Connecticut native and pop singer/songwriter Cydney McQuillan-Grace will be releasing her 3rd single & music video for “Grace Like Fire” on February 25th. Cydney is a graduate of Shelton High School and Education Center for the Arts in New Haven. Grace Like Fire was written, recorded, and filmed during the pandemic. The song discusses the cyclical nature of life- how one will burn things down to make way for something new- all to a dance pop beat.

Today Brit-award winning singer, songwriter and dance music trailblazer Becky Hill releases her brand-new single “Run” with Galantis.

The release of “Run” comes hot on the heels of the release of “Here For You” (Becky’s collaboration with Wilkinson written specifically for his album), and her winning “Best Dance Act” at BRIT Awards 2022 earlier this month. The fan-voted Award (which saw a long-awaited return of the Dance category, after a 16-year hiatus) was presented to an ecstatic Becky by her past collaborators David Guetta (who has hailed her as “one of the very rare queens of dance of music”) and Pete Tong.

“Run” is Becky’s first collaboration with Swedish EDM group Galantis. “Run” is written by Becky Hill, MNEK and written/produced by Galantis and was teased by Becky on TikTok on 18th February.

“I’m so excited to release Run with Galantis.” says Becky. “I wrote it with my best friend MNEK who I’ve been writing with for 10 years and the magic I felt when we first wrote my single Losing back in 2012, I still feel to this day when writing with him. I feel like every single I release has the potential to better the last one and this is no different, especially with Galantis featuring on the record too. With their catalogue of hits with the likes of Little Mix and Years & Years I’m very proud to be a part of another huge collaboration with them. This next phase of my artistry is an extension of me fully coming out as a popstar, but this time with a BRIT Award in hand!”

The accompanying music video for “Run” is directed by Michael Holyk and was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. Packed with stunning landscape shots, vibrant textures and contrasting moods, its sees Becky escape the run-of-the-mill day-to-day, to enjoy a romance in sunnier climes.

Becky’s collaborators on “Run”, Galantis, have enjoyed wide acclaim after the release of their debut album Pharmacy which topped the Billboard Dance album chart, garnered numerous platinum and gold RIAA certifications and two Grammy Nominations. Dance music figurehead Kevin McKay has released 'Goodies', the new single from his brand new album of the same name; a superb collection of his most standout recent tracks, looking back over a massively productive 15 month period. The essential selection takes in a broad array of remixes and originals from the Glasgow Underground label head, world-renowned DJ and tireless producer.

The single 'Goodies' is a rework of Ciara's 2004 R&B classic ‘Goodies.’ Talking about the new single Kevin McKay said, "This track started as an edit I made of the Ciara original to play out. I love the simplicity of Lil Jon's production (musically, it's almost all on one note!), and Ciara's rhythmic delivery makes for a great dancefloor mover. So I've taken the signature chorus, wrapped it up in a heavy tech beat and developed the Ocarina synth in the original into a big drop synth. It got a wicked reaction when I played it at the GU party at NT's Loft in January."

Even by his high standards, Kevin McKay has had a landmark couple of years. His label is closing in on an incredible 700th release, and the man himself continued to turn out a high-grade, non-stop selection of vital sounds that covered a wide spectrum of house styles. Back in 2020, he dropped his well-received 'Summer Of Love' LP which perfectly captured the club experience in one indispensable album. There was also a huge collaboration with French house producer Norman Doray on "Let Me Work On You" while the Glasgow Underground label continued to make exciting new talent signings with the likes of prodigious producer Harvee quickly making his mark.

All this of course comes after Kevin has spent many years deeply entrenched in the scene. In that time he has earned a deserving reputation as one of house music's most hard-working figures and has done everything from working in high profile collaborative duos with Omid 16B, creating numerous dance floor anthems, discovering and co-producing Mylo’s seminal album, ‘Destroy Rock & Roll’ album and holding down a residency at Mick's Garage in London.

The new album features plenty of new vocal tunes such as "Take It Back", "Open Your Heart" and "Voices", but the majority of the tracks are classic songs and samples re-imagined with a 2022 groove, including his huge new rework of Ciara's "Goodies".

"New Zealand’s Split Enz disbanded in 1984, but numerous reunions, classical collaborations and re-imaginings have always pulled former members – Neil Finn and Tim Finn among them – back into its orbit. Nothing, however, has been as musically ambitious as Forenzics, Tim and Enz keyboard player Eddie Rayner’s deep delve into the bands earliest days. Born in NY and raised in Westwood, NJ, Nate Ouellette made his mind up from an early age that he was going to be a star. His father was a composer so music was always in his household. He began writing in middle school but always kept it to himself. It wasn’t until his sophomore year in high school that he began taking his talent more seriously. He began connecting with local artists and producers and sharing song ideas, eventually recording some of them but only to show friends and family. When they took to his skills and sound, he realized that his dream of being a big artist might actually become more of reality than he ever imagined.

Recently, he began working on a new, original sound. This unique blend of feel good pop and soul has opened the door to many opportunities coming his way. With a few records under his belt and his following slowly beginning to climb, the soon to be high school graduate has begun the process to stardom. He is focused on not only becoming a staple in the music industry but also bringing it home to his family as they are the most important thing to him.
