Backed with a dancehall-inspired production courtesy of E Double, ‘Solider’ encapsulates that initial tender spark when getting to know a newly-found love interest. Sugar-coated with his butter-like tone and bouncing melodies, ‘Solider’ is fit for those hazy summer days out with your loved ones. Although winter is approaching, Scratch has still managed to deliver a wheel-up worthy sizzler that bound to push those fall blues away. Accompanied alongside Dejour for an assisting verse, the pair demonstrate their musical chemistry throughout. Seamlessly gliding over the acoustic-led beat, Scratch’s infectious hook matched with Dejour’s effortless swagger creates an unsurpassed banger!

Captured on a bright summer’s day, the matching visuals correlate with the feel of the track comfortably. Each paired with a love interest, we follow Scratch and Dejour around as they endure the company of two beautiful young women. Speaking on the release Scratch commented, ”Soldier was made for the young lovers, giving the fans a smooth and melodic dancehall feeling”. With more music backed away in the vault, Scratch’s developing trajectory doesn’t stop here!

Following on from his recent ‘More Life’ release, not to mention his ‘One Sugar’ EP, ‘Solider’ is one of many drops this year from Scratch. Residing in South London, he first stepped onto the scene in 2014 with a selection of SoundCloud releases before seeding a string of videos on Linkup TV, and writing alongside Da Beatfreakz for reputable names including Swarmz, AJ and Deno.
WE ARE AVA – No More (Video)
“We fell in love with this full of life track. Liked the big room build ups and a voice to match the quality of the build. ”
-Nagamag.com
2 minutes and 38 seconds of pure synth force – that’s what the power track No More promises. From beat one, the song describes the struggle with oneself and one’s own mind games, only to call out to the world with powerful hits in the chorus: «I don’t wanna fight this war no more. Everyday I try to let it go. I know that it’s all just in my head. So, I don’t wanna fight this war no more.» Questioning yourself, rethinking, not feeling like you belong. «So damn hard for me to be okay.» The complexity of the subject matter and its musical background was a great challenge for the band, which is why the three can look back on the process with all the more pride today.

Gifts From Crows – Childhood (Dance of Unknowing) (Video)
“Experience again your “Childhood” happy moments via this Cinematic beauty. Piano melodies and warm pads which fill the air with faded colours. A hidden aspect of our life can be revealed by sound and now is the right time. Will you miss it?”

‘Childhood (Dance of Unknowing)’ is the 2nd of 12 new compositions that will eventually form the highly anticipated album, ‘Stories in Slow Light’.
This new composition is a reflection on childhood – as a parent and as a brother. Life is so much simpler as a child and yet, at the same time, we are barely even touched by it – hence the title ‘Dance of Unknowing’. The piece is a celebration of and a nostalgia for that innocence that we can never return to.
The recording was made at Swallow Studios in Cheshire, England and features musicians from the Northern Film Orchestra on violin, viola and cello.
The video features archive footage of families enjoying fairground rides at Coney Island and other amusement parks in the 1950s. This recently found material was made by the US Government and restored by film-maker Rick Ray who kindly granted me the license to use it in this context.
The post-war exuberance perfectly captures the care-free spirit that I was hoping to express in the music.

Maximiliano Calvo – Ajo y Agua (Video)
“Strong Pop creation with many Rock influences. Maximiliano Calvo has put his personal touch in this spanish song with 100% dancing mood and elegant lyrics. Your special amuzement is just one click away!”
-Nagamag.com

Maximiliano returns to his typical flirtation with root music, but this time with a more rock-like gait reminiscent of the best times of Los Rodríguez or the self-confidence of Calamaro. Ajo y Agua is a song in which Maximiliano recounts the sorrows of love in the most tango way, using the flamenco concept of killing sorrows by dancing. Again, this crazy bohemian steps forward and makes us dance. And this time, only, without collaborators. Maximiliano in its purest form.
Pantin Plage – Grande Motte (Video)
“Unusual and original style, with a story told in the singing. Beautiful combination of French lyrics and Dream Pop in atmosphere of 70s synth sounds. In this single, everything is well made – lyrics, melody and sound mix.”
“Очень необычное и оригинальное звучание, а самое главное, – в песне рассказана история, вложена мысль. Красивое сочетание French & Dream Pop, атмосфера солнечных 70-ых, знакомые звуки старых синтезаторов. В треке всё на своих местах – текст, мелодия, звук и аранжировка.”

“Wanna Be With You is about that feeling of wanting to be with someone but life keeps getting in the way”. Says Lei.
“Much uncertainty and ever growing obstacles make the romanticism feel like an unrealistic fairy-tale. Even though you know the pain of a heart break, you still allow yourself to fall hard and dive deep into the unknown. You can’t help yourself but take the chance. But no matter what happens, that one special person will always be apart of you.”

Chancha Via Circuito & Luvi Torres – Sano (Video)
“Deep vocal with tribal vibes and majestic basslines that rumble the earth. Easy to get lost in this one, it’s hypnotizing in so many ways. Beautiful and powerful come to mind. ”
-Nagamag.com
Ceremonia (“Ceremony”) is the first collaborative release between singer songwriter Luvi Torres, and producer Chancha Vía Circuito. Combining exceptional voicework with powerful creative rhythms typical of Chancha, the lyrics include mantras Luvi uses in their therapeutic exercises, thereby immersing us in a healing musical world.
Taken as a whole, the album’s four tracks, Abro (“I Open”), Creo (“I Believe” or “I Create”), Sano (“I Heal”), Amo (“I Love”) encourage sensitive receptivity. Luvi’s vocals are enveloped by lush ambient dub. Chancha’s rhythms and vibrations create a comforting and calming soundscape that invites a sense of timelessness and expansion.
At times Ceremonia spirals hypnotically, blurring the distinction between inner and outer worlds. This music calls for attentive listening and encourages active individual and collective reinvention
Eternia & Rel McCoy – Wonderful World (Video)
“Modern beats we dig set the tone to her skillful word play. Message is strong and mind opening. Hip Hop of the future we are here. ”
-Nagamag.com
Eternia & Rel McCoy put modern technology on blast in their gripping new video for “Wonderful World,” which serves as a sharply written observation of the very real impact of smartphones and social media in our daily lives.
As Eternia explains, the track stems from ongoing conversations she’s had about the role of tech in the world and how it affects everyone—especially younger people. That feeling is captured perfectly by Mark Carrenceja of Noisemaker Media, who also directed the video for lead single “Most PPL.” He utilizes a similar, stripped-down approach here with “Wonderful World,” though it’s a bleaker setting that fits the feeling and themes in the lyrics.
“The video takes place on a rooftop setting and conjures up the feeling of an isolated, dystopian wasteland,” Eternia says, adding that Rel’s production sounds like a frantic ode to modern tech. “It’s kind of like where the virtual world leaves us, symbolically, time and time again.”
