LG (Team Genius) – YBM [Official Music Video] (Video)
“”Team Genius” attack with this new hit in the Rap scene. Summer is already burning hot and “YBM” sets another fire in the streets. The bomb has been activated and it’s going to explode in less than four minutes. can you withstand such power? Hit “play” and find out!”
-Nagamag.com
“YBM” is an honest, political track about police brutality and systematic racism in the US. The music video went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels this past week after its release on Juneteenth (6/19).
“YBM” TRACK INFO:
YBM is the movement song that covers all the different roles & faces of our culture. From the relentless protest we’ve witness in 2020 to the dance culture in the clubs. YBM is the anthem for all that is “black.” It speaks to the mentality of “black excellence”, but also embodies the “twerk and bounce” of gritty hip-hop. The purpose of YBM is for the youth to have a song that captures everything we are without, frowning upon a different side of the culture. When we can except all that is us, from “ratchet to riches” we can then expect others to follow. The change starts with us, although we are born from our ancestors – we are far from the times of falling in line and following rules! We are the new generation and we are no longer afraid of our blackness!
LG BIO:
Lively, dynamic, and infected by a ferocious no-nonsense attitude, LG pushes her listeners to get up and get moving. Sometimes all we need is a good punch to the gut, and LG doesn’t hold back. Fast-paced and unapologetic, LG’s rapid-fire verses explode with their fierceness and sincerity. The rhythmic beat juxtaposes the impossibly smooth vocal passages, a rare type of bluntness that’s a welcome slap across the face.
LG grew up in Philadelphia and was brought up under the musical tutelage of her own parents. LG’s mother in particular had a significant impact on defining her music career, writing raps that LG would perform in front of her family and at talent shows as young as four years old. Learning the drums at age six and later the piano, LG’s musical roots run deep and her passion only grew after she began writing her own material:
“At the age of 12 my mother bought me Protools’ Digi Design Box and a [Apple] G5 tower so I could record my own songs. At the point I realized music was what I wanted to do in life on a professional level. I would record sometimes 8 songs a day.”
LG’s mother also taught her the fundamentals of freestyling, showing her how to string words together and the basics of structuring a song. LG’s freestyling prowess landed her significant east coast radio station plays including support from Power99FM, 1039 HipHop (formerly known as “Boom Philly”), and Hot97, and for good reason.
LG’s unrelenting vocals intertwine seamlessly with the powerful beat, demonstrating impressive cognizance regarding just how powerful music can be. Her music soars, yanking the listener to their feet and pushes them to achieve more, to do more with the life they were given. Some tracks are imbued with a quiet urgency, an intensity that holds its listeners accountable for what they do next:
“Music is a great way to get lost in a different world, I think this project isn’t so much about getting lost in the music, but tapping into your passion for what you want and using that to focus on accomplishing the goals you’ve set or the things you aspire to do.”
The music punches, pulls, and spurs the listener to groove along. The dynamic sound battles with a simple yet profound message: get off your ass and move! LG’s music doesn’t waste time, and it expects you to do the same. With an empowering sound and uncontrollable ambition, LG implores you to take on the world with the mindset that every breath, every step is an opportunity to succeed.

“Do you want to cheer yourself up? All that remains is to blow off the dust from the vinyl, turn on the turntable and open the windows! That warm feeling as a vingly you feel here. A seething and at the same time soothing ocean of emotions. Through the vibration of R&B rhythms to the immense waves of human emotions.”

Atlanta-based Health and Fitness Pop trio 3D The Boss released their debut full-length album “Push It” on April 15, 2021. Stylistically, these seasoned musicians effortlessly combine their 70’s and 80’s funk and r&b inspirations with modern pop and electro elements for a potent signature sound.
Now they’re releasing a stylish, sexy official music video for the album’s earworm of a second single “Sneaky Peeky”.
About “Sneaky Peeky”:
Sneaky Peeky addresses the sensual, sexual curiosity and imagination that are both part of human nature. Yet, many lack the courage to explore who they really are and move forward with confidence, because of self judgement. In this song, Boss Lady establishes herself as a powerful Queen who has explored herself, defined who she is and essentially says, you’d better have it together before you step to me or you “ain’t got no shotty!”

