"Chills” is an electronic pop song that was written by Valencia, and produced by Valencia and Peter James. This is Valencia's first release where she is introducing herself not only as a songwriter but also as a producer and she's poured heart and soul into this one. Every percussive layer, texture, sound, etc... was purposefully placed in each section to give the listener an immersive experience so that they can feel every lyric and vocal sung. With her sonic ear and Peter's technical skills, they have created something that they are proud to share with the world. Valencia feels it's also fitting that the song is being released just in time for Halloween as the song matches the feel of one of her favourite holidays and hopes her listeners get the "chills" as they listen and enjoy the song. Since early childhood singer and songwriter Daimy Lotus (24) has been involved with music, singing and dance. Even at the tender age of five she could be found performing at the yearly cultural market in her home town. In 2009 she decided to pursue a career in songwriting as well.

At the age of 18 she released an EP named ’15’ including her first single Saturday Girl and follow up single Cannonball, which she got acknowledged for by Dutch radiostation 3FM by naming her Serious Talent. Other radiostations followed along. She played at many festivals and did a Dutch tour through 20 different cities.

After writing songs and performing them for her solo project for several years, she decided to focus on writing for other artists as well (2017). Therefore she has worked with a variety of songwriters, producers and artists in- and outside the country. Nevertheless she is still working on solo material. Daimy has 5 singles scheduled for 2021.
