“Wide open landscapes and emotions are evident in this well composed creation. S if through rosy colored, glasses the slow beat and drawn out guitar are superb. ”

The dream is to go back. The nightmare is that we never can.

During quarantine, I had to make a trip to the grocery store. I met an elderly man
who struck up a conversation with me. We almost seemed to be kindred spirits.
He began the conversation with “Life is hard when you outlive all the ones
you love.”

https://www.facebook.com/NathanielPaulHoff

It seemed like a bit of a quick start to a conversation, but I could tell he
just needed someone to talk to. After talking for a while, I felt this sense that he had
that the world at large had forgotten about him. But, he had created a plan to travel
the world on a train he had read about. He could work on the train and it would
take him across the world. He was amidst planning his way out.

“songbird” was a direct inspiration from that moment. This idea of life after all that you
love and care for is gone. His story resonated with me in the way that I feel from COVID
taking away so many small businesses – so many dreams from all of us.

But what do we do now? Where do we go from here?

“songbird” hopes to take you to a place of hope amidst a looming dark shadow cast over the world.

“A delightful midtempo gem polished to perfection. Very groovy lyrics that captivate and draw in. A feelgood track that will surely be on repeat for many trying to elevate their mood. ”

-Nagamag.com

It's a german song about a girl I met a while ago. She reminds me of the famous pop star Shakira. We only met once, but just in the few minutes we got to know each other, there was this kind of tense feeling of "love". We never met again after this day, but maybe we will. So this song is about her. It was produced by me, lyrics by me and mix mastered by me. It has a catchy hook and a very chill vibe.

Eric Papilaya – Getting Pretty Loose (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“The quintessence of this track is splendor in its purest form! A chic idea, which very successfully combined Funk and Pop Rock. Energetic, bright and very charismatic vocals instantly create the right mood. There is a slight breeze here, an unusual and memorable song.”

“Квинтэссенция этого трека великолепие в чистом виде! Шикарная идея, в которой очень удачно совместили Funk и Pop Rock. Энергичный, яркий и очень харизматичный вокал мгновенно создаёт нужное настроение. Присутствует какое-то лёгкое дуновение ветерка, необычное и запоминающееся произведение.”

-Nagamag.com

At a time when the whole world is stuck at home, creative musicians actually be grateful. At what other time, do you have so much time to produce songs, write lyrics and think about your projects. Eric had massive issues with this statement: “I missed my band and the live sessions a lot. I write a lot of material, but first and foremost I am someone who has the most fun on stage or in the rehearsal room ”

After a very contemplative album, the Upper Austrian wanted to go back to his musical roots and have fun with music. It was all about getting creative in the home studio.

Eric listened to a lot of music from the Motown era: Stevie Wonder, Prince, old Michael Jackson albums. The kind of music that made him feel like he was in a jam session, even if he was just sitting alone on the electric piano or guitar.

When Eric started to write, the return to the English language came naturally. Since his hit “Get Alive”, Eric has been almost exclusively German-speaking. But, when it comes to the fun of making music, the simplicity and ease in phonetics, it is just easier to do this in English. And, it also was great for his record company based in Munich and Nashville. So Eric is back at writing more international works and introduces them by releasing the funky soul pop track “Getting Pretty Loose” as the first single on his next album.

The track pays homage to Prince, one of the artists who shaped Eric the most. “Getting Pretty Loose” is simply meant to convey the feeling that Eric had when he bought his first Prince album. The driving groove, edgy Fender Rhodes sounds, funky bass lines, and then Eric's distinctive voice spiced with a fine twang.

“Getting Pretty Loose” is the perfect appetizer of his upcoming album that puts Eric Papilaya's greatest qualities as an artist first: Passion and Entertainment!

“This stand among the creations with a high level of composing skill. Starting with slow emotion, gradual growth of feelings and finallythe explosion! Sometimes music easily raise our body temperature, causing a storm of emotions!”

“Почётное место среди творений с высоким уровнем мастерства и масштабностью композиторского взгляда. Медленный накал эмоций, постепенное нарастание чувств и после взрыв! О, да, иногда музыка с лёгкостью поднимает температуру по всему телу и вызывает бурю эмоций!”

