“Kenyan producer Eric Ananda, in collaboration with Agnelo Do Rego and MAC, acquaint us with his new creation My Type. An excellent example of a commercial sound and producing competent when each sound element in place.”

“Кенийский продюсер Eric Ananda, в соавторстве с Agnelo Do Rego и MAC, знакомят нас со своим новым творением My Type. Отличный пример коммерческого звучания и грамотного продюсирования, когда каждый звуковой элемент на своём месте. ”

My Type is the first single from my upcoming project. We wrote the song about when someone catches your eye and you sense a connection “a vibe” and you try to get their attention but it’s like you don’t exist to them at all, so you try again hoping the second time round they might. We also felt it was the right time to release the song as Valentines day is around the corner and hopefully the song could inspire someone to ask someone to be their Valentine.

Zenon Marko – Hope (Video)

Categories: Neoclassical, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , |

“Hope is very fragile and difficult to comprehend a thing than faith. Without faith a man can live forever, but not human life. Without hope he dies. Zenon Marko in its new composition Hope helped us once again to reflect on the importance of life.”

“Надежда очень хрупкая и трудная для осознания вещь, чем вера. Без веры человек может жить вечно, но не человеческой жизнью. Без надежды он погибает и вовсе. Zenon Marko в своей новой композиции Hope помог нам в очередной раз задуматься о важности бытия.”

-Nagamag.com

“Hope” is the first single from the new album “Morning Star”. “Morning Star” consists of works composed by Zenon Marko in the immediate aftermath of his mother’s death. These intentionally simple pieces were written as tribute, as meditations, as expressions of the diversity of emotions, reactions, thoughts, memories, hopes and fears that follow upon such a loss. The hope is that others who have experienced loss will feel an echo, a recognition, and perhaps find solace, within this music. All the pieces are at a tempo of 60 beats per minute, the rhythm of the second hand of a clock, to express the sense of time passing, inevitability and transience.

Lola Lennox – La La Love Me (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , , |

“Unpredictable, pure vintage sensation in the year 2021! A pleasant surprise from Lola Lennox bringing you a huge wave of love and happiness. Highly recommended for the Retro Soul fans around.”

-Nagamag.com

Friday 29th January, London, UK – Singer, songwriter and musician, Lola Lennox releases the accompanying music video for her current single “La La Love Me” today.

The music video’s release follows hot on the heels of “La La Love Me” being the most played record on Radio 2 earlier this month and it entering the Top 10 of the UK Radio Airplay Charts.

The accompanying music video for Lola’s “La La Love Me” is directed by her childhood friend, British photographer and director, Grace Pickering (Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Calvin Harris, Tyler The Creator). It follows Lola around a house while she lives out a daydream, inviting the viewer to join her in a celebration of life, love and colourful fantasy. The video climaxes with a performance in sparkling gold and soft light, highlighting the soulful prowess of the song. During a time where we are not getting out much, “La La Love Me” encourages us to find our own sense of joyful inspiration, even when alone at home.

“In a year where we cannot live normally, I’ve found it uplifting to day dream and go to places in my mind that feel like a colourful oasis, the La La Love Me video is an expression of that. It’s a heightened reality, of colour, sparkling dreams and a party for one. The song expresses the excitement and nerves of having feelings for someone, but ultimately is a celebration of a lust for life. Working with one of my oldest friend’s Grace Pickering as director was a total joy, she understands my taste particularly well because we’ve been dressing up and talking about our style inspirations since we were teenagers. This video was created to excite, inspire and encourage people to let go and turn up the music.” – Lola Lennox

Written by Lola Lennox and Carl Ryden, “La La Love Me” is produced by Annie Lennox alongside Dan Muckala and Braeden Wright. It follows Lola’s critically acclaimed summer single “Back At Wrong” which was she performed on The Kelly Clarkson show on NBC and received high rotation on Radio 2 (who added it to their A playlist).

