Augustus Nyarko, better known as $illy Gusti, is an Italian artist with Ghanaian parents born in 1997.
He has lived in Italy since childhood. He grew up in the world of American trap music, from which he has always been inspired both for his lifestyle and for his music. He is the founder of afrobeat in Italy, thanks to his mix of cultures; his lyrics in Italian, English and twi (Ghanaian dialect) mixed with the sounds of afrobeat and trap bases. When he was a child he used to sing in the church choir, where he learned to create melodies. In 2014, along with his friends, he founded the group Troppos Gang, with whom he released the album “2 Many Years” and “Vengo Dal Piano. ” During that time they had a distribution partnership with “That Rabbit/Orchard/Sony Music” with whom they got to know the world of the music business, also participating in several concerts. In 2019, the album “Cavour” was released, with the hit track “These Folks. ” In 2021, “Cavour II” was released
