Youmans’s forthcoming EP, Electric Love Connection, is set to launch him into an exciting new era. While his 2016 debut EP, Make Things Right, pulled inspiration from more retro themes, this new voyage leans heavily into progressive disco, house, and pop notes. Within its first month of release, “DANSE” got signed into a licensing deal and made waves on the international stage, playing on radio stations across Europe and Central America. Now, “Too Close” is poised to make an even bigger mark.
The new EP marks the beginning of an exciting new collaboration with LA-based artist, producer, and close friend Daniel Bayot. The first two singles feature musical contributions from Hannah Glass and Colin Deas, as well as art direction by Aaron Cassou. Although Youmans previously recorded, produced and released his own music, this new team has allowed for the exploration of new sounds and the discovery of new horizons. Electric Love Connection is Youmans’s most advanced iteration of his creative self to date.
