Mystic Peach – It’s Not Their Future (Video)
“Are you strong enough to withstand the heat of “Mystic Peach”? Hot like fire single in Garage Rock mood. Electric guitar patterns are driven along with some wild lyrics and distortion effects. Sound with attitude, not for every kind of listeners. Dare to try it!”

Southampton’s hair-raiser trio Mystic Peach have today shared their genre-thwarting single ‘It’s Not Their Future’, as well as their highly anticipated debut EP ‘M?’, via on-the-pulse South Coast label and promoters Honeymooner. In addition to the EP comes the band’s debut UK headline tour.
“Taut, intense songwriting with a rock crunch” – Clash Magazine
“No-one has managed to capture pre-lockdown loneliness in a three-minute isolated snapshot as prevailingly as Mystic Peach” – So Young Magazine
“Mystic Peach’s vocalist and guitarist Curtis Gale’s vocals are gale-force winds of their own, smashing through waves of sound with an accelerating menace while the grungy riff antes up worryingly like the most earnest of poker bluffs, daring you to call it out” – The Line of Best Fit
“There will be times in the future where Mystic Peach will be able to purr their way through people’s ears, right now it’s all about the chaos. Please don’t stop!” – Jack Saunders
“They’re really, really good, really intense and every song comes straight from the heart.” – Huw Stephens

Having previously been selected as Jack Saunders’ Next Wave on BBC Radio 1, a track remixed by New York’s A Place To Bury Strangers and recently signed to Marshall Amplifcation’s Live Agency, 2021, despite it’s grievances, was a force which encouraged Mystic Peach to indulge in a total rebrand- a change in artistic direction which enabled the group to embrace their vulnerabilities, as they gear up to unveil their biggest work yet; a labour of love and a concoction of emotions created in pockets of isolation, that’s itching to be unleashed into a freer, more creatively lucid state of existence.
Of the EP, vocalist / guitarist Curtis Gale notes: “We’re excited to finally release our first major piece of “art”; an EP that seemed to flawlessly meet the narrative of our intentions of being open on mental health, with personal experiences turned into a short story and the regression of the protagonist’s sanity.
Though that may appear negative for us, it’s an insight of our difficulties and sharing them through our music in the hope that it helps someone out there and we can celebrate our weirdness together.”
Recorded in lockdown by George Murphy at West London’s Eastcote Studios, ‘M?’, and subsequently ‘She’s So Neat’, are two captivating examples of how banded self-progression can result in long term fluidity, and confrontationally companionate euphoria. Neither a “real” name nor a symbol of mystique but rather a self-adaptive emblem of headspaces trapped in time, and set-free in guitar based anarchy, ‘M?’ is a raucous tale of subconscious intuition that combines influences of 60’s garage and Motown/Northern Soul, with a psychological plethora of Psych-Punk precision.
Categorised manically into four key stages: ‘She So Neat’: Obsession, ‘Demon Sway’: Delusion, ‘It’s Not Their Future’: Denial and ‘Float’: Suicidal tendencies, ‘M?’ is without a shadow of a doubt a four-way trip to god knows where, and just about every corner of the mind; exemplifying Mystic Peach’ innate ability of documenting the “ordinary”, during exceptionally extraordinary circumstances.
Curtis Gale continues:
“It’s Not Their Future is denial. It’s obsession. The thought of looking at yourself in the mirror and discovering flaws. Going to the dark side of your mind to discover why you feel the way you do is sometimes too much for one human to take. So what now? Blame someone/thing to make out that you’re not the problem… that turns into obsession, unfortunately. To speak for others because you feel depressed too doesn’t mean you should. Just because an antidepressant didn’t work for one person – it doesn’t mean it won’t for others. Just because your views do not match theirs – it doesn’t mean they are wrong. It’s unhealthy for the mind to obsess, and the majority of people are obsessed. We are all unhealthy.”

