Jagger the velvety singer from deeply rooted beginnings in music brings what is seen as the centerpiece of music with a style that is reminiscent 70’s, but with a tone and approach unique to her. Every artist has a start that sparks love for music, and their story is what ultimately influences the art they create. Jagger was just 5 years old when she started singing. The first time she sang a Lady Gaga song for her grandma with a Hannah Montana wig, and pink toy microphone was the moment Jagger came to life as an artist. Singing became a daily occurrence, source of entertainment, and inspiration throughout her childhood summers.

Music was not only a source a joy, but also an escape from the judgement of her talents growing up. Irony is a word that paints a picture for the quiet girl who loved to sing in front of crowds. It made her feel that the inner most part of herself was able to be expressed. The songs she wrote, learning of instruments, and hours upon hours singing built into a beautifully interwoven story of how the stress of judgement and challenge of shyness unfolded into a splendid turn of events.

Fast forward to just a few short years ago Jagger began to write a series of songs with songwriters that have written for some of the biggest artists of our time, and turned these songs into magical productions with vocals that are hard to forget. Her approach brings a soft, calming nature to every song with nuances that lift the listeners ear to another realm. Being lost in the music is easy to do when listening to her songs "I Go Crazy” and "The Sixties." The songs combine etherial feeling tracks, soft yet expressive vocals, and lyrics that will be stuck in you head after hearing this song.

Yana – Don’t Want Your Love

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Influenced by her post-breakup feelings, the talented "Yana" sings with bold sentimental mood and cannot leave you unaffected. Also the quality Lo-fi Pop background of sounds perfectly matches with the lyrics and create a hooking effect.”

-Nagamag.com

Artist said about this song:

"I wrote "Don't Want Your Love" after the end of an unfulfilling relationship I had at 20. I shared the idea with Instagram, uploading a video of myself playing the song on piano in my bedroom. To my surprise, tons of people related to it and asked for the full song. I recorded it with producers Franco Reid and Jon Joseph later that year in Los Angeles. "

Born in Varna, Bulgaria and raised in Long Beach, California, 23 year-old Yana captures the intimacy of poignant pop lyricism and ear-wormy melody to create the dream-pop of tomorrow with her smooth and sultry vocal tone. After emigrating with her family from a post-socialist Slavic Europe and finding refuge in the United States, Yana fell in love with the creative freedom that music provided and dedicated the majority of her growing years to developing her sonic style. In early 2019, she teamed up writer/producer Franco Reid to begin writing her EP “Hindsight.” The newest single from the project, “Don’t Want Your Love” describes the unfulfilling end of a relationship, the kind that leaves you only with questions. Yana is able to encapsulate the feeling of post-breakup confusion and yearning with a hooking melody you won’t be able to forget.

Najad – Ruccine

“In “Ruccine”, selected drum loops are decorated with melodic strings to form a wide atmosphere. The vocals are simple and have an hypnotic repetition. Suitable sound for all fans of Folktronica & Trip-Hop with a strong eastern taste.”

-Nagamag.com

Najad’s new single “Ruccine” has various meanings, most importantly the one the listener decides to give it.

“Ruccine” describes a fictitious word – sung and played backwards, it invites you to immerse yourself in your own world of thoughts and perhaps raises or even resolves some questions: “Am I only hearing what I want to hear? Do you hear something different? What’s the truth? Is there even a single truth or perhaps a deeper understanding our brain can’t quite grasp?” The soft, female vocals at the end play into this idea even more, since only imagination could make out the initial message.

No matter from which facet you want to look at the song, there are both mindfulness and a feeling of calmness to Najad’s sound, shaping it so significantly that you won’t get around it. Once again, Najad takes us on a journey from which we can take whatever we need- even if it’s just a sudden craving for some really good Indian food.

Sworr. – Rain Orange

“"Sworr." have put in order Indie and Trip-Hop elements and the result can exceed your expectations. The single starts smoothly with wide pads and calm vocals, progressing slowly for the first two minutes. The beat is strong and its percussion blows up in a faster and more uplifting finale. Truly surprising work!”

-Nagamag.com

“Rain Orange” is the third single from Sworr.’s upcoming album. Written on a rooftop during a rainy day’s sunset, this electronic/alt pop song’s atmospheric intro with the distinctive vocal bassline and the spoken words, leads to a verse with a uniquely beautiful vocal melody. The dominant vocoder effect in the bridge that follows, leads to the track’s peak. An uplifting second part where the beat gets busier, while the lyrics interpret the restart after accepting our evolution.

Felix Rösch – Berceuse Rework

Categories: Audio, Features, Neoclassical, Neoclassical Features, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“This Neoclassical composition will fill you with warm sensations that will smoothly cool down, like a cup of warm tea in your hands. Music that is able to pick up the key to your soul and maintain the necessary balance of harmony and peace inside it.”

“Эта неоклассическая композиция наполнит вас тёплыми ощущениями, которые будут плавно остывать, словно кружка тёплого чая в ваших руках. Музыка, которая способна подобрать ключ к вашей душе и сохранить в ней необходимый баланс гармонии и умиротворения. ”

After the great success of ‘Berceuse’ — with radio plays from New York’s WQXR, to UK’s Scala radio, film synchronizations and beautiful playlist adds — it only felt natural to re-imagine this piece for my upcoming album ‘Fragmente’. While staying true to the original melody, this rework for string quartet and electronics shines a whole new light onto the quiet timbre of this gentle lullaby.

Berlin-based composer Felix Rösch blends his years of experience as a classical composer and his passion for experimental electronic music into colorful, carefully constructed arrangements and contemplative ambiences.

His music is inspired by contemporary classical composers like John Adams, Henryk Górecki, and Anders Hillborg as well as artists like Rival Consoles, Max Richter and Ben Frost.

His latest EP ‘Piano’ — out May 28 — meshes fluid piano improvisations with carefully constructed layers of analog synthesizers and delicate string arrangements. The EP was entirely produced live on YouTube. On Feb 3 the second single ‘Interlude II’ from ‘Piano’ was released. “This track started as a piano improvisation, where I was fascinated by the idea of stoically repeating the most rudimentary two-note chord possible. That simplicity felt very liberating like I just hit the bottom of something I still can't really describe. From there everything else fell into place pretty quickly. This is probably my favorite piece on this EP.” Felix says.

‘Piano’ follows 2020’s ‘MYA’ and ‘str:orchestra’, which were featured in Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Classical New Releases, and Not Quite Classical playlists, and were licensed to a global Burberry advertisement campaign.

Over the past ten years, his orchestral compositions have frequently been performed and recorded by world-renowned orchestras like the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg and the WDR Symphony Orchestra & Choir. He has won several awards and scholarships and his music can be heard in countless theater performances, audiobook soundtracks, and film scores.