Showcasing both Lola’s powerful voice and her inherent aptitude for song-writing, “La La Love Me” is a soul infused ode to escapism bedded in a soundscape filled with joyous colour and cascading melodies. Drawing on Lola’s predilection to daydream, it explores the concept of longing for a love that elevates one’s heart, mind and soul.

Earmarked as an artist to watch by everyone from The Sunday Times, Music Week and NME to Vogue Italia, Wonderland Magazine and Numero, Lola Lennox will be releasing her debut EP in 2021. The long player project will feature both “La La Love Me” and “Back At Wrong” alongside brand new tracks recorded in sessions with the likes of Eg White (Florence & the Machine, Sam Smith), Dan Wilson (Adele) and Dan Muckala (Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes).

Music has been in Lola’s blood from as long as she can remember. She has played the piano and sung from seven years old, written songs from the age of fifteen, and earned a place at the Royal Academy of Music. 2020 saw Lola duet with her mother, Annie Lennox, for their much talked about performance of “There Must Be An Angel” for Global Citizen One World: Together At Home to an audience of over 270 million viewers. While in 2019 she collaborated with Goldfrapp’s Will Gregory on the soundtrack for the “Serengeti” docu-series, which was narrated by Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong and aired in over 35 countries around the world (including the the UK on BBC and the U.S. on Discover Network).

Soukou – Lucky To Be Alive (official Video) (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , |

“Interesting song with good organized synthesis and the crystal clear voice of Soukou. A very special Synthpop candy that you shouldn’t miss.”

-Nagamag.com

SOUKOU – With the release of the first single, “Lucky to be Alive”, under her real name Ena Wild rises like a phoenix from the ashes: From now on, Ena Wild goes by SOUKOU and is all grown-up.

Or rather “part-time grown-up” – just because you pay taxes doesn’t mean you’re out of the woods. With her unmistakable voice and plenty of Berlin sparkle, SOUKOU proves that great pop music can grow with you.

More than Grönemeyer and currywurst: The 32-year-old singer and songwriter SOUKOU also hails from Bochum and has been making music for over 18 years. She started with Gospel and Hip Hop. Then from 2007 and at the tender age of 19, she conquered the clubs of Berlin as Ena Wild with techno and electro beats. SOUKOU’s musical palette is as varied as the colors of the rainbow: She works as a songwriter for hit productions, has toured with various circus productions (for which she wrote the soundtracks herself) by international companies (such as Cirk la Putyka, Base Berlin, Analog the Company in AUS, CZ, GER, NL, AUT, DNK, IT), and released a one-take acoustic album titled “A Color”. And it was all self-published. Her 90s pop roots continue to shape SOUKOU’s style and the label pop remains a compliment for the singer. Because making music that is loved by many is no shame at all. Whether synthpop or Berlin pop: Ena refracts her passion for life in her lyrics – light, dark and especially colorful.

Carried by SOUKOU’s soulful voice, “Lucky to be Alive” is a sophisticated synthpop anthem and a true declaration of love for life with all its ups and downs. SOUKOU has already experienced quite a few of them and with this song shows everyone that she has come out of them stronger than ever. That moment after a long decline, when everything is over and you realize: It’s still good to be alive. Just like the proverbial phoenix. And who couldn’t use this powerful message from SOUKOU on their soundtrack after the year 2020?

Ivory Layne – Confetti [Official Music Video] (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , |

“The music and vocals of Ivory Layne are a special, transparent as a rock crystal, state of mind. Just listen to her work Confetti, where every second spent alone with her will make your heart beat like at the end of the last day. You need to feel it. It needs to be heard. This must be understood.”

“Музыка и вокал Ivory Layne – это особое, прозрачное как горный хрусталь, состояние души. Вы только вслушайтесь в её работу Confetti, где каждая секунда проведённая наедине с ней заставит биться ваше сердце как на исходе последнего дня. Это нужно прочувствовать. Это нужно услышать. Это нужно понять.”

-Nagamag.com

London, UK: January 29th, 2021 – Rising Nashville-based singer songwriter Ivory Layne announces the release of her debut EP ‘Confetti’ today, and releases mesmerising music video for the title track.

