Fable – Guilt Of The Act (Lyric Video)
“”Fable” is preparing something strong and here’s a taste of what is going to come soon. Electro Pop single with funky chorus and fast up and downs. Real gem for those who seek for the unexpected in music.”
-Nagamag.com
Much heralded singer-songwriter, Fable today releases her brand new single, ‘Guilt Of The Act’ via Naim Records. The track is the latest offering from her forthcoming debut album, ‘Shame’ and has been locked in for a pre-release daytime premiere on 6Music, following in the wake of the trip hop-infused singles ‘Orbiting’ and ‘Womb’, which drew praise from the likes of 6Music, The Independent, NME and many more.
Interweaving between funk-pop and sun-soaked rock, Guilt Of The Act is topped by Fable’s signature vocal. The catchy chorus, “Can’t walk in these shoes I’m giving them back” sounds like the dancefloor filler of 2021 we’ve been waiting for. In Fable’s own words, “Guilt of the Act, is so immediate and sharp. I’ve cut off all my frills, which has resulted in what I would call ‘Danger Pop’”.
“The song itself is about voting with your ethics when being represented – about not taking the path of least resistance because of financial incentives.”

OLI – Don’t Give Up (Video)
“How often have you heard and listened to your inner voice telling you not to give up? This track reminds all of us not to give up and keep going, even if it’s hard and beyond the threshold of a blizzard. Wonderful Dream Pop and insightful vocals that captivate as soon as you dive into them.”
“Как часто вы слышали и слушали свой внутренний голос, который говорил вам не сдаваться? Этот трек напоминает всем нам не опускать руки и продолжать идти, даже если тяжело и за порогом вьюга. Прекрасный Dream Pop и проницательный вокал, которые очаровывают сразу, как только погружаешься в них.”
-Nagamag.com
Since launching last year, OLI’s lush, ethereal soundscapes, expansive and inspired visual perspectives, and non-conformist alt-pop songwriting have earned her critical acclaim.

With a sultry combination of deep bass and swirling synth textures, sitting beneath OLI’s effortlessly cool vocals, the single came as a result of the common experiences shared in 2020 and the sheer resilience OLI observed amongst people. Speaking of the song’s inspirations, OLI said: “I think last year a lot of the feeling was just to keep going and keep your head above water. I felt that around me a lot, friends losing jobs, experiencing periods of bad mental health and somehow pushing on. It made me realise how resilient people are and how little they give themselves credit for it.”

She continues: “I wanted the song to show that, to feel like a voice inside your head letting you know everything will be alright. That we are in this together. If anything, I hope the listener feels a little encouraged after hearing the song.”
https://www.facebook.com/olimasek/
The song will arrive with an equally luscious music video. Shot in Finland, OLI wanted to turn the fact that so many people she works with are so far away into a positive, and handed over the reins to Finland based videographer Heini Susanne to create the visually stunning video. OLI said: “I knew we didn’t need to be near to create something great together. The music video was actually filmed in Finland without me there. I wanted Heini to feel like she could do/try whatever she thought would look unique, instead of me instructing her on what I wanted.” The video sees a weary traveller lost in the snow-covered woods, battling his inner demons as he tries to find refuge.

The artwork and press photos for the single were made in collaboration with Gabrielle Salonga, a digital media artist. The pair had OLI pose in front of a green screen, with the 3D elements added in post-production.
OLI moved to London from New Jersey at the age of 2. Growing up in a musical family, she was always encouraged to be creative – writing her first song when she was only 7. Her influences range from the likes of Sade and Dion Warwick to bands such as Stereophonics, Supergrass and Pearl Jam and Pink Floyd. OLI co-writes and produces with legendary producer Benny D (Stormzy, Boy George, Kylie, Plan B, Robbie Williams, Paloma Faith, Depeche Mode).

‘’Say It To Me’’ is a song about life, forgiveness, and faith in the face of suffering in a changing world.
The song calls into question the meaning of compassion in the wake of disaster asking what is left when all is lost, in that last moment, what is there to say?

Vocab Slick & The Grouch – Find A Way (Video)
“Life is a journey and we all have to find our way through. The message is clear and “Vocab Slick” has the ability to lead us with his rhymes and words of Hip-Hop power. Awaited for the end of this month, we’re pretty sure “Find A Way” is going to reach a high rank in the scene.”
-Nagamag.com
Vocab Slick reveals the stunning new animated video for his latest single, “Find A Way,” featuring The Grouch and co-production from Nohokai and Starski.
The video is animated by Sunspot Jonz, a multi-talented artist in his own right who reps the Living Legends crew alongside The Grouch. That personal touch makes the visuals resonate even stronger than they already do, especially when you see the moving tribute to the late Steve “Zumbi” Gaines, the beloved Bay Area emcee who died tragically this past August.
The “Find a Way” video also embodies the spirit of the track, which is a reminder that no matter how much we may struggle or feel out of place, we all need a place where we can realign ourselves. And in this clip, we watch as Vocab continues to search for his own spot alongside The Grouch, who spits thoughtful rhymes in his guest verse.
Check out the visuals and head over to your preferred digital retailer or streaming platform to support. Vocab’s new album, Language, is due out on Friday, Oct. 29 on all DSPs via DR Music. The Bay Area emcee is supporting the album release with a West Coast tour that runs Nov 03 to 20 (click here for tour dates).

