Walker dropped his first single “Conflicted” at the end of 2018. Since then, his music has been featured on 92.5 The River, as well as Spotify’s “Fresh Finds”, “Fresh Finds Pop”, “New Music Friday Indonesia”, and “Fresh Finds Indonesia” playlists. His latest single “My Letter”, a collaboration with Redbull 3 Style World Champion Eskei83, was released on 10/1/21, and is his most streamed song to date.

Walker produces, writes and records his music in bedroom-turned home studio. He draws inspiration for his lyrics from his own personal experiences. Musically, walker’s catchy melodies lean more commercial pop, while his beats and harmonies get inspired by many different genres and time periods.

Walker grew up on Monahan Farm, a family-run fruit and vegetable farm in the small town of East Kingston, NH. He started playing the piano at the age of 5, by performing melodies he had heard on the radio by ear.

In August of 2021, Walker drove from his farm in NH down to Times Square NYC to direct and star in his first music video for his song “Ring Ring” (Release date: 2.4.21). Walker was in charge of everything for the shoot, from writing the storyboard, to booking hotel rooms and limos to film in, to editing the footage together and adding special effects, to funding it with money made from his live shows.

Walker played 127 shows in 2021, and has played over 400 shows since 2018

Ian Abel – Right Hand Man (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Breaking the ordinary sound boundaries, Ian Abel targets on plenty of humour and unpredictable riffs on Hyperpop. Escape from the typical music and cheer up with the funny lyrics of this fresh release.”

-Nagamag.com

Keep your pants on, because Ian Abel’s newest single “Right Hand Man” dropped on Feb 10th, 2022 and it’s the quirky, gay hyperpop smash the world needs right now.

“Right Hand Man” is a cheery, taunting pop tune, with tongue-in-cheek lyrics, punchy synths, and an infectious earworm of a chorus. It’s naughty, effervescent and fun, all in one.

“Imagine you’re getting a drink at a sunny gay resort and you spot a cute stranger flirting with your man,” says Abel. “Then imagine you don’t even care: that’s what this song is about.”

“Right Hand Man” is accompanied by a low-concept music video following a big juicy butt as it walks around the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, bouncing from bar to bar, meeting up with friends, and even getting some light fondling action.

“These days I think we can also use entertainment that lightens the mood and doesn’t take itself too seriously,” says Abel. “I certainly don’t.”

Ian Abel (pronounced “able”) is, at the bottom of it all, a queer comic book nerd with a heart of gold. With an oh-so-smooth velvety voice and sensual, psychedelic electro-pop arrangements, he’s like if Sam Smith met Robyn or Jessie Ware met James Blake, all with a side of Peter Gabriel. He’s not just your standard indie voice.

For well over a decade, Ian has been an artist and performer. He has performed around the world and with greats like Nile Rodgers, Jimmy Fallon, and the SNL band. He has sung onstage at Carnegie Hall, on Chinese national television, and in festivals in Sun Valley, New York, and Edinburgh. Currently, Ian resides in New York City, where he hopes to get back to performing live soon.

He released his debut EP “Icarus” in 2016, and his songs and videos have been featured on Howl & Echoes, Wolf In a Suit, Clout, Indietronica, Milk Crater, Mystic Sons, and Spotify’s Fresh Finds.

“"Givven" present their fresh single, balancing between Downtempo and Commercial sound. The artists have done great work on vocals and this can be spotted directly. 3D effects, unpredictable sound shifting and a slight taste of acoustic instrumentation, increase the whole production level.”

Downtempo pop trio GIVVEN's single, 'Losing Colours', out today via Bias Beach Records.

https://lnk.to/GIVVEN-LosingColours

International trio GIVVEN has released their latest single, ‘Losing Colours’ on the 10th of February. The single is the title track for their upcoming audiovisual EP which will be released on the 24th of March via Bias Beach Records. The EP will feature three unique songs with music videos shot in the beautiful landscapes of Iceland, the first of which, ‘Taking On Water’, was already released and accompanied by a gloomy blue-tinted video. One-third of the trio is Adrian Held, part of the renowned Klangkarussell duo. GIVVEN released their hit debut single, ‘Ghostkeeper’ with Klangkarussell in early 2020 which has reached over 6,6 million views to date, followed by several more singles which would collect over 50 million plays across platforms with support across a wide variety of international publications and radio stations.

The trio is comprised of Adrian Held who is from Austria and based in Berlin, Germany, Jordan Haller who is also from Austria and currently based in Toronto, Canada and Nikodem Milewski who is from Poland and based in Vienna. Nikodem Milewski is also responsible for mixing and mastering the EP and has previously worked with the likes of Robin Schulz and Gryffin, amongst others.

In the early stages of the GIVVEN project, the band used the likes of Jai Paul for inspiration however, more recently they’ve begun to also turn to the works of Bon Iver and James Blake. In turn, their own texturally rich sound will find itself at home next to the laidback likes of Chet Faker, Son Lux and James Blake.

The trio take lush textures and paint them against a backdrop of grief, finding ways to layer the metaphorically monochromatic grey emotion against a rolling bassline and vocal echoing remnants. Acoustic elements lend a gentle tone while the spacey, soaring choruses convey the raw pain found within the lyrics.