About the “Push It” album:
Most pop, funk & r&b projects intend for their audiences to get moving, but with 3D The Boss it’s practically mandatory. Described by visionary Saint Day Adeogba as ‘music to raise your frequency to a higher level’, the music on “Push It” is not only energetic, but it’s infused with meaning and spirit as it encourages the listener to live a healthy lifestyle. Whether you’re working out with the band during one of their live performances or just listening to the album, the songs stand on their own, each with it’s own distinct groove.

Odd Beholder – Accept Nature (Video)
“Do you feel anxious and stressed? Trapped into a destructive routine. Find your chance to escape from maddness with this nice Synthwave song. Popping beat, dreamy melodies and Daniela’s charming voice won’t let you down!”
-Nagamag.com
Odd Beholder, the Electronica / Art Pop project from Swiss musician Daniela Weinmann releases the video for the recent single “Accept Nature“.
“Accept Nature” is a song about anxieties caused by unrealistic and, often, meaningless work goals. Weinmann details the track as well as the video:
The song «Accept Nature» tells the story of an insomniac that watches funny animal videos on her phone at night. She’s chronically stressed out because she feels that she has to compete with machines at work – so she wishes she would either become a machine, too, or survive like an animal in the wild, where her instincts / feelings would be an advantage instead of a disadvantage.
In the videoclip, the protagonist has transformed the trauma of her chronic stress into a cathartic object love. She falls for her exercise machine. To live her relationship or her kink she has to break into a gym at night.
Ironically, the wish to fit in into a merciless competitive work environment ultimately makes her drop out of the mainstream (sexuality). She explores a passion more interesting than productivity and conformity – and this exciting exploration helps her deal with the anxiousness she feels every night. I mean if you can’t sleep anyway – you might aswell break into a gym and seduce an exercise machine, right?
One night, she is discovered by a cleaner. This woman observes her quietly and doesn’t interfere for quite a while. Like the dancer, the cleaner breaks a few rules: She brings her dog to work and she spends the night in the gym, prying on the intimate moment between the woman and the exercise machine.
When she finally decides to step forward by switching on the light, she doesn’t call her out. Instead, she signals that she would like to join in.
I interpret this as a second step in the personal development of the two women: After turning to dogs and machines in search of love, comfort and warmth, they finally see each other. They finally discover solidarity and get curios about each other. Happy end: The stressed and singled out employee finds an unexpected ally after she dares to live out her wildest and weirdest feelings.
Odd Beholder’s sophomore album “Sunny Bay” will be released on Sept. 10th, 2021.

Sense Offence – Free Speech (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (Video)
“The New Zealand rapper “Sense Offence” strikes in the scene, with his clever “Free Speech”. As its title reveals; it’s a fierce reaction against the destructive system, against a world that wants us to be speechless, silent and unable to use our mind. Words of deep meaning by a real artist.”

This a bar-heavy rap written over a classic boom bap beat about the suppression of free speech (especially for artists) and the political polarization that is driving division and hate between people.

Madison Beer releases the tragically whimsical video for her newest single “Reckless” today. The visual follows the release of the track earlier this month, which was Madison’s highest week debut ever on Spotify with over 4 million streams.
In the video, directed by Madison and Amber Park, Madison navigates the confusion of a lover’s betrayal inside a surreal story book world. The twisted fairytale is a melancholic but beautiful journey, with Madison emerging from the turmoil in the end as if awoken from a dream.
http://madisonbeer.com/
“I drew a lot of inspiration from classic children’s book themes for this video,” explains Madison. “I wanted the world for ‘Reckless’ to feel both disorienting and familiar, like a nightmare where nothing is what it seems and there’s no way out. Those are exactly the emotions I’ve gone through in relationships that have turned sour. When someone you’ve given all your trust to betrays you, you feel like everything you’ve ever known was a lie.”

