Just incredible and stunning work with a bass line. Listening and exciting rhythm, which causes a very strong emotional emission of adrenaline. Beautiful glitter elements only give charm and emphasizes the romantic lyrics in the text.”

“Просто невероятная и потрясающая работа с басовой линией. Оглушительный и возбуждающий ритм, который вызывает очень сильный эмоциональный выброс адреналина. Красивые глитчевые элементы лишь придают обаяние и подчёркивает романтическую лирику в тексте.”

Artist said about this song:

"Coming off the successful release of my debut single 'Break My Heart which was about my 10 year relationship ending abruptly, my second single 'STUMBLE' is a high energy pop song about being in a new relationship, personal development, and open communication. I spent a couple of years on hard personal development so I could be the best version of myself and give that to someone who deserves all of me. Open and honest communication in a relationship is so important and I wanted to capture that in STUMBLE. I just want to spread love with my music and this song is about that....LOVE & CONNECTION."

This song practically binds your love for music and the genres of Electro Pop and Trip-Hop and there is a feeling that unearthly vibrations penetrated into the soul and no longer want to leave this condition for a minute. Extremely eccentric and memorable creation from -Fable-!”

“Эта песня практически привязывает вашу любовь к музыке и жанрам Electro Pop и Trip-Hop и возникает ощущение, будто неземные вибрации проникли в душу и уже не хочется покидать это состояние ни на минуту. Крайне эксцентричное и запоминающееся творение от -Fable-!”

Devon-born singer-songwriter Fable today announces her much anticipated debut album Shame, due on 20th May via Naim Records. The announcement comes accompanied by the release of the title track ‘Shame’, out now with a striking video directed by Matt Hutchings.

https://www.facebook.com/whoisfable

Driven on by a dynamic synth arpeggio and Fable’s spectral vocals, ‘Shame’ laments the state of the world and the uphill battle her generation faces, and is emphasised by a powerfully hyper-fake video that delves into themes of overconsumption, vanity and toxic media.

“Shame masquerades as a sleek pop song, but when you unpack the themes it’s uneasy in its skin. I wrote the synth arpeggio first and built the vocal around my beat and brought it to the studio where Jonas Persson and I turned into this sharp, melancholic pop track. It’s about the feeling of impending pressure in the modern world being met with ever increasing resistance to do anything differently.

“I think it’s really important that people take what they want from the video. Our generation needs to relate differently to our history than previous ones, as we try to reclaim our identity, separate from the one history has handed us. Working with my visual collaborator, Matt Hutchings, I wanted to broaden the scope a little more and ask some searching questions about the nature of shame and the state of society right now,” Fable explains

Having last year relaunched an impressive fledgling career that had already included performing at Glastonbury and collaborating with Orbital, Fable’s second coming has been met with enthusiasm from tastemakers, including NME, 6Music, CLASH and The Independent, notably for the trip hop and neo soul blending ‘Orbiting’, which has racked up over a million streams, and the emotionally introspective ‘Womb’. Signed to Naim Records, the label wing of the award-winning premium audio brand, and an ambassador for mental health charity My Black Dog, she has recorded a debut album of genre-fluid, searingly honest and darkly beautiful music that spans from urgent post punk to introspective electronica, whilst posing questions that are both timely and personal, yet timeless.

Abby Diamond – Nice and Slow

“"Nice and Slow" reflects the magic of Electro sound and highlights the talent of "Abby Diamond". Crystal background layers, acoustic drums and on top the echoing artist's voice which will remember for long.”

-Nagamag.com

Deeply intuitive and channeling all things divine, NYC-based creative Abby Diamond releases her third single in her full moon series of singles with a sultry feminine anthem entitled “Nice and Slow“.

”After the deaths of my grandmother and brother and the recurring visits of an unwelcome voyeur, insomnia arrived and took over my life. It was a relentless, nightly occurrence, leaving me awake for days at a time. After so many sleepless nights, three strange things began to happen. First, I began to fear being alone in my bed. Second, my days became messy and unscheduled as I tried to plan around the brief moments that sleep would find me. And finally, the potent and intense yearning I felt to put my loss and internal turmoil into words magnified into tunnel vision, and haunted my constant waking state. Nice and Slow was the first song I wrote during this time, and it poured out of me like a prayer for sleep” - Abby Diamond

The singles, produced by, and co-written with close friend Max Vehuni of slenderbodies, chronicles a time of intense growth and evolution into a more enlightened state for Diamond.

