SANTA FE, N.M. — May 2, 2022 — Woven Talon—a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Santa Fe and Boulder, Colo.—is excited to announce his forthcoming album, “Hajiko” (private link). The third album in Woven Talon’s Kahu Takaya series, “Hajiko” is a collaboration with artists from Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand). The album features layers of soulful rhythmic vocals, world percussion, hypnotic strings and colorful textures, continuing the multi-album cinematic storytelling experience of deep journey soundscapes. “Hajiko” will be released on the summer solstice—Tuesday, June 21. The album release will be accompanied by a music video for the song “Guri” (private link; password: kahu).
