Song Review: “Double Edged Sword” by SISTRA | A Pop Discovery

Music Review:

Lyrics of SISTRA – Double Edged Sword

For goodness sake
You’ve got the same name – must you speak in the same way?
Don’t make that face
The prophecy is underway

Cos after all this time
I’ll meet you on the stairs – I’ll take you there
Could anyone else climb?
Yeh would they dare to

Cos you’re my life
But you’re a double edged sword
You set the bar just a little too high
Never gone outside, I’ve never wanted more
Yeh I’ll be fine
You’re a double edged sword
You set the bar just a little too little too high
Never gone outside, I’ve never wanted more
Yeh I’ll be fine

What reward?
Suburban decor – must be painfully boring
But I watch the door
Just a little more you’re getting warmer

Cos after all this time
I’ll meet you on the stairs – I’ll take you there

Could anyone else climb?
Yeh would they dare to

Cos you’re my life
But you’re a double edged sword
You set the bar just a little too high
Never gone outside, I’ve never wanted more
Yeh I’ll be fine
But you’re a double edged sword
You set the bar just a little too little too high
Never gone outside, I’ve never wanted more
Yeh I’ll be fine
Nobody could climb
Nobody could climb
Nobody would try
You set it too high

Nobody could climb
Nobody could climb
Nobody would try
Nobody could climb
Nobody could climb
