17-year-old singer-songwriter Silva Emilia will release her debut single What if we could fly on Wednesday, September 14th, and will surely become one of the most interesting new artists in Finland. The soulful and melancholic folk gem takes you to fairytale landscapes and bubbling possibilities, and creates a gentle, captivating atmosphere. Silva Emilia’s warm vocals and timeless songwriting skills are something that is rarely heard in these latitudes.

Silva Emilia, who wrote her first own songs at the age of 13, loves performing and can easily turn everyday situations into her own little show. She has gotten in front of the public by playing, singing, dancing and acting. She started playing the violin at the music school when she was 7 years old and later taught herself to play the piano and guitar as well. At the moment, Silva Emilia is focusing on making new songs in addition to her high school studies. On the debut single, she plays the piano, violin and guitar parts herself
