Always You was originally released in 2020 for a brief period of time. Written in Los Angeles during the turbulent times of the COVID Pandemic, Systemic Racism & rampant Climate Change, “Always You” was inspired by the beauty of everything around us that we’ve taken for granted. Whether that’s a significant other, the world, etc. it was an influence in crafting the messaging and music, lyrics and overall vibe of this song. Musically we went with a more organic approach as we’ve both been playing guitar lately. We wanted to get back to our roots that got us into producing in the first place.

NEO NOIR is an LA based Future Music collective based around producers Bradley Allan & Greg Ogan. Some notable credits between them include Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, Sean Kingston, Brandi, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna and more. They formed NEO NOIR at the start of 2017 as a passion project to create music collaborations with talented singers that share their artistic vision. This enables them to experiment freely and push boundaries more so than when producing specifically for other artists. Their first song “When I Was Young (ft. Brooke Williams) broke a million streams and is currently at 2 million. They currently have 8.5 million streams on Spotify combined as of 2020. Also worth noting is that they’ve been a featured artist on MTV's “The Challenge” as well as featured in an international Hershey’s Chocolate commercial campaign since the start of 2020. They’re also in rotation on the NFL on Fox - NFL Kickoff this season.

“Such tracks need to be listened to at maximum volume in order to completely feel how the music makes your way under your skin and you become its whole. Just incredible depths of vocals, the rhythms of World Music, Afrobeats and the charm of the Neo-Soul genre. (Automatically Translated with Google Translate)”

“Такие треки нужно слушать на максимальной громкости, чтобы полностью ощутить, как музыка пробирается вам под кожу и вы становитесь её целым. Просто невероятной глубины вокал, ритмы World Music, Afrobeats и очарование жанра Neo-Soul.”

-Nagamag.com

Taken from his album " Tounen nan rasin " released last November, the Canadian singer of Haitian origin Mister Drê-D, in his suave voice, presents " Pouki ", a new version of the song " Why " in English and Creole.

This fusion between the two languages is a good representation of the diversity and crossbreeding of urban music today. " Pouki " is an afrosoul piece in the same vein as what is currently being done in Afro-Nigerian urban music with Caribbean influences in the sounds.

"Pouki" (meaning "why" in english) is about an artist who loves his art, but gets caught up in the whirlwind of the music industry to the point of compromising his soul for a bit of recognition and glory.

This master piece written by Mister Drê-D, composed by Noel Mpiaza, mixed and mastered by Maxime Philippe is just in time for spring. Indeed, the images of the clip shot by PeeZee transports us to a tropical landscape where bewitching, sensual and groovy rhythms will warm up your atmosphere as a prelude to the summer season.

Distributed by Distrokid, " Pouki " is now available on all digital platforms. The artist has also concocted a Spotify playlist that accompanies this piece where we find some songs that embrace this musical lineage.

Canadian singer-songwriter WiL is excited to announce the release of his new single 'Precious' out now on all digital streaming platforms. Listen here.

https://wil.hearnow.com/precious

'Precious' follows the April 1st release of 'I'm Sorry', from WiL's sixth studio album The Gold Mine, set for release on May 13th.

Many of the songs on The Gold Mine deal with the realities of being in a long-term relationship - the good, the bad, and the ugly. ‘Precious’ speaks to going through difficult times with your partner and then coming out on the other side and realizing how much that person means to you.

"If you've lived long enough, there comes a point when you look around you and realize who really matters," says WiL. “It could be a person or pet or whatever. And you know your life is that much more enriched for having them in it. "

While WiL’s catalog grows, his music has become the soundtrack for many. Countless fans have chosen ‘Oak Tree’ as their wedding dance, partied to ‘Both Hands’ holding a wine bottle and sung ‘Roam’ while hiking far away snow-capped peaks. With this new album, perhaps they’ll find a new nugget of gold to add to their music playlists.

'Precious' is available now on Spotify, Apple Music / iTunes, and other digital retailers and streaming services worldwide. For more info, please visit https://ibreakstrings.com/
