Few words about Gavin Libotte:
Gavin was born in Kent, England and moved to Perth Australia in 1981. He studied classical guitar with Perth virtuoso Stephan Bulmer and Colin Reeves. He then went on to complete a certificate and associate degree in jazz and contemporary music at the Perth Conservatorium of Music.

He then formed the guitar band Urban Gypsies with Glenn Rogers. They released the widely acclaimed debut CD Gypsy Fever.

They went on to support the Buena Vista Social Club, Cassandra Wilson, Demis Roussos and many others.

In 2003 Gavin Libotte moved to Sydney to continue with the widely respected jazz / Latin guitar duo Urban Gypsies with Simon Phillips. Together they recorded the album Sauvage, an instrumental guitar world music album, released through MGM and promoted through SBS, local media, the ABC and receiving a 3/4 star review in The Sydney Morning Herald.

Gavin then collaborated with Gordon Tan and recorded a third CD Beautiful Catastrophe also promoted on ABC Radio. Hi fourth studio album Samsara was released in 2017. Gavin Has worked with many other acclaimed musicians including Dieter Kleemann, Arrebato Ensemble, Jonathan Zwartz, James Hauptman, Abel Cross, Hannah James and many more. He is currently working with jazz guitarist Charlie Meadows.

Gavin also works with singer Niyati Parikh ( Breakfast at Tiffany's ) playing jazz pop groove and lounge music at weddings and corporate events.

He has also recently written and recorded two original albums of guitar works incorporating Jazz, Classical and contemporary styles of music. The Latest work "Ocean " is available to stream now on all platforms.

Gavin is currently performing and teaching in and around Sydney.

Set Me On Fire, the new release of Birdmask, performed with passion and driven by epic emotions and energy without missing the peacefully moments.

Birdmask is the immensely talented Swiss multi-instrumentalist Manuel Gagneux, who first started dabbling in his intoxicating melee of classical, pop music and harsh noise while living in Harlem. Since 2013, Birdmask bubbled away on the hip underground, as he uploaded song after song of melodic chamber pop and what he rightly dubs “pop-rocked-bliss” onto Bandcamp, drawing appreciation from fans and tastemakers along the way.

With a Birdmask tour booked for 2016, a new career-changing project was unexpectedly inspired and took over: Zeal and Ardor, which led to world tours and albums. However, Gagneux is now returning to his nascent musical creation musical project Birdmask – the one with which he identifies most closely – and ‘Set Me On Fire’ is the first of his stadium-beckoning official releases that will allow it to take flight.

Birdmask said:
“I’ve had this song ready for a couple of years now, but being preoccupied with other projects kind of forced me to leave it on the back burner. I feel like it’s about time to let it out,” says Gagneux. “In the time between then and now I was lucky enough to tour the world with a different project, score plays and start a secretive anonymous project as well but Birdmask will always be the name that I identify most with. It sort of feels like coming back home in a sense.

“I’ve tasted a great many fruits and licked my wounds all around the globe and it just might be time to head back home. Greet old faces and maybe even sculpt new ones that might find comfort in this place. My home. Perhaps even yours.”

The song starts with a strong vocal verse that sets the tone, then going to a groovy chorus that's supported by a solid P Bass line that carries the song ahead. Midway though the song we hit a very aerial bridge in which the sounds of the 80's synth Juno take centre stage. "Top of Me" turns into a strong, high energy club banger for the midway and across the last 2 choruses which promises a satisfying release of energy.

Few words about Conradaxx
Conradaxx is the solo project of musician Alex Giles Conrad of Portland, Oregon. Conrad comes from a family of musicians who have dabbled in everything from the Northern soul scene of 1950's Philadelphia to rock and speed metal on the other side of the coast. While Conrad draws heavy influence and pride from these roots, he's never been one to follow suit. He grew up on 1990's American hip-hop and r&b, eventually branching out to electronic rock and EDM after the turn of the century.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Conrad began playing drums, the xylophone, and just about anything else he could get his hands on as a small child. Currently he also plays the guitar as well as analog synthesizers. Shying away from the mainstream, he believes that every piece of music he works through should be somewhat experimental in nature, achieving something new along the way.