Tinlicker – Be Here And Now feat. Nathan Nicholson (Video)
“A touch of modern opera illustrated by sound. Solid builds ups of a soft techno beat embraced by strings. The vocals are memorable. ”
-Nagamag.com
Acclaimed Dutch duo Tinlicker (Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven) have released their stirring new single ‘Be Here and Now’ on London-based independent label Anjunadeep. The single release is accompanied by a music video directed by Julius Ponten and starring Dutch actor Werner Kolf (Wolf, Gangster, Vechtershart).
A collaboration with vocalist Nathan Nicholson, who has previously worked with Claptone, Kiko Franco, and Hannah Wants, ‘Be Here and Now’ presents as a part ballad, part progressive house anthem. Featuring the ecstatic builds and strings that have become synonymous with Tinlicker’s hair-raising sound, the single invokes the emotions of looking back at what once was. On the single, vocalist Nathan Nicholson explains:
“When Tinlicker first sent me the instrumental for this song, long before they gave it rhythm, I fell in love with it – just piano and strings. It was very powerful and a lot of the lyrics and all of the melody came out on my first pass. The lyrics are about a longing for the past and the innocence of growing up. I lost my mom when I was eighteen and within a year moved from Tennessee to England, so my childhood into adulthood has a very strong line running in between. I’m in a constant war with nostalgia – the other life – and where I am right now. In this song, I’m simply telling myself to have reverence for my past, but not to be beholden to it. A huge thanks to Tinlicker for asking me to be a part of it.”
‘Be Here and Now’ joins Tinlicker’s esteemed catalog, which includes their 2019 album ‘This Is Not Out Universe’ which saw support from the likes of Pete Tong, Ben Malone at Kiss FM, SiriusXM Chill, 538 Dance Department, Slam!, and Sunshine Live, as well as prolific producers such as deadmau5, Gorgon City, Cassian, Eli & Fur, Lane 8, Dosem and Edu Imbernon.
Having individually honed their skills as part of a world-renown drum and bass act Black Sun Empire (Heyboer), and as a producer, songwriter, and music editor for many artists (Van Achthoven), Tinlicker has quickly become a household name in the world of electronic dance music. Their single ‘Because You Move Me’ is currently #20 on the German radio charts and has accrued over 100M Spotify streams, whilst their rework of Robert Miles recently hit Beatport #1.
With releases on labels such as Anjunadeep, mau5trap, and Armada, their original collaborations with Ben Böhmer, Dosem, Lane 8, and remixes for deadmau5, James Zabiela and Reflekt have become indispensable ingredients for the world’s biggest radio and DJ shows. ‘Be Here and Now’ marks a new chapter for Tinlicker, hinting at exciting things to come.

Nina Schofield – Who Is She? (Video)
“Virtuoso, interesting and very atmospheric. In places, there is a feeling of full improvisation, which makes everyone happy. Variety of instrumental composition, etiquette and enchanting vocals from -Nina Schofield-. Great energetic music, to fix your mood!”
“Виртуозно, интересно и очень атмосферно. Местами, возникает ощущение полной импровизации, что весьма радует слух. Разнообразие инструментальной составляющей, поэтичности и очаровательный вокал -Nina Schofield-. Очень энергичная музыка, посыл которой вдохновлять и поднимать настроение!”
-Nagamag.com
Following the release of her last single ‘Not Perfect Now’ in January this year, Nina Schofield returns with a brand new punchy, synth-pop number ‘Who Is She’ due this Autumn.
Detailing the fallout of a partner cheating in a relationship, ‘Who Is She’ fuses Nina’s hazy layered vocal effects, over a thumping bass line and emotive lyrics that builds momentum into a soaring chorus of heartache and confusion.
Nina says: “’Who Is She’ was a really unique writing experience for me because I started out with a sample synth and didn’t have a clear idea of where the song would go. This one sample triggered a thousand ideas in my head and I quickly created the initial production for the track which left room for the melody to evolve. I began thinking about how I would react to losing trust in a relationship and all the ways I’d process that and pretty soon the lyrics and the melody began to form side by side. This isn’t a situation I’ve been through personally but I’ve seen my friends go through similar heartache and I couldn’t help but want to write about it and try and understand and process the emotion. Matthew Fisher then came on board and helped bring the finished song to life – it was really fun approaching songwriting and production in a completely different way as it’s super important to me to keep pushing myself outside of my comfort zone when it comes to writing songs.”
For those of you still unsure of Nina Schofield’s credentials, here’s a reminder…with an 100,000 strong audience on her Youtube channel, a no.4 iTunes singer/songwriter chart hit, nominations for Best Female Artist on both sides of the Atlantic (Best of British Music Awards and the Hollywood Music in Media Awards), live appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival, sold out tours across the UK supporting the likes of Nell Bryden and BBC show winning band Sons of Pitches, co writing and featuring on the electronic hit ‘Lift You Up’ with Aurosonic & Frainbreeze, being head hunted by Dutch Pop/R&B band Romeo to join them on their sell out come-back show and a number 1 dance record in Slovakia with Vintage and Morelli.
Added to which, she co-wrote and co-worked with Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winners and nominees with a striking list of names such as Morrisey’s Richard Niles, Gabrielle Aplin’s Tom Wilding and Tina Turner’s Steve DuBerry. Her single ‘Imaginary Love’ was chosen as Record Of The Day and supported by BBC radio stations across the UK. Top that off with a highly acclaimed single ‘My Life’ written in Stockholm with FMLY STHLM (Robyn/One Direction) and the release of her follow up singles ‘Thriving’ and ‘Ghost’ and it’s clear to see you have a recipe for pop success.
2019 saw the release of Nina’s song ‘The Gift’ which resulted in her featured live performance in the BBC Richard Gere drama ‘MotherFatherSon’ which has since been broadcast globally. Nina’s focus now remains on her writing, producing and Youtube career as well as continuing her work with chart toppers all over the world.
