Chino XL & Body Bag Ben – Vanilla Sky (Video)
“”Vanilla Sky” is the new collaborative result of a Hip-Hop duo. Hot like fire, intese and strong, can promise a true enjoyment and lead you out of the ordinary. It’s time to hit the play button and not regret.”

Chino XL & Body Bag Ben deliver the psychedelic new video for their collaborative banger, “Vanilla Sky.” The track is an all-out showcase of the acclaimed emcee’s blistering rhymes and the Oxnard, CA producer’s immaculate instrumental, and it’s hopefully the first of many tag-team releases from the duo.
Both are fresh off collaborative releases with other like-minded artists. Chino just dropped the Chino VS Balt EP with Balt Getty, while Ben teamed up with Milano Constantine for the Write It In Blood album. And now that Chino and Ben are working together, the sky’s the limit for what we can expect from them.
What we know for sure is that they’re off to one hell of a start with “Vanilla Sky.” The tripped-out visuals were directed and edited by DMT Media Brothers who were able to harness the boundary-breaking energy exhibited by Chino and Ben, all while injecting some perfectly chilling imagery into the affair.

Klangkarussell – Plastic (Video)
“Plastic boldly tells the story of our world in which we humans like never far apart. Klangkarussell found the perfect balance between melody and dynamics, so in a manner peculiar to reflect its vision of current reality.”
“Plastic смело повествует о нашем мире, в котором мы, люди, как никогда далеки друг от друга. Klangkarussell нашёл отличный баланс между мелодией и динамикой, чтобы в свойственной ему манере отразить его видение нынешней реальности.”

Klangkarussell begin 2021 with ‘Plastic’, a synth-heavy piece of emotive electronic music released via their Bias Beach imprint. ‘Plastic’ is a commentary on consumerism. The poignant vocal and the video created by the band tell of a world – Earth – where people are more disconnected than ever from each other, from themselves, and from the planet that they live on. And, as it fills with plastic from their endless appetite for consumption and convenience, how humans have begun to take that form and become ‘plastic’ themselves.
Klangkarussell launched Bias Beach with ‘Comoros’, their first single away from a major label deal that spawned hit singles ‘Sonnentanz’ and ‘Time’, and their debut album, ‘Netzwerk’. Creating their own label has proven to be a winning strategy: Klangkarussell’s releases on Bias Beach alone totalled over 25 million in 2020, spurred by the huge success of a run of singles. The label has now become home to GIVVEN (‘Ghostkeeper’) which comprises Klang’s Adrian alongside Jordan and Nico; and SIN, whoselatest release ‘Neon’ is out now.
Adrian and Tobi’s previous single, ‘My World’ (feat. Kyle Pearce), and the accompanying short film, portrayed environmental issues that Klangkarussell now continue with ‘Plastic’. This single joined ‘Shipwreck’ as a two-track release. Ahead of this came ‘Ghostkeeper’, their previous collaboration with GIVVEN, which now has over 9 million streams.
Following the outbreak of the current covid 19 pandemic, Klangkarussell put all touring on hold. Their last shows were in the UK for a sold out Night Tales London, Europe (including taking the Saturday night honours at Benicassim), Beirut and South America.
Klangkarussell, which translates to English as “Sound Carousel”, were formed in Salzburg, Austria by Tobias Rieser and Adrian Held. Both respected producers in their own right, they first broke through with the jazz-tinged instrumental club record ‘Sonnentanz’, which reached the Top 10 in 6 different countries, including No.1 in The Netherlands. Unexpectedly, a record they’d written for their own DJ sets had taken on a life of it’s own, and when a vocal version – retitled ‘Sonnentanz (Sun Don’t Shine)’ and featuring British soul singer Will Heard – was released the following summer, it became a global hit and went on to become one of the biggest dance records of that decade (despite the pair shunning all publicity).
Following the success of ‘Sonnentanz’, the duo then released their second single, ‘Netzwerk (Falls Like Rain)’, featuring vocalist Tom Havelock, and which also became a hit. Klangkarussell’s debut album, ‘Netzwerk’, appeared soon after and sporting the singles ‘Hey Maria’ and ‘In the Crowd Alone’ appeared in 2016, followed by ‘Time’, ‘Circuits’, and ‘Good to Go’ in 2017. Musically, and with the type of creative freedom they had during their initial rise to fame, both Tobi and Adrian have entered a new decade exactly where they want to be.

