves on with a brutal pace, and soon our grand wishes for the future are replaced with a longing for the past, and that is the home for notions like nostalgia and melancholy. And that is also the natural habitat for the worker in song.

Nervous City Nervous Self is a nomadic and nostalgic one-man band from Stockholm, Sweden.

XHOANA X – The Villain (Video)

Categories: Features, Pop, Pop Features, The Latest, Video|Tags: , |

“Enjoy the lung melody, angelic singing and an interesting selection of chords. The bold rhythm section, which seems to be dug in your brain, and dramatism allocated on a general background adds energy and lush atmosphere to the already bright work!”

“Наслаждаетесь лёгкой мелодией, ангельским пением и интересным подбором аккордов. Дерзкая ритм-секция, которая словно впивается в ваш мозг, а ярко выделяющийся на общем фоне драматизм лишь добавляет и в без того яркую работу долю энергии и пышной атмосферы!”

-Nagamag.com

Albanian born XHOANA X takes her dark, Eastern European heritage very seriously. From an upbringing of one of the most tolerant spiritual cultures in the world, comes a unique style of art, with a mixture of freedom, rebellion and heroism.

The relaxed form of culture from Albania is the driving force here. You are in the darkest little corner of your room. And yet, this is where you find that you are most comfortable. Although perhaps you also find yourself a bit surprised at the ease in which you exist here.

The unexpected seems natural.

The rich enthralling darkness is the vibe.

Following in the footsteps of early musical influences the likes of Massive Attack and ‪Portishead, XHOANA’s music takes us on a spellbinding journey, as if we are preparing for a series of pagan rituals based on mystical beliefs.

Make no question here, she is the high priestess, and in full control of the ritual. The journey is a web in which we are caught, but you’ll find it hard to turn your ears away. You are trapped in a web of intrigue and sensuality while a neo noir movie plays in your head.

Her look and fashion is no less captivating, additionally filled with occasional David Lynch-esque twists and turns. Although her main ambition has always been on developing her musical recording career, XHOANA has also worked both as an actress, influencer, and model.