The release of the “Reckless” video follows the announcement of Madison’s highly anticipated Life Support Tour (encompassing US and Canadian dates in 2021 and UK and European dates in 2022). For a complete list of tour dates and ticket information, visit https://madisonbeer.com/live/

Leeroy Stagger-Ventura (Video)
“In -Ventura-, as if watching the illusory journey of the artist, enjoy with him the sunlight and mirages of invisible phantoms. Surprisingly, you fully live all 4 minutes of this track. Exact and multifaceted, bright and clean, romantic and warm moments…”
“В -Ventura- ты словно следишь за иллюзорным путешествием исполнителя, вместе с ним наслаждаешься солнечными бликами и миражами невидимых фантомов. Удивительно, но ты полностью проживаешь все 4 минуты трека. Волнующие и многогранные, светлые и чистые, романтичные и такие тёплые мгновения…”

Leeroy Stagger finds inspiration through grief on his new single ‘Ventura’ out today on all digital streaming platforms.
“The song ‘Ventura’ is about my friend Neal Casal,” says Leeroy. “The first time I met Neal was on a magical night in New York City, he was working on Willie Nelson’s Songbird record as he was in Ryan Adams’ band The Cardinals at the time. He invited us out to the 17th St. bar where all the Cardinals were hanging out, he introduced me to the band and they all had laughed how they were happy that Ryan wasn’t there because they didn’t want me to have a bad impression of him.
“Neil was always enthusiastic. We ran into him a few years later in Nottingham, England, where Ryan was playing the big theatre. Neal came out for coffee with me and my wife Coby and always had such nice things to say about my music and my career. He even sang on my Everything Is Real record, which was such an honour for me. Before he tragically passed, we had been in touch about him possibly playing guitar on some new music I was working on.
“I wanted to pay tribute to my friend in song. When it came time to make a video, I thought it would be very cool to have something surf related, as Neal was such a big surfer. He loved the ocean. I found this great old surf footage from California in the 50s on YouTube and approached the fellow who owned it (Wes Timmons) who also happened to be a film editor. He lovingly edited the video into the dream state we see. It fits perfectly to the song and is a beautiful tribute to Neal.”
‘Ventura’ is the first single from Leeroy Stagger’s new album Dystopian Weekends, which is set for release on October 1st. Recorded at Afterlife Studios in Vancouver at the beginning of the global pandemic, Leeroy says that “Dystopian Weekends is the serum of truth with a slice of light and darkness that we all need right now.”

BERWALD – Eso (Video)
“”BERWALD” is here with a dancing bomb for our Summer nights. Successful combination of House and Latin elements, which lift the mood and transfer positive energy. It’s time to adjust your speakers’ volume and …start the dance!”
-Nagamag.com
Artist shared few words with Nagamag behind this song:
“During my past year at Abbey Road Institute in Amsterdam the song Eso was created. It is a House and Latin like dance track.
Due to the pandemic I longed for the freedom like we had before. The traveling, going to festivals with friends and enjoying the summer days is something we took for granted. From this nostalgia the song came about. I made it with another student/artist from Puerto Rico, he was the perfect match because he knows the Latin culture better than I do. He played the guitar and did the vocals on it. These two elements gave energy and soul to the song and later became the whole theme for this project.
When people listen to this single. I want them to feel free, energetic, positive and get summer feelings.
The song got played on Sublime FM the biggest soul, funk and jazz radio in the Netherlands. Where they do crossovers on Sundays with soul and electronic music.
This is also the single of the upcoming EP. The EP consists of 4 songs. These songs are about my love for soul music and the music I grew up with. It is a mixture of house, soul and big band music, the stuff I want to make more of in the future. ”
