“”Mien” is a story about a killer who’s ready to chase his next victim. Trip-Hop style with hypnotic singing and lyrics that can put us inside the horror story! Are you strong enough to experience this adventure, or you’ll just skip it?”

-Nagamag.com

Conceptually a song about a stalker, who wants to play cat and mouse mentally with their victim.

Charm the Riot – Supersonic Waves (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Hip-Hop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , |

“This Hip-Hop track has them all. Original old style, clever rhymes and rich background mix of sounds. Are you into this kind of music? If so, hurry up to catch these "Supersonic Waves". One more dynamite for your ears.”

-Nagamag.com

Musically, the track sports a funk bass line that coincides with the idea of waviness and chill excursions. Lyrically, the message is meant to inspire; clean, honest, determined. Vocally, it's hunger, it's vulnerability, it's victory, wrapped in satin and sauce. A "feel good" song to lose yourself to.

Synapson, Bab L’ Bluz – Waylalah (feat. Bab L’ Bluz) (Spotify)

“Collaborative single with a special kind of Indie Electronic mood. Discover a sound mix of 3D atmospheric effects and vocals which travel you somewhere in the East. "Waylalah" blows like a breeze of fresh air, strong enough to help you stay active until the end of your busy day.”

-Nagamag.com

The multiplatinum producer duo Synapson presents « Waylalah », a new single with Berber influence in collaboration with a French-Moroccan band Bab L’ Bluz. Always inspired by unique and global sounds from around the world, the boys continue their journey in Morocco and present an infused electronic single with typical Maghreb instruments and lyrics in Darija.

The release will be out on the day of their Paris show at the Trianon and in the middle of a European tour.

It was a holiday bromance that led to the formation of the duo. That was a long time ago, and it was an impressive fusion from the get-go. Together, these two didn’t waste any time before blending together their inspirations, which came together like clockwork. As soon as Paul relocated to Paris, they set their equipment to work, lighting up their keypads and rhythm boxes, to create the first tones of Synapson. “It’s a mix of atmospheres” they noted, where jazz and rap are coated with soul melodies and underpinned by the buzz of deep house. Their music is brimming with passion and comes straight from the heart, which ultimately gives it a chameleon effect as you could be anywhere when you listen to it - on a dusty road in the middle of nowhere or in the heat of a packed club.

Loulita Gill, Aron Bicskey – Will You? (Spotify)

“Gentle Dream Pop work with classical influences and light, leading vocals. This track emphasizes on the importance of emotional support between people. If it happens to face a difficult situation when others could stand by and make things better with even a few words, will they do so?”

-Nagamag.com

We have all been there when we don’t want answers, fixes, good advice or helpful suggestions. In fact, we just need a person to be there, so we don’t feel alone in our hurt. But it’s often easier said than done. When we try

to help someone by ‘fixing’ them and their problems, it only minimises their pain and can lead to a breakdown in communication and ultimately silent resignations.

Will You? is a gentle, almost broken and anxious, request to just be there... not to try and solve anything but be truly seen and heard. It is an emotional plea for a simple act of kindness to make a person feel loved, to feel hope.

Set on a landscape of ethereal piano, the vocals and words stand out as the focal point of the track. The harmonies build in the bridge, and finally drops to

a tender chorus, which is the final admonition and agreement to just be there.

Husko – Feel The Heat (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, House, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“New dancefloor dynamite, out now from "Husko". Realize the power of this House vibe which can raise the temperature in hot levels. Steady beat, funky melody and uplifting vocals. What else do you need to start the dance?”

-Nagamag.com

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen – but if you’re fly enough to ‘Feel The Heat’, you’ve got a hot one on your hands. Husko hits a summer house home run slash disco slam dunk, opening with a punkish bassline and then introducing a killer double act that cements the track’s status as absolutely boogiesome. Diva wisdom on vocals - keeping matters pushin’ on but never a pushover - and a gloriously glam Rhodes groove stuffed on soul food, get Husko’s beats cooking, the results earning chef’s kisses all round.

A conqueror of the local scene and now with global gains stacking up nicely, including hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams, Maltese producer Husko has worked his way into the record boxes and onto the hard drives of Amine Edge and DANCE, Dennis Sulta and Annie Mac, who gave strong backing to Husko’s ‘One Night Stand’ on her weekend-starting BBC Radio 1 show. Husko’s hold on house has seen him open live for the likes of Patrick Topping, Mark Knight and Mella Dee, and serve up club essentials for Toolroom Records, Glasgow Underground and CUFF.

Earlier this year Husko released ‘Love Can’ on Be Yourself Music, a pure piece of uplifting house showing his commitment to keeping core dance music values alive. Such attention to the groove means Malta’s main man is guaranteed a warm reception wherever he goes.