Joseph Shabason – “The Fellowship” (Video)
“Beautiful presentation of Joseph Shabason’s awaited work. Ambient & Drone tune to travel us through the dark cold February days, towards the arrival of Spring light. The warm company of many listeners out there.”
-Nagamag.com
Toronto-based Destroyer-collaborator Joseph Shabason is behind past releases Anne (2018) and Aytche (2017), as well as last year’s Shabason/Krgovich/Harris album Philadelphia — all of which received deserved acclaim. His empathetic style manifests itself in a unique stylistic blend of ambient electronics and new-age driven jazz.
On his new album The Fellowship out April 30th on Western Vinyl/Telephone Explosion Records, he sketches an auditory map of the transcendence, unity, conditioning, and eventual renunciation of his upbringing in an Islamic and Jewish dual-faith household across eight tracks that mesh spacious, jazz-laced composition with fourth-world and adult-contemporary tonality. As a listening experience, it’s an autobiography and in the form of instrumental music.
New single and album title track “The Fellowship” is out today. It’s a mystical ambient journey down winding city roads, with Shabason’s layered saxophone providing bright sprites behind each turn.

ÜUCE – Whiteout (feat. Michele) // Ambient, Trance Piano, Psybient, Relaxing (Video)
“”Whiteout” is an Ambient piece perfectly made for the cold Winter days. There is nothing better than a warm, relaxing piano sound while snowing outside. A special experience even for the most selective listeners.”
-Nagamag.com
The felt piano was given a lush sound by adding a tape delay and and putting a very wet reverb on the delay. My wife, Michele, vocalized throughout the song and that was also modulated. The various sound waves and walls were created using a KORG MicroKORG and a KORG Minilogue.

Eric Ananda, Agnelo Do Rego, MAC – My Type (Video)
“Kenyan producer Eric Ananda, in collaboration with Agnelo Do Rego and MAC, acquaint us with his new creation My Type. An excellent example of a commercial sound and producing competent when each sound element in place.”
“Кенийский продюсер Eric Ananda, в соавторстве с Agnelo Do Rego и MAC, знакомят нас со своим новым творением My Type. Отличный пример коммерческого звучания и грамотного продюсирования, когда каждый звуковой элемент на своём месте. ”

My Type is the first single from my upcoming project. We wrote the song about when someone catches your eye and you sense a connection “a vibe” and you try to get their attention but it’s like you don’t exist to them at all, so you try again hoping the second time round they might. We also felt it was the right time to release the song as Valentines day is around the corner and hopefully the song could inspire someone to ask someone to be their Valentine.

Zenon Marko – Hope (Video)
“Hope is very fragile and difficult to comprehend a thing than faith. Without faith a man can live forever, but not human life. Without hope he dies. Zenon Marko in its new composition Hope helped us once again to reflect on the importance of life.”
“Надежда очень хрупкая и трудная для осознания вещь, чем вера. Без веры человек может жить вечно, но не человеческой жизнью. Без надежды он погибает и вовсе. Zenon Marko в своей новой композиции Hope помог нам в очередной раз задуматься о важности бытия.”
-Nagamag.com
“Hope” is the first single from the new album “Morning Star”. “Morning Star” consists of works composed by Zenon Marko in the immediate aftermath of his mother’s death. These intentionally simple pieces were written as tribute, as meditations, as expressions of the diversity of emotions, reactions, thoughts, memories, hopes and fears that follow upon such a loss. The hope is that others who have experienced loss will feel an echo, a recognition, and perhaps find solace, within this music. All the pieces are at a tempo of 60 beats per minute, the rhythm of the second hand of a clock, to express the sense of time passing, inevitability and transience.

