“Lazy” by Emily Sara | Pop Song Review

Lyrics of Emily Sara – Lazy

Mama always told me that you gotta work harder
Make each hour count and put your best foot forward
Think I might’ve taken it a little too far though
I’m never good enough
Not even for myself

Some people let it all go
Do what they want when they want it
I could never
Let myself lose control
I’m pulling at threads
Burning both ends
But I’ll admit it
I kinda like hustling
Losing myself in the grind again
Don’t how to be lazy
So you can count on me

I stay on my toes I’m like a ballerina
Smiling through it all I’m such a people pleaser
Eldest daughter, I got good at carrying your needs
I’ve got stamina, put it all on me

Some people let it all go
Do what they want when they want it
I could never
Let myself lose control
I’m pulling at threads
Burning both ends
But I’ll admit it
I kinda like hustling
Losing myself in the grind again
Don’t how to be lazy
So you can count on me

It might be problematic
I can’t take breaks or else I’ll panic
Trying to find my balance
In the plane crash

Some people let it all go
Do what they want when they want it
I could never
Let myself lose control
I’m pulling at threads
Burning both ends
But I’ll admit it
I kinda like hustling
Losing myself in the grind again
Don’t how to be lazy
So you can count on me
