A cure for the blues should you miss being smacked upside the head by techno tyranny turning the lights out, Marco V in particularly ruthless mood when medicating from one of the most famous odes to dancefloor divinity of the 90s.You’ll know the vocal instantly, but the gruff instruction, heart-in-mouth foghorns and granite kick drums of ‘Heal My Hertz’ mean there are no soft landings, just harsh lessons to quickly heed. The ecstatic synth lines of the source material breach the track’s defenses, but the bitterness doesn’t end as V’s solutions and remedies stay vengeful.
