“Jack Keyes keeps us nice company with his new single "Nowhere". Pleasant chords of acoustic guitar fill the air of light vibrations. Another Folk candy, ideal to listen at home while lying comfortably on your sofa.”

"Nowhere" is a song about trying to find belonging and peace with who you are. The track was recorded in a spontaneous session with Paul Kintzing (German Error Message) in Nashville. The track lulls you in with a reflective, subtle beginning and then burgeons into a larger sound, with layers of organ and drums underneath hushed vocals.

Chop Clark, F.L. – Super Healthy (feat. F.L.) (Spotify)

“Based on an old classic, this new Hip-Hop banger is ready to explode like dynamite. It's time to sit comfortably and adjust the volume level. Prepare to feel the wrath of "Super Healthy" and recharge your energy.”

-Nagamag.com

Chop Clark pays tribute to a Ghostface Killah classic with his banger of a new single, “Super Healthy,” featuring guest emcee F.L. and production from frequent collaborator Frank Dutch.

It’s Dutch who sets the tone on here with a dope flip of The Sylvers’ “Wish That I Could Talk to You,” the same track that Mathematics flipped years ago on Ghostface’s “Mighty Healthy” off Supreme Clientele. And in Dutch’s hands, it has a more modern, trunk-rattling sound to it—without losing the grit or fiery essence of the original.

Likewise, Chop and F.L. use their verses to spit time-tested flows about the bullsh*t they face in today’s world. Chief among them? The police, who can’t seem to leave either emcee alone. As Chop raps in his opening verse: “I’m feelin’ like, man, fck DPD/ These crooked-ass cops ain’t gonna DP me/ Gotta see-see, y’all not gon’ Philando me/ No drugs in the whip, you can’t bando me.”

“Super Healthy” is available now through all digital retailers and streaming platforms through Chop’s own Chopworks Media imprint via EMPIRE.

“Wanna Be With You” is the first beautiful soft spoken single by the young singer-songwriter. As a part of The international EOK Project Musical collective.

“Wanna Be With You is about that feeling of wanting to be with someone but life keeps getting in the way”. Says Lei.

“Much uncertainty and ever growing obstacles make the romanticism feel like an unrealistic fairy-tale. Even though you know the pain of a heart break, you still allow yourself to fall hard and dive deep into the unknown. You can’t help yourself but take the chance. But no matter what happens, that one special person will always be apart of you.”

“Delicious bass line and skillful programming of the rhythm machines. Throw in some loops of captivating voices and set the tone for an outing to the stars! ”

-Nagamag.com

"French electronic duo Angara bring their undeniably groovy sound to Colorize with an outstanding first release that sees them continue to explore a more house-focused, danceable sound compared to the chill sonics that they started out with in 2018. On 'Prove / No Freedom' they weave together hypnotic rhythms, throbbing bass, mesmerising synths and tight percussion to create a cohesive and well-rounded sound. It's a breathtaking project from Angara who make their mark on Colorize in style."

Taken as a whole, the album’s four tracks, Abro (“I Open”), Creo (“I Believe” or “I Create”), Sano (“I Heal”), Amo (“I Love”) encourage sensitive receptivity. Eternia & Rel McCoy – Wonderful World (Video)

Categories: Rap, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , |

“Modern beats we dig set the tone to her skillful word play. Message is strong and mind opening. Hip Hop of the future we are here. ”

-Nagamag.com

Eternia & Rel McCoy put modern technology on blast in their gripping new video for “Wonderful World,” which serves as a sharply written observation of the very real impact of smartphones and social media in our daily lives.

As Eternia explains, the track stems from ongoing conversations she’s had about the role of tech in the world and how it affects everyone—especially younger people. That feeling is captured perfectly by Mark Carrenceja of Noisemaker Media, who also directed the video for lead single “Most PPL.” He utilizes a similar, stripped-down approach here with “Wonderful World,” though it’s a bleaker setting that fits the feeling and themes in the lyrics.

“The video takes place on a rooftop setting and conjures up the feeling of an isolated, dystopian wasteland,” Eternia says, adding that Rel’s production sounds like a frantic ode to modern tech. “It’s kind of like where the virtual world leaves us, symbolically, time and time again.”

Check out the visuals and go support the duo’s recently released collaborative album, FREE available now through all major DSPs and vinyl in a limited butterscotch color configuration, via Fat Beats.