-Nagamag.com

This is one of the focus tracks of WE ARE AVA's debut album INNER GARDENING. Enveloped in a dreamy, multi-layered soundscape, the album track sings about the numbness and emptiness after a painful breakup with a touch of humor but an even greater amount of brutal honesty. «I saw that you unfollowed me on Instagram. Didn't think that you would for real. I know that's what people do when they break up. But man, this shit hurts like hell.» When what just can't be let go needs to be said again: «You told me that you’ll try to do much better, told me you won’t quit when it gets hard. You told me you were more in love than ever. I can’t believe we ruined something this good.»

Andi – Money (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Catchy work with high sound quality that deserves our attention! In this track, each element is clearly heard in a final mix that stimulates the senses. Also the bass transfers its vibration to your body. Enjoy!”

“Общая работа со звуком и качество сведения заслуживают очень высокой оценки! В пространстве трека чётко слышится каждый инструмент, ни один не выбивается из потока и в общем миксе каждый звук на своём месте. А работа над басом заслуживает особого внимания и вибрация ваших колонок тому подтверждение!”

-Nagamag.com

Andi may be new on the scene but she's no rookie. Singing from the age of 6 and writing songs since 11, Andi has recently garnered nearly 1 million new Tik Tok followers since the start of the year and independently added 100,000 Spotify followers. At only 19, she has several anthemic pop smashes under her belt and is back with another hit.

"Money" is Andi holding no prisoners as she gives side eye to the silver spooners who have no self awareness. Sliding between flippant vocals and a sludgy, pre-chorus bass line, Andi goes after how money affects us all - including artists. This track will rightfully have you questioning ethical consumption while at the club.

Says Andi,

Having moved to LA at 16, I was exposed to a very toxic culture surrounding fake wealth, clout etc… As a young artist, it’s very easy to get caught up in the mix of it. Money was incredibly fun to make; it’s pretty much a diss track to the people who think they’re better than you due to their social status.

Andi's young start with music and performance is the foundation of her connection with her rapidly growing fanbase. Not only did she go the more typical route of theater camp, but rather than cover her favorite songs, she wrote parodies of them. Andi has a goal of using self-awareness to connect with her fellow teens as she charts the trials and tribulations that come with her age.

Now, Andi is taking on her peers' obsession with wealth with her latest single, "Money".

The Lovepools – Island Of My Own (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Blogwave, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“"The Lovepools" have released another Synthpop dynamite, to keep us active and interested in old good sound. The Summer spirit is still here and those funky loops can hit directly in our brain. Are you ready to dive in the cool waters of a sunny island? Just let your imagination follow this sound!”

-Nagamag.com

"Island Of My Own" is a summery pop-rock song by The Lovepools which features a bright production driven by an evolving synth riff, 80s drum loops, and funky synth-bass runs sounding in the territory of Prince and Michael Jackson. The instrumental is spearheaded by an embellished vocal performance by lead singer Anthony Shea, who sings of beaches, storms and isolation.

The Lovepools are no strangers to musical inspiration from video games and this energetic single from them is no exception. Singer, Anthony Shea attributes much of the song's lyrical inspiration from the gaming title: "Stranded Deep" which is an ocean survival game involving a plane crash near a series of deserted islands. The single's artwork is also a direct inspiration from the graphics and visuals the game offers. One night while playing the game, Anthony began to wonder what it would truly be like to attempt survival on a deserted island. Questions of isolation, civilization and moral philosophy began to present themselves to Anthony who quickly transmuted these ideas into song form which quickly became "Island Of My Own".

Island Of My Own was written by Anthony Shea and completely produced, recorded and mixed in Anthony's bedroom with Aria Cruz lending a hand as co-producer. The band used "24K Gold" by Bruno Mars as their mixing guide-track and Anthony finished the production and mix of the song on the 50th mix. Jorge Espinosa of Tropic Culture Studios retakes his role of mastering engineer which now marks his fourth completed master for the band.

The Lovepools new single, "Island Of My Own" will be released worldwide on all digital platforms on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021.

-Nagamag.com