Speaking of the single, GIVVEN tell us: "We're incredibly proud of ‘Losing Colours’. From the writing to production, it all took months to dial in and get perfect but we think you can really feel the time and love we put into this one when you listen to the track. Every little detail in lyrics and melody and sound design was meticulously thought out and dialled in. For the vocal production, I was inspired by a song called "Stories" by "Refs" and how they automated the formant shifting of their vocals in the second verse. I thought that was such a cool way to play with vocal delivery so I took the concept and built on it a little and brought that to the verses of ‘Losing Colours’ to give the vocals a new way to twist and turn and kind of keep the listener off-balance."

Losing Colours EP Tracklist:

1. Taking On Water

2. Losing Colours

3. Doubts

Rose Ranger – Confession (Spotify)

“In "Confession", Rose reveals a secret part of herself and shares her wonderful melodies with us. She also has an impressive ability to shift her voice tone, adding extra colour to the whole production. Magic Electro Pop that worths our attention.”

Hailing from Vancouver's North Shore, Rose Ranger's creative process is inextricably linked with the ocean and mountains that are stone's throw away from her front door. Combined with her love of all musical genres and her utmost appreciation for all the creative arts - the blend creates a dynamic vibrancy in her songwriting process. And that sentiment is a testament to her new music. The lush songs are an ode to self-discovery, and to the subtle-yet-profound moments of life - with the results being unpredictable, vulnerable, strident and sincere. “I was always musical, I didn’t really follow any one type, I absorbed it all. I grew up dancing as a kid: ballet, tap and jazz. And with dancing there is a different style of music for each dance form. With ballet it was classical, tap was mostly Broadway show tunes and jazz dancing had pop and rock. So, I’ve been influenced by a lot of different styles of music and creative art forms.”

Tom Ferry – Don’t Tell Me Lies (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , |

“This fresh Commercial release has an explosive combination of groovy sound patterns and bright vocals. Feel the beat affecting your heart and the lyrics passing their important message; Don't tell lies!”

-Nagamag.com

Don't Tell Me Lies is a commercial dance pop song about the need for honesty in a relationship. EMIAH's soaring vocals describe a situation where someone is pretending to be what they're not, in order to impress. The song talks about how this will only eventually lead to heartbreak in the relationship. The combination of the Scottish singer's soulful voice and rising producer Tom Ferry's emotional chords and euphoric production create a modern dance anthem on par with the likes of Joel Corry, MK and Jax Jones.

HOLLISS – Mental Pictures (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“We tend to take pictures to captivate all the nice moments of our life, but don't really live these moments! This song underlines the great importance of "Mental Pictures" as they can stay in the mind and never fade out. Beautiful message and sweet vocal performance in Adult Contemporary mood.”

-Nagamag.com

Artist said about this song:

Mental Pictures is all about living in the moment. So many people are living life through their phones. They’re obsessed with capturing the best picture, with the best angle, in the best lighting, not realizing that what they’re actually doing is missing the moment. There is something about just looking up from our phones, putting away the devices, and seeing/experiencing what’s really in front of us. I got the inspiration for this song on a very ordinary day. I was simply driving through my neighborhood with my boyfriend (now husband) and I looked over at him while we are at a stop light and something about the way he looked in the moonlight just captivated me. I knew that I wanted to remember it forever, but instead of pulling out my phone to take a picture like I would normally do, I put my hands up to my face and took a “mental picture” instead. We don’t give our mind enough credit. We’ve bought into the lie that a physical picture is the only way to truly capture a moment. But then I think about how vividly I remember my childhood. Before I ever had a phone. I remember it because I really lived it.

Heri Iznaga – How’d You Feel%3F (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, House, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“Good things usually don't last forever and the same rule aplies on human relationships. In this Deep House tune, "Heri Iznaga" wonders how a possible break up will affect his other half. All you have to do is enjoy the beat and those mesmerizing vocals.”

-Nagamag.com

This song was born out of the feeling of uncertainty. Is asking the other person how would they feel if things go south, would they even care? It's a very vulnerable place to be in and to ask yourself these questions, we never want to think about these things to begin with and even more so with past relationship trauma, we all want good things to last a lifetime

Mason Harms – Little Things (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“This song reminds us of the significant role our parents play in every single step of our lives. The "Little Things" you usually overlook, can make a big difference in every future challenge. Beautiful Acoustic song with lyrics of deep meaning.”

-Nagamag.com

The first lines of the song are true! One night I was driving home late and I saw some guy passed out in a busy intersection! Pulling over, I drug the guy to the side of the road and rolled him on his side because he was choking on his own vomit.

This made me think, "How did this guy get here, and why am I not in the same place?" The blessings I have today can be traced back to my families help and health in my life as I was growing up. Wether it be my mom helping me with my dyslexia or my dad simply affirming me, these little things added up. This song is to celebrate good parents who set their kids up well for success.

Not everybody has good parents, but my hope is that everybody could see how the sacrifices of their families helped them and would cause them to express gratitude and encourage parents to keep doing a good job raising their kids.
