Aquacadia was started by Gary Jacobs and Gregory D. Davis on September 13, 2014 in Lexington, Kentucky and St. Louis, Missouri. The band is currently located in San Antonio, Texas and St. Louis, Missouri. The aim of Aquacadia continues to be to capture progressive rock, retro-rock and electronic sounds with a focus on music composition. The music is eclectic, drawing on progressive rock, instrumental rock, synth pop, electronic rock, electric guitar, classical guitar, funk rock, post-punk, and upbeat rock elements. The album "Into Atalantia" is our debut and blends this variety of musical styles in an interesting way. We are now writing a blog explaining our approach to music composition at www.aquacadia.net

From a young age, Mounika. already had a passion for music, his great curiosity led him to try his hand at many instruments, eventually gravitating towards the piano. Years go by and as he explores the dense universe of electronic music, his thirst for novelty is constantly growing. Iconic artists such as Bonobo, Air, Moby and Wax Tailor were a great source of inspiration.

With musical production now an integral part of his life, Mounika.’s intention is to offer a dreamlike space, through his music, as his musical influences have done for him before. Mounika.’s inexhaustible creativity blends with his great eagerness to share his music with the world. Mounika. publishes his first productions on SoundCloud, his delicate, sensitive and melancholic melodies never cease to resonate further and further afield, finding new audiences.

In June 2017, together with a group of friends, Mounika. decides to unveil his first album “How Are You” on Spotify, which contains among others the track “Cut My Hair”. In just a few months and against all odds due to the almost non-existent means of promotion, the track amasses 15+ million plays throughout the world and allows him to make a name for himself. It is from this moment that the magic happens, as if Mounika.’s music has the power to touch a part of sensibility in each of us, a universal shared feeling.

Mounika. returns this year with a new electro chill album. discreet by nature. We will be announcing more news and updates on May 15. At this time, Mounika. returns with his first offering since his debut LP. The single is titled “Intro (I m sorry)” and is released on April 10, 2020.

In one image, Mounika.’s musical universe would be a rainy cloud which, between two showers, lets a summer sun shine through.

In the beginning of the summer 2019, I wrote an SMS to my friend Olof Gråhamn and asked if he wanted to create a summer hit. He agreed and we met up at the Ribersborg beach, in Malmö. We sat on the grass, talking about what kind of mood and themes we wanted to convey. I picked up the guitar and began strumming the chords that still make the backbone of the recorded song. The rest just flowed naturally. Two beers and some sunshine later the song was done. Later, during the recording process in the legendary Tambourine Studios, it turned out that both Olof and I had considered suggesting to let Olof’s girlfriend Moa McAllister (guitarist and vocalist of the band Peach Baby) sing the chorus part together with me. Moa turned up just before we had to close up shop for the day, and we had just enough time to lay down the tracks. This was the first time I met Moa, and her tender voice turned out to be perfect for the song. On this track, as well as on the others, my producer Måns Wikenmo played the drums, bass and guitar. I sang, played the guitar, violin and keys myself. Few words about the artist:
Bjorn Rydhog is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Malmö. After many years of writers block, he finally found a creative spark through playing the guitar to a poem by Dag Hammarskjold. This resulted in twelve new songs, recorded in the legendary Tambourine Studios with the producer Måns Wikenmo. The EP “There’s a light in everything” was released in late 2018 followed by a couple of more singles.

Can't Say (Word Like That) is a song describing the fear of telling someone you love them for the first time. It focuses on unrequited or one-sided love, a universal and frequent subject in pop culture. The song considers the anxiety of potential rejection from expressing these true feelings.

It was selected as a top 10 finalist for the 2020 NSAI Song Contest presented by CMT and Martin Guitars. My last single "Paradise" was featured on multiple playlists and blogs such as Reignland Mag., Popmuzik, Talk About Pop Music, etc. and was shared across social platforms by influencers like Juliana Hale, and Grow with Jo. I have a release show on 2/28 in Nashville and a live performance booked on the TV show, Today In Nashville.

New pop artist, Drew Schueler is a master at creating unique yet familiar songs full of vibrant vocals and melodies, electro-pop synth textures, electric guitar and programmed beats, similar to Lauv, Justin Bieber, and LANY.

Drew cut his teeth in Cincinnati and Nashville fronting and producing alternative pop bands but is now breaking into the pop mold. He not only wrote his entire debut EP (New Perspective), but also played all the instruments, produced and mixed the entire project himself.

DYNAH, a new name, a new pop costume tailored especially for the singer-musician Melody LINHART. Two syllables taken from her actual name in order to make her metamorphosis as smooth as possible and let the magic begin! With these five letters, she becomes a freer version of herself.

Originally from an acoustic background where she played jazz, folk and soul music, Melody Linhart is currently undergoing a new beginning, a blank page – « PAGE BLANCHE » is the title of her first single – and starting a new musical chapter, in French this time, propelled by sometimes minimalist electro pop music. Her style lies at the meeting-point between Clara Luciani and James Blake.

Throughout her collaborations, from Paris to London, through Spain and the Netherlands, Dynah has been adopting a new, more efficient, more strait forward, way of writing. She seeks simplicity: “Songs have to come self-evidently.” Melody Linhart has been refining her touch. Her trademarks are: describing a scene in a song as precisely as if it were a movie, composing as if she were weaving an outfit for a character, including unexpected words in her lyrics such as “chrysalis”, or “koala”, hidden poetry.

In this new playground, Dynah is exhilarated and liberating herself: “Pop music is a good excuse to talk about love and sensuality.” Here, a few notes of synth reveal a woman feeling blue. There, desire springs out through programmed beats. Weaknesses, dreams, pleasure, motherhood, Dynah explores pop as she does her life, confronting her lyrics to electronic sounds.

Nashville native, Hank Compton, goes for the gut with his rich storytelling, creating music that dives beyond the surface level exposing his greatest highs and lows. Compton’s music blends his influences of classic rock and 80’s pop devising a modern sound with a nostalgic feel. At 20, he has toured and opened for country legend Loretta Lynn, played at historic venues such as the Troubadour in Los Angeles and the Ryman in Nashville and signed with Warner Chappell Music in March of 2019.