Shot in her own home while in quarantine in Nashville, the music video for ‘Confetti’ resonates with Ivory’s love of movie soundtracks and captures the stirring ethereal ode to moving on from ‘the party that was so hard to leave’. The quarantined-inspired music video was directed by artists Aaron Campbell and Gatton with full art direction, styling and editing duties courtesy of Ivory herself. You can watch the video here

Ivory explains, “I wanted something colourful that we could feasibly bring to life in the confines of my place. We created ‘the party that was so hard to leave’ from the bridge of Confetti with cake, streamers, and glitter that refuses to help pay rent but somehow insists on sticking around.”

Set for release on the 18th of February 2021, the ‘Confetti EP’ is a collection of powerfully emotive songs that shows just why Billboard tipped her to become “the new Adele” and places her in the sphere of contemporary pop polymaths like Maggie Rogers.

Produced by Nick Atkinson and Edd Holloway aka The Barn Productions (Lewis Capaldi, Gabrielle Aplin, Dean Lewis) Jimmy Robbins (Keith Urban, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert) and Ivory herself, the Confetti EP is Ivory’s first UK release since signing with Justin Timberlake’s development company Villa 40 and showcases the unique voice and masterful songwriting that caused Timberlake to sit up and take notice of Ivory’s talents.

Tipped for stardom by the likes of Billboard, V Magazine and Live Nation’s Ones To Watch, Layne’s remarkable talent has garnered critical acclaim as well as attracting a wealth of stellar collaborators.

In just a few years, she’s worked with Grammy award-winning producer Ed Cash (Dolly Parton, Amy Grant) on her debut EP; collaborated with Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness and Needtobreathe; written for other artists alongside co-writes with some of Nashville’s finest including Jimmy Robbins, Shane McAnally and Lori McKenna. Layne’s sharpness in the writer’s room has also landed her two global ad campaigns, one for prestigious jewellery house Swarovski and another for cable giant, HBO.

The Confetti EP is primed to cement Layne’s reputation as one of the world’s finest, rising female talents.

A more smooth and chilly Melodic House Track. Organic synthlines with a little bit of an 70’s ambient style sound

https://instagram.com/gregorklamramusic

Gregor Klamra is the alter ego of Hamburg and Berlin based musician Felix Weigt.

During his childhood in the early nineties, he first got into contact with electronic music by watching eurodance music clips in German television. Also, synth-driven movie soundtracks caught his attention.

He then went more into acoustic music by learning to play the piano, and after finishing school, he studied upright bass at the conservatory. Since that time, he plays in theater shows, does studio work and live gigs with different artists and is a member of the Indie pop group Die Höchste Eisenbahn.

Apparently, he never lost connection with his early love to electronic music so that one day, maybe seduced from a long night in a nightclub or at a festival, he started to feel the urge to produce his own version of progressive and melodic house and techno in his spare time. Often more on the downtempo side, he focuses on melancholic chords, long build-ups and catchy melodies. Tied to his flat due to the corona lockdown in spring 2020 he finally found the impulse to finish some of his track that he is releasing now…

Thomas Valverde – Rave (Music video) (Video)

“Thomas Valverde’s insanely atmospheric, flattering and completely unobtrusive music. Wallpapers of ambience and tender piano melody.”

“Безумно атмосферная, обволакивающая и совсем ненавязчивая музыка Thomas Valverde. Фоновые слои эмбиента и нежнейшая мелодия пиано.”

-Nagamag.com

« Rave » is a kind of slow-motion instrumental techno, dark and beautiful.
The piano with a soft sound is mixed with a mesmerising synth. The two trace a dark and marvellous path
among dissimilar beings who commune though a slow and sensual dance.

We dive into the night when the bodies dance and exult. We frame in slow motion to better capture
and admire this feeling of freedom and communion.

The music video is created and directed by Arhur Valverde. It is taken directly from his Fashion Film
« Rave » (released in 2018) for which Thomas Valverde had previously composed a first arrangement of « Rave ».
The two brothers regularly works together.