Muidas – Andromeda (Video)
“Very beautiful creation with a stunning lyrical mood. Light layers of Ambient sound, affectionate guitar melody and serenity of being. Such works bring light in the heart of each listener. Result which is burning with its warmth and artistic touch.”
“Очень красивое творение с потрясающим лирическим настроением. Лёгкие слои из ambient музыки, переливающаяся мелодия гитары и безмятежность бытия. Подобные произведения зажигают лучи добра в сердце каждого слушателя, обжигая своим теплом и ослепляя умиротворением.”
-Nagamag.com
Andromeda is Muidas’ fifth single, the first one of the “Above the Clouds“ project. The song is characterized by a dreamy and emotional mood, with a soothing guitar lead accompanied by falling piano notes. Inspiration came while meditating on how the universe appears to us: a harmonious constellation of immutable and shiny objects. I believe this is indeed one of the biggest and most beautiful optical illusions of our existence! For example, did you know that Andromeda and the Milky Way galaxies are likely set to clash in a few billion years? This song tries to portray the solemn and evocative journey of Andromeda towards us.
Andromeda is also an invitation to dig into ourselves. Tap on the play button of your favorite streaming app, close your eyes, and let your thoughts flow freely. Try not to engage with them, just observe and let the music guide you through this journey. When the piano plays the final notes, take a deep breath and check how you feel. Do you feel different? A bit calmer perhaps? No matter how you feel, kudos to you for finding some time to disconnect from the daily grind.

Cégiu – Glowing Goodbye (Video)
“”Cégiu” has managed to capture a spiritual power in this Folk production. Psychedelic soundscapes are combined with influensive lyrics. The overall progression is slow and a kind of mystic atmosphere is strongly presented. Don’t miss this experience.”
-Nagamag.com
The hauntingly beautiful piece “Glowing Goodbyes” is about letting go and is also the title track of Cégiu’s freshly released selfproduced album sonically created by electronic beats, cello and insect sounds.
Cégiu seeks the limit of pain. The musician/composer/producer is fascinated and inspired by the spectrum of moving forward, saying farewell to certain things and letting go. This concept is communicated with unique musicality and style in her songs. She produces her own beats from insect sounds and cello and is a self-made producer who intersects classical and electronic elements with experimental flair. The versatility of the layers of the music create an atmosphere of meditativeness and entrance listeners, sending them deeper into their psyche as each song progresses. It is difficult to put Cégiu’s music into a box – some have referred to it as ‘art pop,’ ‘chamber pop,’ or ‘freak folk,’ however, it’s more multifaceted than just one or two genres.
https://www.facebook.com/cegiumusic/
Inspired by topics of dementia, breaking down stereotypes, natural disasters and the menstrual cycle; her music expresses the mind of a restless artist in an emotional world. It’s no coincidence that many people are brought to tears when Cégiu performs live, as the artist’s natural ability to take listeners into themselves conveys empathy, vulnerability and understanding. Cégiu invites listeners to search for their own limits of pain and to release themselves into the soul of the music and let go.

AKS – Parity (Video)
“”AKS” via his new Hip-Hop release, successfully gives us a taste of his own reality and view about life. Track with cozy, steady flow, plenty of synth samples and some guitar vibrations. The lyrics are of deep meaning and also clear enough to follow them up. Quite valuable result, ideal for selective ears.”
-Nagamag.com
Following the release of his last single, the soulful and aspirational ‘Up & Up (Heavens Above)’, which was supported by the likes of Capital Xtra, KISS FM, Amazing Radio, No Signal, Wordplay Magazine and GUAP Magazine, among others, British rap artist and producer AKS aka the “three letter man” is back with an introspective and deeply personal new single titled ‘PARITY’, as he continues to tease towards his long-awaited third EP As Plane As Day: Departures & Arrivals, which will conclude the South London wordsmith’s long-running ‘Modes of Transport’ EP series.
Produced by AKS himself, under the veiled moniker #3Letters, with live instrumentation from guitarist Adrian Remedy (Ed Sheeran), bass player Benjamin Muralt (Ledisi, Ill Camille, Pixie Lott) and keyboardist Charlie Stacey (Yussef Dayes), ‘Parity’ is a rich and textured rap track, layered with lush synth keys, glorious melodies and vibrant guitar licks, over which AKS wears his heart on his sleeves in truly captivating fashion. Switching up his rap flow into a bouncy melodic quickfire rhyme iteration that captures your attention, AKS speaks honestly to the pressures and aspirations of a black father.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Parity’, AKS says, “the song is about purpose really. The notion that we do the best we can for our kids so that their starting point in life is beyond where ours was. I’m sure that was also our parent’s aim, and in that from generation to generation, there’s a sense of commonality in that. Parity. I wanted to explore generational differences – both the things that separate us from the generations that came before us, and those points of commonality that unite us. Like, wanting the best for your kids is universal right?”
Unpacking the record further, AKS adds that ‘Parity’ was “born out of conversations I was having with other parents about the hopes and dreams that they had for their kids and the struggles they had with their own parents. More and more, I realised that many of the choices that we’re making as parents are the same choices that our own parents were faced with, and try as we might to step with our best foot forward and usher in a world that we’d be happy for our children to inherit, some of those aspirations don’t come to fruition. We’re all learning on the job. Still, we pour out our best for them”.
Heralded as one of the finest lyricists in the UK by the likes of Hypebeast and Okayplayer, with co-signs from Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Jay-Z collaborator Young Guru, AKS has always had a real sense of palpable excitement around his music from fans and critics alike. While his last EP Train Of Thought earned him two nominations at the inaugural Unsigned Music Awards, and his last single ‘Up & Up’ was championed by DJ Semtex at Capital Xtra and KISS FM’s Ellie Prohan, the South London native is excited for what’s to come as he gears up to close out his ‘Mode Of Transport’ series in 2022.

