“Dubby Basslines with awesome atmospheric Strings and Dreamy sequences. Saafi brothers delivers a gateway to another musical psychedelic experience. Packed with percussion and great sound design ”

Make Pictures With The Sound’ is the brand new album by the Saafi Brothers on UK label Liquid Sound Design.

The release title is inspired by a quote from legendary British music producer John Leckie, who lends his voice on opening track ‘Beautiful Satellite’. With this album the Saafi Brothers do just that; make pictures with the sound, taking us on a breathtaking journey through their universe of sound, spiralling out from their deep roots in the Psychedelic Dub genre.

Keeping alive the Saafi Brothers’ reputation for chilled out eclecticism, the musical and emotional range for which they are renowned is very much in evidence here. From the rainforest tinged Dub Funk of ‘Ritualized Space’, through the epic deep Techno Sci-Fi soundscape of ‘In Far Away Places’ to the wigged out Acid House of ‘The Possibility of Change’, the album has much to offer for any connoisseur of contemporary Electronica.’

The song blends a deep house groove and sonics with an underground pop vocal reminiscent of the Weeknd except with a British accent. The clever lyrics are an edgy, acerbic take on social media in our daily lives, using irony to get the point across while staying cool and without being preachy. Henry Dell's first solo release after gaining over 5 million plays as a featured vocalist on deep house records, which have been released on well known dance labels and have gained good editorial support on Spotify.

Flashback is the debut single from Carasel’s sophomore album ‘Dreams Of Paradise’ which is dropping later this year. The album is an explosive showcase of the Bristol Emcee’s lyrical ability traversed across a soundscape of A-list producers, achieving what we believe could be a nod for hip-hop album of the year.

Flashback has been produced by long time friend and collaborator Crissy Criss, better known for his earth shattering Drum and Bass tracks & his year stint as tastemaker on BBC 1xtra. Crissy steps up with a nostalgic pounding boom bap beat that feels straight out of the New York golden era. Carasel starts the track by exclaiming ‘Damn Crissy this is giving me Flashbacks!’ and the scene is set as he bounces around melody delivering nostalgic odes to his inspirations and what gave him that spark to do music in the first place.

The clever hook subtly switches each time with a different reference of communication and musical formats starting with landline phones and walkmans and progressing to Whatsapp and Wav files at the finale whilst delivering numerous flashbacks to pop references from days gone by. The track is then enhanced further by Crissys intricate sound fx that take you back to that moment in time.

The track is backed up by a phenomenal music video shot and directed by Joshua Perret and we have never see anything like it. Debuting on SBTV (tbc) shortly after release the videohasis a moving animated paper mache effect which collages items, media and nods to Carasel’s musical upbringing. Dreams Of Paradise releases 25thFeb.

"Wrote this while medicating in the studio, once the beat's jazzy vibrancies and sexy appeal hit me, it felt like the perfect song to release after my previous single called ''On a Trip'' which also runs for 3:33' for contrast.

The song hopes to bring the audience in a flow that resonates with the listener through the artist's introspective lyricism while providing a dreamy setting where one's imagination can run wild, whether its for relaxing, creating or simply being in your bedroom where a neon vibe would enhance your experience.

Mercury XII is an independent artist in his early 20s from Cyprus with a primary focus on a mix of modern experimentation with the hip-hop rap genre, often accompanied by light psychedelic visuals or sounds."
