We both know
That we’ve been drifting on
Side by side
Like headlights in the dawn
Watch it fade and let it turn to grey
Cut me loose and help me rearrange
While you keep it a secret
I know it’s true
We’re moving too slow
Now we’re slipping too
Go find what you seek
You don’t need to hide
Don’t leave but get out
Get out of my life
Are you thinking bout me?
Are you thinking bout her?
Are we under the sheets or
Under a curse?
You burned what you reaped
Now you wanna return
I laid it down
I pulled it out from my deepest
Shades of blue
Been painting too long
Don’t wanna keep it
We both lie
But you’re the one with all the secrets
If your words held meaning
I’d be able to read them
Are you thinking bout me?
Are you thinking bout her?
Are we under the sheets or
Under a curse?
You burned what you reaped
Now you wanna return
You say we can change
I don’t have any faith
It hasn’t been the same
Since what happened last May
To you it’s just a game
You wanna play it safe
I’ve been there before
It’s time to open that door
Time to open that door
Those are my bags on the floor
While you keep it a secret
I’m bleeding
I don’t wanna be here
If you don’t believe it
So be it
I’m leaving
If you don’t believe it
If you don’t believe it
Better believe it

The place we call home is up in smoke
Say goodbye to everything we own
I’d trade it all for the women I love
And start over if push comes to shove
A Flame so bright you can’t forget
that’s the beauty of it
Smoke clearin’ up in the sky
It fades away like your crying eyes
I need a smile as I hold you tight
Your heart still beatin’ everything alright
It ain’t a life with a fair shake
It ain’t a life without heartbreak
Smoke clearing’ up in the sky
It fades away like your crying eyes
Feeling numb as we watch it burn
Seeing clear when its its all a blur
A Flame so high you can’t forget
that’s the beauty of it
Smoke clearing’ up in the sky
It fades away with your crying eyes
I need a smile as I hold you tight
Your heart still beats n’ everything is alright
It ain’t a life with a fair shake
It ain’t a life without heartbreak
Smoke clearing’ up in the sky
It fades away with your crying eyes
A wildflower rosin’ through the ashes
Live another day thats the beauty of it
Smoke clearing’ up in the sky
It fades away with your crying eyes
I need a smile as I hold you tight
Your heart still beats n’ everything alright
It ain’t a life with a fair shake
It ain’t a life without heartbreak
Smoke clearing’ up in the sky
It fades away with your crying eyes

Vi var sugna på en bit
Och kanske släcka törsten
Vi hade vandrat hela dagen
Det var redan kväll
Vi letar oss ner i gränderna
I den gamla delen av stan
Vi tar ett bord vid Basilique
Saint-Michel
Gänget nere i hörnet
Bjuder ut sitt sortiment
De lämnar oss ifred
vi är för dålig affär
Tiggarna med sina hundar
De går från bord till bord
Locals, ungdomar, udda existenser och så vi
mitt i allt det här
Det var inte hit vi skulle
Ändå hamnade vi här
Om man tror på nån slags mening
Är det kanske just det här
Är det kanske just det här
Allting bara pågår
Ingenting är nånsin nog
Allting blir en cirkel
Ingenting har ett slut
Man hittar sin plats
Var man än är
Ett ställe där man får vila
Ett ställe där man kan andas ut
Det var inte hit vi skulle
Ändå hamnade vi här
Om man tror på nån slags mening
Är det kanske just det här
Är det kanske just det här

We fuckin’ filthy on the sheets (yeah, filthy on the sheets)
Runnin’ marathon rounds, no time for sleep (no time for sleep)
Your mouth on mine, then lower down my spine (down my spine)
Baby, that body was built for sin tonight
Grind it harder, ride it slow
I want your nails where the neighbours know
Moans so loud, we can’t play it coy
This ain’t love, this is raw, it’s joy
We gettin’ nasty in the bed (nasty in the bed)
Sweat drippin’ down while I’m givin’ you… (Yeah)
No mercy, baby, I want it all night
Do me wrong, do me right, do me into the light
Hands tied back, ass up high
Every dirty thought you ever had, let it fly
Don’t stop, don’t quit, let that body talk
I want every single drop till the sunrise stalks
Ride me reckless, baby, don’t play nice
Every stroke feels like I’m rollin’ loaded dice
Sweat’s dripping down, we’re drowning in desire
You’re the gasoline, I’m the motherfuckin’ fire
Flip it over, tongue where the fever lives
I want it nasty, greedy, no fucks to give
Your hands on me, my teeth on your skin
Every dirty secret—yeah, let’s begin
We gettin’ nasty in the bed (nasty in the bed)
Sweat drippin’ down while I’m givin’ you… (Yeah)
No mercy, baby, I want it all night
Do me wrong, do me right, do me into the light
Backseat boomin’ with the windows down
Funk so filthy, shake the whole damn town
Moans turn rhythm, bodies keep the beat
This groove’s so raw it’ll knock you off your feet
Say my name while you scratch my back
I’ll take you deeper, baby, never slack
Round after round till the sun creeps high
We don’t make love, we fuck and fly
We gettin’ nasty in the bed (nasty in the bed)
Sweat drippin’ down while I’m givin’ you… (Yeah)
No mercy, baby, I want it all night
Do me wrong, do me right, do me into the light
Round after round till the sun creeps high
We don’t make love, we fuck and fly
Round after round till the sun creeps high
We don’t make love, we fuck and fly
Round after round till the sun creeps high
We don’t make love, we fuck and fly
Round after round till the sun creeps high
We don’t make love, we fuck and fly