The emotionally charged anthem hinges on his intimate vocal performance, cinematic lyricism, and knack for an unshakable hook. Earlier this month, he posted a TikTok soundtracked by nothing more than a clip of “Did You Call Me Last Night.” It immediately resonated in a big way, amassing 7.7 million views in ten days and 2.2 million “likes.” Not to mention, it inspired 185K videos and counting. Telling a true story straight from the heart, it ignited anticipation for the full version, logging 6K pre-saves. NEWSWEEK chronicled the excitement with the headline, “TikTokers are declaring this emotional song the next ‘drivers license’.”
On his own terms, Ben Laine has asserted himself as an artist to watch in 2021. Growing up, he went from teaching himself drums, piano, saxophone, and guitar and singing in church to releasing his independent debut Brighter Day during 2017. Maintaining his momentum and organically attracting audience, he unveiled In My Mind in 2019. So far, he has quietly amassed over 1 million total streams on Spotify due to his plaintive storytelling and powerful vocals. Now, he’s ready to connect like never before on “Did You Call Me Last Night.”
Lola Lennox – La La Love Me (Video)
“Unpredictable, pure vintage sensation in the year 2021! A pleasant surprise from Lola Lennox bringing you a huge wave of love and happiness. Highly recommended for the Retro Soul fans around.”
-Nagamag.com
Friday 29th January, London, UK – Singer, songwriter and musician, Lola Lennox releases the accompanying music video for her current single “La La Love Me” today.
The music video’s release follows hot on the heels of “La La Love Me” being the most played record on Radio 2 earlier this month and it entering the Top 10 of the UK Radio Airplay Charts.
The accompanying music video for Lola’s “La La Love Me” is directed by her childhood friend, British photographer and director, Grace Pickering (Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Calvin Harris, Tyler The Creator). It follows Lola around a house while she lives out a daydream, inviting the viewer to join her in a celebration of life, love and colourful fantasy. The video climaxes with a performance in sparkling gold and soft light, highlighting the soulful prowess of the song. During a time where we are not getting out much, “La La Love Me” encourages us to find our own sense of joyful inspiration, even when alone at home.
“In a year where we cannot live normally, I’ve found it uplifting to day dream and go to places in my mind that feel like a colourful oasis, the La La Love Me video is an expression of that. It’s a heightened reality, of colour, sparkling dreams and a party for one. The song expresses the excitement and nerves of having feelings for someone, but ultimately is a celebration of a lust for life. Working with one of my oldest friend’s Grace Pickering as director was a total joy, she understands my taste particularly well because we’ve been dressing up and talking about our style inspirations since we were teenagers. This video was created to excite, inspire and encourage people to let go and turn up the music.” – Lola Lennox
Written by Lola Lennox and Carl Ryden, “La La Love Me” is produced by Annie Lennox alongside Dan Muckala and Braeden Wright. It follows Lola’s critically acclaimed summer single “Back At Wrong” which was she performed on The Kelly Clarkson show on NBC and received high rotation on Radio 2 (who added it to their A playlist).
Showcasing both Lola’s powerful voice and her inherent aptitude for song-writing, “La La Love Me” is a soul infused ode to escapism bedded in a soundscape filled with joyous colour and cascading melodies. Drawing on Lola’s predilection to daydream, it explores the concept of longing for a love that elevates one’s heart, mind and soul.
Earmarked as an artist to watch by everyone from The Sunday Times, Music Week and NME to Vogue Italia, Wonderland Magazine and Numero, Lola Lennox will be releasing her debut EP in 2021. The long player project will feature both “La La Love Me” and “Back At Wrong” alongside brand new tracks recorded in sessions with the likes of Eg White (Florence & the Machine, Sam Smith), Dan Wilson (Adele) and Dan Muckala (Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes).
Music has been in Lola’s blood from as long as she can remember. She has played the piano and sung from seven years old, written songs from the age of fifteen, and earned a place at the Royal Academy of Music. 2020 saw Lola duet with her mother, Annie Lennox, for their much talked about performance of “There Must Be An Angel” for Global Citizen One World: Together At Home to an audience of over 270 million viewers. While in 2019 she collaborated with Goldfrapp’s Will Gregory on the soundtrack for the “Serengeti” docu-series, which was narrated by Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong and aired in over 35 countries around the world (including the the UK on BBC and the U.S. on Discover Network).