“Nice and Slow” will be available on all streaming platforms on the September full moon, Sep 20th.

Beks – Make Believe (Feat. Lucy Neville)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“The impressive appearance of "Beks" and "Lucy Nevile" in this Electro Pop ballad left us speechless. The single starts quite smoothly and gradually builds up its sound into something more dynamic. Close attention has been given in the concept too, which is clearly visible on its clip.”

-Nagamag.com

Rising queer pop-star Beks has returned following her #3 iTunes charting single ‘Devoted’, with multi-million streamed artist and influencer Lucy Neville for the dreamy electronic pop ballad ‘Make Believe’. Co-writing their experiences with losing who they thought to be the ‘love of their lives’, the ethereally penned track produced by Jim Elliot captures a raw emotional vulnerability in Beks’ artistry.

Introduced at an APRA event in 2018 where Beks was a guest speaker and Lucy had just amassed 10 million streams of her Crowded House cover ‘Fall At Your Feet’ the songwriters became instant friends. For the following years they supported each as they simultaneously endured traumatic break-ups, sharing books and tips on recovery. Finally, in 2020, the pair sat down in Beks’ bedroom studio in Sydney with a bottle of wine, opened up Abelton and poured out ‘Make Believe’.

Having been a huge fan of UK producer Jim Eliot’s work on Ellie Goulding and E^ST tracks, Beks sent Jim the song for which he produced an ethereal pop landscape to support their heart-wrenching lyrics. The song was then mixed by Lee House and the UK, with further engineering by Magnus Murphy in Aus. The final mix feels reminiscent of Charli XCX ‘Cross You Out’ and Grimes ‘Delete Forever', with its vulnerable, ball-your-eyes out lyrics and crescendoing electronic production.

For the music video, Beks and her cinematographer, Beau Bressington with whom she has collaborated with on all her past visuals, traveled to Newcastle to shoot a pastel fantasy piece to translate the emotion of the single on film. Styled entirely by Beks using pieces she hand sewed and drew from upcycled designer, Kimbra Lou’s eclectic wardrobe, the final film showcases a stunning Australian landscape interpreted as the planet Venus.

“The concept of the film was a story of two heartbroken romantics (myself and Lucy), who find themselves on Venus and are reincarnated into goddesses of love and healing. A story of grief and hope” - Beks

Beks announces global signing to the Wise Music Publishing Group, joining the likes of local artists Donny Benet, Harts, Ngaiire and Josh Pyke, and international artists like Ólafur Arnalds, The Zombies and Fallulah. The full term deal has been in the works for the artist since signing her first single ‘The Thing About Us’ in 2021 when she was first scouted by Wise’s A&R Manager Larry Heath.

Larry Heath said of the signing, “We’re thrilled to have such a talented writer and performer join the Wise Music family. With the music she’s already released as a prime example, and an impressive array of collaborations, Beks will be a name on everyone’s lips in the coming years, releasing music sure to stick with you long after you’ve heard it.”

Beks previous work has seen her become a consistently iTunes charting artist with her song ‘Devoted’ peaking at #3 on the global iTunes Dance Charts and receiving online coverage from NME Australia, Pilerats, Purple Sneakers, Tone Deaf, and Thomas Bleach. Beks has also achieved two consecutive Australian ad campaigns for Channel 7 ‘ Home and Away’ and her music is played in over 8k retail stores Aus wide. Her appearances on IKEA Concert Roulette, Mardi Gras and Pride Festival have prepared her for her upcoming role & performance in Young Rock Season 2.

