“Catchy guitar riff from the start and his voice, they fit just amazing together. Background guitars builds up an amazing structure. Slower rhythmic structure and drums drums are perfectly matched with the songs beautiful style. Chorus part and strings collide into a blissful but also melancholic atmosphere.”

You share your drink
With another man
Then you think
Of when I let you down
The times you got lonely
Wishing to only have someone
It weighs me down slowly
Knowing I wasn’t the one
So I sing a lullaby
When it gets late at night
Whispering softly
That you’ll be fine
But the times that you think of
I’ve thought of them more
I can’t forget the countless times
I hurt you before
I can’t forget the countless times
I hurt you before
“Old school vibe that hit you instantly with the first sounds, this song creates wonderful world of nostalgia. Saxophone theme is amazing as it can be, crystal, great structure and dynamic. Beautiful but smooth vibe feels like a roller coaster of positive mood that will stay in your ears long after this song is over.”

Look how far we have come
From the place where we begun
Looking over my shoulder how I can see
Weʼre just one big family
And the history repeats
Itʼs like your favourite feel-good show on tv
But if you watch it back
Without the laughter track
You know it ainʼt so funny, you know it ainʼt the same
I want a new silver screen
I want a brand new scene
I wanna burn the script, and start it over again
Come on and share
Share in our hopes
Come on and share in our pain
One road is ending
Another road begins
Come on letʼs do it over again
I took a trip out west, St. Louis
To wait for the eclipse
Wet my head in the river so wide
I paid the ferryman to go
He only brought me to and fro
He said Iʼm not ready for the other side
Iʼm like a slate, clean and new
Yeah, I knew just what to do
I gotta shake this sorrow, I gotta break these chains
I know itʼs hard to change your shape
But the circle has to break
And so we try, by and by, to start over again
Look how weʼve come so far
We sleep under the stars
And we dance by the waxing moon
Here on this river bend
We can wet our heads again
A hundred times, or a hundred more
Itʼs not some cheap snake oil
Itʼs not some magic cure-it-all
But even a snake knows when to shed itʼs skin
‘Cause seven years can fly by
Itʼll flash before your eyes
And I just hope you and I can to do it over again
Come on and share
Share in our hopes
Come on and share in our pain
One road is ending
Another road begins
Come on letʼs do it over again
Come on letʼs do it over again

When the sun goes down after twilight
The leaves grow still after their chatter with the wind
If you wait
If you listen
Dreamers come awake and call to us again
Come and play
Under the moonlight
Come and dance where you can breathe
‘Cause dreamers come awake
Under the moonlight
So come and paint your favorite dream with me
We will laugh
We will cry
We’ll remember how it feels to be alive
Cause dreamers come awake
Under the moonlight
And when the morning comes
Our hearts will rise
When the morning comes
Our hearts will rise

My ex was in a K-Town cult
and I’m the witch who said,
“I think you’re drinking their Kool-Aid.”
And everybody wants to move to New York
‘cause they think it’s gonna solve their every complaint
So, I told my best friend New York wouldn’t save him
And now we don’t talk anymore
I’ve lost a lot of friends to truth
And I predicted the earthquake that shook California in August
So, throwing a tantrum doesn’t scare me into lying to you
I talk to the stars and I go to the angels for counsel
And I’ve lost a lot of friends to the truth
The church always wants to talk about sins
unless they’re truly damning
I love the people in relationships
who think they can solve their problems by getting married
So, I told a few friends love wouldn’t save them
And now we don’t talk anymore
I’ve lost a lot of friends to the truth
And I predicted the earthquake that shook California in August
So, throwing a tantrum doesn’t scare me into lying to you
I talk to the stars and I go to the angels for counsel
And I’ve lost a lot of friends to the truth
I think the hardest part about it
is thinking they hate me now
Thinking they’re better off without me shaking their town
You can move from San Andreas
but you’ll find disaster somewhere else
I’m better off without you
and that’s all that matters now
I predicted the earthquake in August
So, throwing a tantrum doesn’t scare me into lying to you
I talk to the stars and the angels
And I’ve lost a lot of friends to the truth
And we’ve lost a lot of people to earthquakes
We’ve lost a lot of people to hurricanes
We’ve lost a lot of people to the thought that death is necessary
But death ain’t necessary the way the truth is
Death ain’t necessary the way the truth is

I’m out with my friends
You’re out with your friends
Both of us doing a little Friday night drinkin’
Ya’ll seem real nervous
Like we’re bottle service
Let me tell you how this works
If you gonna be looking
Then you best be askin’
Me to dance and take a chance on a little bit of romancin’
Here let me give you some help
Don’t be pullin’ from the bottom of the well
Cause baby I’m top shelf
It ain’t the drink you buyin’
It ain’t the truck you drivin’
Sure ain’t those pickup lines
That work on other girls
I’ve got my eyes set higher
Maybe you’re my kind of guy or
Maybe you ain’t gotta clue
No no well
If you gonna be lookin’
Then you best be askin’
Me to dance and take a chance on a little bit of romancin’
Here let me give you some help
Don’t be pullin’ from the bottom of the well
Cause baby I’m top shelf
I’m top shelf
Oh, I
Ain’t trying to teach no lesson
Oh, I
Ain’t got the time to keep you guessing
Fast and easy ain’t my style
I’m worth the wait
I’m worth the while
If you gonna be looking
Then you best be askin’
Me to dance and take a chance on a little bit of romancin’
Here let me give you some help
Don’t be pullin’ from the bottom of the well
Cause baby I’m top shelf
Baby I’m top shelf
