After multiple peers in the industry had come to him for guidance, Dunne created Cactus Coast, a community where artists, songwriters, mixers, and producers could help each other achieve their goals. Liverpool-based producer and neo-classical songwriter Tom Ashbrook returns this February with some of his most affecting, emotively charged and powerful work to date. The first track off a brand new EP, Solitude III counters the darker haunting sounds of his previous EP, showcasing a lighter side to his breathtaking ambient compositions.

Classically trained on piano from the age of 5, Tom Ashbrook grew up with an obsession with the emotion and songwriting mystique in film soundtracks. He took these techniques into his own songwriting and later, developed a love for synthesis and contemporary music production, the combination of which, has now formed the basis of his stunning and eclectic catalogue.

Tom’s work has built him a following worldwide as well as critical acclaim. His music has found appreciation through Spotify and Apple Music’s playlist system, where he’s clocked over 7 Million Streams since launching with his debut EP in 2019. Words have never spoken as much truth for Drew William, a fairly new singer-songwriter that has a special talent of conveying cathartic emotion in every one of his tracks.

Taking this notion to heart, the opening track of William’s "Room" EP “Moonlight,” begins with the roar of an engine and an upbeat chord progression that quickly grabs the listener. Soon after William sings about finding a place away from all the noise of the world.

“That moment where everything feels like it’s on the back burner; wheels off the ground, floating toward that big white moon, all the world growing quiet behind,” William says.

To end is “Man Makes His Borders,” a track that sounds like an indie-pop Bob Dylan—featuring a beautiful harmonica and melody that bleeds feeling with its Americana folk flare. William muses about railroad tracks, fame—an aspect that William knows all too well from his CFL background—and the illusions of everyday life. It’s probably William’s most personal track to date and it and leaves you wanting more.

Drew William also known in the CFL Football world by his full name, Drew Wolitarsky, dived headfirst into music after his football career as a wide receiver for the Winnipeg Bluebombers was put on hold due to COVID-19.

While he was playing football, Drew played in restaurants and coffee shops—events that may seem unreal nowadays. He has been writing his entire life and with his newfound love for music, his creations have taken on a livelier body.

HENRIETTE lights up the dark season with three new emotional Country Pop singles

With her Country Pop, which can be quiet as a breeze and fiery as the sun, HENRIETTE managed to make a mark directly in the scene. After her debut single “Dream Boy” went on rotation in countless countries on three continents, the vocalist up the ante with her singles “Lighthouse” and “Crash Like This” and finally made a more than successful start with her self-titled debut EP.
