ROMAN CIGI – Venom (Video)
“Here comes “Venom”. A cool and fresh creation in classic techno mood. This track combines old with new sound ideas. The artist’s personal touch is clear and the result is strongly impressive.”
-Nagamag.com
It’s a combination of Techno, Deep, Dark & Acid music. Song is quite short on techno, just something above 3 minutes, but it meant to be. Three minutes is enough time to show everything that Venom is all about. Primary tempo was set up at 125 bpm. Venom will definitely find a group of techno lovers who will enjoy the quality and uniqueness of the song and also a group of people with opposite opinions.

MESSERGEIST – Innermantra (Video)
“Our soul is designed not only to hear, feel and understand the world, but also to energize our bodies and minds. The new track Innermantra by Messergeist is a breath of pure energy. Solid production! ”
“Наша душа предназначена не только для того, чтобы слышать, чувствовать и понимать мир, но также ещё и для подпитки энергией наши тела и разум. Новый трек Innermantra – глоток чистой энергии.”
-Nagamag.com
New track from Messergeist, released on Vision Vol.2 compilation by Bring New Unity records. Really melodic and groovy track, with meditative vibes and Indian chants. A mix between progressive house and melodic techno, with strong kick, deep and wide bass, ethereal sitar and plucky melodies. Without being too long, the song is evolving into some trippy vibes while keeping the groove all along.

Melodic tech house, sometimes a bit lunatic. Travelling through light, darkness, hope and despair, Messergeist’s music is a journey towards the soul of a twisted mind.

Carla Stark – Naive (Video)
“The new composition of Carla Stark – Naive – is full of rich colors and personality, penetrating through the soul with vocals and the energy of music, as a link between heaven and earth.”

Carla Stark, born Carla Biset-Bentchikou, is 33 years old. With her Algerian-German mother and French father, Carla lived first in France, then in Vietnam and in India. The French-Algerian singer, Belgian at heart, now spends her time between Bombay, London and Belgium, where she settled 13 years ago. Proud of the many different sides of her personality, she describes herself as a chameleon.
Carla grew up listening to both Korn and Stevie Wonder. With the sound of her father’s saxophone in her ears, she was singing the lyrics to Claude Nougaro before she could even talk. As you understand it, music has been a part of her life since the beginning. For 16 years, she works hard on the piano, before leaving it and focusing on high school, that she finished in Vietnam. She then moves to Belgium where she studies at the Solvay Business School et gets a Master in Economics (by presenting a thesis on music therapy).
Just out of school, and after a few years of business experience, Carla feels like she doesn’t belong and decides to follow her heart and be an artist. She takes a few singing lessons, joins a theatre group, then integrates the Cours Florent, a theatre school in Brussels where she will study a few months before joining the Indian music “Beyond Bollywood”, where she will go from being in the production team to being on stage as an actor and a dancer, for the whole Europe tour of the show.
Carla Stark’s latest album “Karma” was a quest. A quest of love and a search to find herself again after a painful breakup. The singer comes back today with a new EP “C.”, sometimes inspired by her deceptions, sometimes by the optimism of her better life. Chameleon with multiple influences, the artist lives between Brussels, London and Mumbai and decides to sing her emotions in booth English and French.

Innocenzo Genna – Bruges Memories (Video)
“Memories are all that we have left from our distant and almost intangible, but still dearly beloved youth. The Bruges Memories composition from Innocenzo Genna helps to plunge into our lamp past.”
“Воспоминания – это всё, что у нас осталось из такого далёкого и почти неосязаемого, но по-прежнему горячо любимого юношества. Композиция Bruges Memories помогает окунуться в наше ламповое прошлое.”
-Nagamag.com
Innocenzo Genna, called also Inno, has always lived music in multiple dimensions: as a musician, firstly performer and entertainer, and then composer, but also as a technology scholar. His interest in music is not only artistic and emotional, but also professional, because for years Inno has been working in the Internet and technology sector as a lawyer and policy expert, so as to be involved in the major political debates concerning music and technology: from P2P to online piracy, from online platforms to the liberalization of collecting societies, up to the recent European copyright reform.
Such an intense professional activity enriched Inno’s musical vocation, while adapting his classical practice with modern and pop piano, blues and jazz, so as arranging the various genres into a personal compositional style. The many trips in Italy and abroad have contributed to creating the context of images, memories and fantasies from which his compositions are born.
In 2007 Inno settled in Brussels where it found new creative inspiration through the contact with the dynamism and the international ésprit of both capital city and European institutions, the creative Belgian surrealism, and also because of the rainy and melancholy climate of the place. In 2016 he completed his first collection of piano compositions “Brussels Stories”, while a second CD is scheduled to be released in 2020.
The piano compositions of Innocenzo Genna fall within the categories of minimalism and modern classic, with frequent combinations into blues and jazz. He is similarly conservative as a composer, for his music drawing heavily on harmonic and melodic practices found in 18th and 19th-century European compositions. His repertoire is freely accessible through his website and social networks such as Youtube and Soundcloud, while being available also on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Deezer.

