Release Review: Roger D’Arcy – These Tales Are Crooked | Rock Music

Music Review:

“Το These Tales Are Crooked του Roger D’Arcy ξεδιπλώνεται σαν μια ιστορία που αρνείται να ειπωθεί ευθύγραμμα.

Lyrics of Roger D’Arcy – These Tales Are Crooked

The lines are bent, my truth is bowed
I’ll tell you things you should not know
Come closer
These tales are crooked

I tell it one way then another
I clean it up to tell my mother
Come closer
These tales are crooked

Get a little closer

You know you’ve heard it all before
You keep on coming back for more
Come closer
These tales are crooked

Some deeper plots remain unlatched
The surfaces are barely scratched
Come closer
These tales are crooked

Get a little closer

Ah, these crooked tales
You weren’t there
So you don’t know
It’s just the way I tell it
Ah, these crooked tales
You weren’t there
So you don’t care at all

And I can spin it anyway I choose
I can spin it any way I choose

The obvious becomes obscured
Depends upon my mood du jour
Come closer
These tales are crooked

Webs get tangled, weaves come loose
Sorry, you don’t get to choose
Come closer
These tales are crooked

Get a little closer

Ah, these crooked tales
You weren’t there
So you don’t know
It’s just the way I tell it
Ah, these crooked tales
You weren’t there
So you don’t care at all

And I can spin it anyway I choose
I can spin it any way I choose