Dubbed by Teen Vogue USA as the latest breakout artist for her debut EP Lady, Lucy Neville is a 26-year-old singer-songwriter from Sydney, Australia who has made her mark with her self-penned indie-pop sound. To date, Lucy has amassed over 14 million streams. She has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition twice over, including her debut single 'On My Own', which peaked at #13 on the iTunes Electronic chart. In 2017, Lucy’s streaming presence blossomed as she reached 600,000 monthly listeners and featured on playlists and radio stations all over the world with her viral cover of Crowded House’s "Fall At Your Feet". With a sold-out debut headline show and a national tour under her belt, Lucy now mentors other young independent artists in the early stages of their careers and has established a career in media, releasing music on a passion project basis.

Blastique – A Million Lies

“The vocals here, work like an icy waterfall falling on your shoulders. Be sure that you will not have enough time to catch your breath, as the mind-blowing Trip-Hop rhythms will drive you crazy. No one can resist in the incredible power of "A Million Lies".”

“Голос словно ледяной водопад обрушивается на ваши плечи и будьте уверены, что у вас не хватит времени перевести дух, так как умопомрачительные ритмы trip-hop сведут вас с ума. Трек, который обладает невероятной силой и нет никого, кто сможет устоять перед его мощью!”

Washing off a friend’s blood, after rescuing her from a brutal beating by her abusive boyfriend.

This image lies at the heart of “A Million Lies,” the groundbreaking debut single by Zoal.

This bedroom angst pop from Malaysia’s Generation Z combines the soaring highs of Radiohead and raw emotion of Post Malone.

The song tackles a taboo subject matter using stark language rarely heard before in Malaysian pop.

"A Million Lies is a song I made after a really tragic event that happened to a close friend. I wrote this song to remind her of her worth after an abusive relationship. It can be really hard to leave your abuser, especially when you only see the good in them. But even the worst criminal has at least a little good in them. I hope if someone in a similar situation finds this song, they could realize that fixing someone is out of your control — and the sooner you leave, the sooner you'll recover, just like my friend. One year later she found a new love who treats her right, and she is the happiest I've seen,” recounts Zoal, who was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur.

The story behind its production reflects the revolution in music that has allowed young stars like Bille Ellish to produce lush hit records in their bedrooms.

Zoal, a 20-year-old culinary college student, took a recording of the lyrics he wrote to producer Reuben “Blastique” Samuel at Kuala Lumpur’s Mile High Sounds.

They built up the simple recording into a moody, infectious song with a pop structure and haunting melody.

Samuel, who produces and performers under the stage name “Blastique”, said he used 16 falsetto tracks to recreate the feeling of a chamber choir, using off axis microphone techniques.

Zoal initially hired Samuel as a producer, but the young singer was so intrigued by the process of transforming his thin vocal recording into a lush professional track that he is studying how to use Ableton music production software at Mile High Sounds. Samuel is the only certified Ableton instructor in Malaysia.

Local designer Alex Krasnikov made the cyber punk album art, set on a Kuala Lumpur bridge, based on a sketch by Zoal.

"A Million Lies” by Zoal and Blastique is available on all streaming platforms starting February 5, 2021.

SeineSation – Muse

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“In "Muse" elements that may be in contrast to each other, are connected with great artistry and the result has unpredictable flow. Our favourite Electro & Indie Pop style with a slight retro taste, which will drive you crazy!”

-Nagamag.com

Muse is an ode to the whiplash of emotions that assault you when you meet someone special. It can be overwhelming and drive you literally "insane". The vibe of this song is very unique and raw. It's upbeat but dark, the song is a melting pot of contradictory vibes and genres that are harmonized.

Sworr. – Rain Orange

Categories: Audio, Features, Pop, Pop Features, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“"Sworr." have put in order Indie and Trip-Hop elements and the result can exceed your expectations. The single starts smoothly with wide pads and calm vocals, progressing slowly for the first two minutes. The beat is strong and its percussion blows up in a faster and more uplifting finale. Truly surprising work!”

-Nagamag.com

“Rain Orange” is the third single from Sworr.’s upcoming album. Written on a rooftop during a rainy day’s sunset, this electronic/alt pop song’s atmospheric intro with the distinctive vocal bassline and the spoken words, leads to a verse with a uniquely beautiful vocal melody. The dominant vocoder effect in the bridge that follows, leads to the track’s peak. An uplifting second part where the beat gets busier, while the lyrics interpret the restart after accepting our evolution.