Laura Reznek – Rattling Chains (Video)
“A special kind of musical composition just made from real artists. It’s true that for some of us, music can be sacred and spiritual. Beautiful acoustic Folk, in which all beauty and serenity is so skillfully presented.”
“Своеобразная музыкальная композиция, творение настоящих эстетов, если уместно так выразиться, для которых музыка нечто сакральное и духовное. Прекрасный акустический folk, в котором так искусно транслируется вся красота и безмятежность.”
-Nagamag.com
Artist shared few words behind inspiration:
“This one I wrote when I was a January in a small cottage in the isle of Skye. The power went out during a major wind storm and I went to stand out in it for a while – the kind of wind that you can lean right back into. I began to think of it as a sort of over-protective parent, an entity that’s always looking out for you and watching your every move. Since it was after Christmastime, the Christmas Carol was also in my head, and I got an image of Jacob Marley coming in all of his chains to warn about how we wear the chains we forge in life; thoughts of greed, arrogance, selfishness came to mind, and I kept thinking of the wind being this sort of character, always reminding us to be our best selves.”

NIN3S – So Far So Close (Video)
“Dreamy piano keys in a mix with spacious effects and rich hihats. This Downtempo track is a taste of “NIN3S” forthcoming release. Unique approach in electronic sound with a blend of two different bpms. Whether slow or fast, the choice is yours!”

“The beginning is the end, the end is the beginning….”

