Sydney artist, Tales in Space, return with their dark and edgy bass-driven single, Weapon Of You. Continuing on with their kitsch lo-fi production, the track features grinding dark undertones with layered vocals with a touch of nostalgic synth.

Tales in Space find a lush blend of organic powerful instrumentation, mixed with a hint of signature pop vibes.
Weapon Of You is the first official single from the upcoming record of the same name, due out August 14th.

Luke Bertoz, the architect behind Tales in Space, has kept a low profile over the last year since releasing his debut album ‘Formula’ in late 2014; a collection of hard hitting pop tunes like 'Shades' and lush indulgent production heavy tracks like ‘Time Machine’, the album was delicious.

2014 saw the band release their debut record ‘Formula’ Bursting with quirky and imaginative indie-pop gems, Formula builds upon the same rousing, anthemic stylings of ‘Shades’, which won the The John Lennon Song writing competition, was nominated as a finalist in the Vanda & Young songwriting competition, and received high rotation on Triple J.

The band had a hugely successful 2013/14 with their hit 'Shades' and follow-up single, ''In A Million Places At Once', as well as a huge run of tours and including shows with Rufus, Kingswood, and TK Maizda.

Weapon of You is out now. It will be added to their forthcoming sophomore record.

The first combination of a jazz trio with Sufi sounds, “Raga No. 1:Bhimpalasi” is an afternoon raga, borrows from modal scales from India and makes it accessible to a Western audience. A brilliantly performed world music with jazzy influences.

Few words about Charu Suri:
The first Indian American jazz composer to premier work at Carnegie Hall, Charu Suri was born in South India and grew up learning both Carnatic music and ragas, and Western Classical music. She was a concert pianist from a very early age and played everything from Chopin’s Scherzi to Beethoven Sonatas by the time she was 14, and won an international piano competition at 15. In 2018, she formed her own jazz band, and started experimenting with using Indian ragas as the basis for her jazz trio compositions. Her “Book of Ragas” and “New American Songbook” program at Carnegie Hall in Dec. 2019 showed two completely different sounds in jazz, and won two Global Music Awards.

Gaia is the goddess of the earth in Greek mythology. This song described the creator who created the earth by the hand of the goddess, but was ruthlessly destroyed by humans. Gaia was disappointed in humans and cursed the humans.

● Chapter 1:
The goddess awakens in the chaos of the universe and she helps God to create the heaven and the earth.
Lyric: ” בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֵ֥ת הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וְאֵ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃ ”

● Chapter 2:
God made the animals which ran happily in the verdant forest and grasslands. The goddess and the elf enjoyed the beauty of the earth.

● Chapter 3:
All the creations were finished, the fowls and the beasts of the earth after their kind.
However, bad omen followed…..

Humans cut down trees, and destroyed the ecological balance, their greed led to wars. The goddess was shocked to see that the earth was suffering damage mercilessly, so she opened the box of curses in anger to punish ignorant humans.

● Chapter 5:
The goddess was moved with pity on the few innocent humans and pure animals that were punished, so she prayed sincerely on the ladder which is leading to the realm of God.

The goddess and the elf returned to the realm of God and rebuilt the earth….

Kate Vogel fell in love with storytelling lyrics at an early age. At 16, Vogel moved to Nashville, Tennessee and began co-writing, performing, and recording her first record. Not unlike many women before her, Vogel’s ambitions came to an abrupt halt when she fell victim to a predator in the industry, and subsequently stopped singing for 9 years.

“Nebula” is the result of some experiments Slowburner made in the past couple of months, specifically for those visuals in a music adventure to explore ambient and experimental elements, slow progression sleep ambient that will hypnotize you in its atmospheres and gently harmonic tones.

Few words about Slowburner:
Slowburner is the most recent project of Élvio Rodrigues, composer and producer from Madeira island, now based in Lisbon, Portugal. In spite of being a player of multiple instruments, since 2015 Élvio has been experimenting with piano, field recordings and ambient soundscapes. The result is embodied in Slowburner’s debut EP – Before I Return To Dust – which was self-released in digital and CD formats on March 14th 2017.

In 2018, Élvio challenged himself to explore the piano more, having created for that effect a project named “Sunday mornings are for piano”, on which during 10 weeks he composed 10 songs which he played live on Instagram, one each week.

Those 10 songs were then re-recorded and were self-released in a CD Collection named ‘Sunday mornings are for piano’ in June 7th 2019.

In recent years, Tania has performed globally on European, American, Thai and Cuban stages as well as at various festivals throughout her career. Most recently she has performed at the ADE festival in Holland and appeared on TEDx Jaffa during which she received an ovation for the most original performance at the event. This honor praised her distinct combination of dancing and violin playing which Tania states is “…the most natural thing for her to do.”

Tania Vinokur is soon releasing her new album Dream Again,recorded with the aclaomed producer Yoad Nevo (Sia, Vanessa Mae, Bond) in his London based studios.

Few words about Estella:
Estella is a New Zealand born, Colorado based singer-songwriter. At 23 her work speaks with maturity and confidence. Her songs are a mixture of pop, neo-soul and rock, delivered with an open hearted honesty. While her songs bring you close, her voice never lets you go, Estella sings with the melodic command, subtlety and range that spans genres from Billie Holiday to Billie Eilish.

We are about half way into 2020 and on track to delivering a full length LP, by the end of the year. So far so good. From the Neo-Soul vibes of "Cadmium Yellow" (released in January), the "burn the town down" dynamics of "Hallow" to the attitude heavy anthemic rock of "I Dare You", due out on June 4th, Estella has been flat out.

Not that the last 2+ years weren’t productive. With the release of her EP “Dancing Girls” at the beginning of 2018, and another 8 singles delivered by the end of 2019, Estella has been constantly working. These are well crafted songs with multiple layers, both vocally and musically.

The story starts with Estella singing original songs from the booster seat in the back of her parents car growing up in New Zealand (true, ask her mother). From a young age she glides into songwriting, piano, guitar, music production and recording (piano under the watchful eye of a fierce octogenarian!!) So really Estella has been a musician all her life, like her father and grandfather before her (Andy McGee, lead singer of Desert Road and Max Winnie, Wellington musical icon, respectively) Whether it has been for personal entertainment or crisis management she has music in her; her head, her hands, her heart. Now there is a richness and depth in her voice that has comes from years of hard work and constant singing.

Estella fuses her powerhouse vocals, story like arrangements and diversity of style into music that is unique, honest and intimate.