Felix Reuter – Erinnerungen an Ludwig (Video)
“Listening to every note of such works, you understand and realize how deeply our soul drowns in the thoughts and feelings of the author. Only music. And nothing else. Art is born in silence.”
“Вслушиваясь в каждую ноту подобных произведений, понимаешь и осознаёшь, насколько глубоко утопает наша душа в мыслях и чувствах автора. Только музыка. И ничего больше. В тишине рождается искусство.”

Otosan – Nowhere feat. Julia Lostrom (Video)
“Endlessly fascinating groove that rumbles with a thunderous boom, and soulful vocal capabilities through a top notch sound and visuals production which allow us to enjoy this loud! ”
-Nagamag.com
Like everyone else during the lockdown, Otosan’s lives were lived out online. But there’s always a silver lining…
This is where they discovered emerging Melbourne singer-songwriter Julia Lostrom on triple j Unearthed and knew they had to get her in on a session.
“We started scouring through triple j Unearthed for some amazing vocal talent, which is always our first go-to when looking for collaborators,” explain Otosan, aka Ryan Dickinson and Ultan Burke. “From the moment we heard Julia’s voice we knew she would be a perfect fit for the track. The first takes were recorded with Julia remotely in the first wave lockdowns in April and streamed on Instagram Live, then completed with a couple of real-life socially distanced recording sessions during a brief lifting of harsh restrictions in Melbourne.”
Vocalist Julia said, “I had just released my single ‘Walls’ on Unearthed and the Otosan guys thought my voice would suit their track, so they reached out and I loved it so much! It was so funny recording it virtually in the first lockdown and then we met up in the in-between stage between Melbourne’s strict lockdowns to record some parts and just got to hang out a bit. They’re such lovely guys.”

Lyrics:
I’ve been there
that belt looked good
been on that balcony
where you stood
sat underneath the door
wondering what it’s all for
hanging by a thread
pushed right to the edge
but I’m still here
and you ask me how much pain
you ask me how much pain it takes
you ask me how much pain it takes to leave
and I don’t know
cos I’m still here
and I’m still here
but I’ve been with you before
wondering what it’s all for
stood on that balcony
sat underneath the door
stepped out on the ledge
pushed right to the edge
been scared half to death
but I’m still here
and I’ve been in that seat with you before
and I’ve been at the end of a rope
one thing that keeps me going everyday
is holding on to Hope
and you ask me how much pain
you ask me how much pain it takes
you ask me how much pain it takes to leave
and I don’t know
cos I’m still here..
Harvee – Take It Back (Kevin McKay Extended Edit) [Glasgow Underground] – YouTube (Video)
“Prepare to dive into the world of classic House with Harvee. “Take It Back” recalls pleasant memories from the past and you simply cannot resist moving in its own rythm. Reccomented for your daily playlist.”
-Nagamag.com
Prodigious house music producer, Harvee, unleashes his latest single, ‘Take It Back’ on Glasgow Underground on 11th December. Label founder, Kevin McKay, who features on the release with an extended edit, made the Essex-born and bred youngster, the youngest ever artist to appear on Glasgow Underground at just 18 years old. Harvee’s future looks bright with releases on labels such as Fogbank, Juiced, Souluxe, and Play & Tonic, a spin from The Shapeshifters, and six Traxsource ‘Weekend Weapons’. Harvee’s uplifting house grooves show talent beyond his years and underline his status as a serious one to watch in 2021. Stream / download here: https://gu.lnk.to/TakeItBack.
Harvee, or Harvey Burry as he’s known to his mates, only celebrated his 18th birthday in August. Laying down his sticks as a drummer, some three years ago, Harvee turned his hand to production and released his first slew of singles in July 2020 on the likes of Fogbank, where he made a big impact with ‘For Fun’, which was dropped by The Shapeshifters at a sit-down, socially distanced at POW Brixton; the first time he’d ever heard his track in a club! This was a momentous occasion for the rising talent who had to Shazam it to prove to his mates that he wasn’t making it up!
Born into a musical family, Harvee was introduced to house music by his father, who himself released a few choice tracks back in the day as Back 2 Front. Says Harvee, “I’ve always been around music with my sister DJing in clubs in Ibiza and my Dad always loving house music. Hearing it played constantly is really what got me interested. I first started on Garage Band, which then lead to Logic around three years ago.”
Bitten by the bug, Harvee has upped his game from bedroom producer to a remarkable artist, crafting a steady stream of releases in 2020 with no fewer than six ‘Weekend Weapons’ on Traxsoure, including his remix of Makito’s ‘Purpose’ and ‘Tell Me’, both of which came on Souluxe Records.
His first single for Glasgow Underground, ‘Take It Back’, is an absolute gem with a clever use of disco samples and inspired vocals, helped along with some arrangement and production expertise from Kevin McKay. It cleverly straddles the divide between house and disco, with big strings soaring to the heavens while a funky bassline rolls down low. The warm drums are big hearted, and the vocal sample delivers emotion and feelgood vibes.
Glasgow Underground has a long running reputation for developing brand new and exciting talents, alongside working with legends of the scene, and this is further proof of that, coming as it does hot on the heels of a big new single from recent signings, Earth n Days. Alongside countless Beatport and Traxsource #1s, regular spots on the BBC Radio 1 shows of Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard, and numerous releases with over 1million streams, this label really is an icon of the scene.
What better way to end a breakout year for Harvee than with his biggest single so far on an influential house label that has been making and breaking records since before he was born…