Introducing NIN3S, an experimental jazz electronica artist, whose mesmerising debut track, ‘So Far So Close’ is out now on Dorado Records.
NIN3S (pronounced ‘Nines’) is an enigmatic studio wizard, composer, arranger and songwriter, previously known as the internationally recognized DJ and producer, Uner. A classically trained pianist, he returns to his first love, the piano, to present ‘So Far So Close,’ which at its heart lies a yearning and bittersweet piano that threads its way throughout.
‘So Far So Close’ takes its meaning from ancient South American folklore; the dark tale of a man that whistles, yet when he sounds far away, he appears right behind you. Skilfully crafting beats, textures and cinematic jazz electronica, NIN3S’ gift for experimenting with melody and grooves is exemplified in his debut cut. What emerges is a bewitching masterpiece of ethereal, melancholic electronica, propelled by the exhilarating addition of live drums by Dorado Records veteran and Outside frontman, Matt Cooper.
‘So Far So Close’ is now accompanied by a slick new video, which features a digital landscape of rolling hills and valleys. With each curve and bend outlined in lights in procession and recession, all overseen by an eye, to perfectly capture the mood of the piece.
‘So Far So Close’ is taken from NIN3S’ forthcoming debut album ‘Hopeyard’ (released Spring 2022 on Dorado Records) for which he has enlisted an array of exciting talent, including Francesca Lombardo, Teal, Matt Cooper, South African Zulu singer Toshi, and more.
NIN3S has shared a new five track promo-only album sampler to showcase the breadth of his musicality, storytelling and moods. The diverse collection of tracks taken from ‘Hopeyard’ range from the slick, floaty, jazz electronica and broken beat odyssey of ‘Adeve’ featuring jazz trumpeter Teal, to the epic, emotive anthem ‘Khokhoba’ featuring the heart-drenched vocals of South African Zulu vocalist Toshi. The shimmering tech tour de force ‘Innerlight’ features the stunning vocals of Lombardo to contrast beautifully with the closing track, ‘Devil’s Hopyard’, a dazzling, delicate piano piece that takes its meaning from American folklore of listening to the devil’s footsteps with one’s ear to the ground.
Explaining his new project, NIN3S said “This new project is the end and the beginning, my life compressed into music, with different and contrasting moods, emotions and stories. I stopped touring as Uner two years ago just before lockdown and my life changed. It was a hard process, but NIN3S is about my journey to creative fulfilment, reconnecting to the piano and my classical roots, and experimenting with electronic and organic instrumentation. We go back to the origins, where the end is the beginning again.”
NIN3S signifies the end and the beginning, the last number before returning to zero, an auspicious, conceptual and soulful sound that contrasts nature & technology; acoustic & electronic; analogue & digital; fierce beats & beautiful melodies; the ancient & the futuristic. NIN3S is a classically trained pianist, who achieved international success as one of the foremost exponents of Spanish electronica as DJ and producer Uner. He has retired as Uner and now resides in NY, where he conceived new project NIN3S. With musical influences such as Burial, Radiohead, Hans Zimmer and inspirations like the early synthesis of Jean Michel Jarre and the dark electro rock of Depeche Mode.
Jasmine Thompson & Calum Scott – love is just a word (Video)
“Gentle Neoclassical touch from two bright artists. Really appreciative singing duo, emotional voices and meaningful lyrics. Followed by ctaftful piano and violin chords, this candy can change the way you think about music and -maybe- love.”
-Nagamag.com
Atlantic recording artist Jasmine Thompson has joined forces with multi-platinum-selling, chart-topping UK singer-songwriter Calum Scott for a heartfelt new single. The soaring, piano driven duet shows off their shining vocals and harmonies while telling a story of love that’s at its most meaningful when they’re together. “love is just a word” premieres today at all DSPs and streaming services, joined by an official music video directed by Jackson Ducasse (Dua Lipa, New Order) and streaming now at YouTube HERE. The accompanying live acoustic video reflects their love of singing live and underscores the song’s raw emotion.
https://jasminethompson.lnk.to/lijaw
“I went to Wales to work with the producer Jon Maguire, and I remember having the opening lyric in my head,” says Thompson. “We spent two days working together, and managed to make something we were both super proud of. A few months after the session, totally out of the blue, Jon messaged me with an updated version including Calum! It was so magical hearing his voice on it, and I felt so honoured that he wanted to be a part of the song – it immediately felt like the missing link. We had such a laugh, I couldn’t keep a straight face while recording, Jon had to stick us in separate rooms but that voice… magical. The song was inspired by slow dancing around my kitchen during lockdown, and it felt like I was hearing these love songs from my childhood with fresh ears and I really wanted to capture how they made me feel.”
“My producer and I were about to sit down and finish a song that we had written for my album when he mentioned a demo he wanted to play me that he had written with Jasmine,” says Scott. “As a big fan of her work already, we sat and listened and as soon as the demo ended, I told him I wanted to help them finish it and be part of it somehow! I love the simplicity of the lyrics but using iconic love songs to imagine how they would be without the key ingredient of love was what really pulled me in. I’m a huge fan of Jasmine’s voice, her songwriting and her energy so to not only to work but to duet with her has been truly amazing.”

Brynn Elliott – Breathe (Video)

“I wrote the first verse and chorus of ‘Breathe’ at the beginning of this year about my journey through the pandemic. I moved across the country to Los Angeles in the middle of this global crisis. In the midst of that transition, I had to learn what it meant truly to breathe. I experienced the greatest loss I’ve ever known when my dad died suddenly and unexpectedly. Since then, I feel like I have had to start over creatively. I had to go back to 15 year old Brynn, just me and a guitar processing life. We’ve all lost and grieved so much through this pandemic. It’s my hope that my story and this song will provide a moment of peace and calm for those who hear it for whatever they might be grieving or feeling. It’s my deepest hope that this song inspires others to breathe and to know what a wonderfully beautiful gift it is to be alive.”

The EP also includes a stellar series of singles including “Without You,” “Letter To A Girl,” and “Can I Be Real.” Recorded in Los Angeles and produced in large part by songwriting/production duo The Monarch (Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj), the EP sees Elliott expanding on the thoughtful yet emotionally potent lyricism of her breakthrough 2018 debut, TIME OF OUR LIVES, infusing her vibrant alt-pop with undeniable warmth, unaffected charm, and a uniquely contemplative focus on identity, self-image, and finding one’s place in the world. TIME OF OUR LIVES proved a breakthrough debut for the Atlanta-born, Los Angeles-based Elliott upon its 2018 release, highlighted by the top 15 Hot AC smash, “Might Not Like Me” – which has earned over 43M global streams thus far.

When writing Music, I always hark back to a place, a visual, a feeling that reminds me of the warm and embracing state of where I grew up.
